Air Canada Fleet Boeing 767-300ER Details and Pictures

Air Canada Fleet Boeing 767-300ER Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Air Canada operated 6 wide-body aircraft Boeing 767-300ER to serves their medium-long range routes.

With a length of almost 55 m and a wingspan of 47.6 m, the Boeing B767-300ER is capable of a cruising speed of 530 mph/851 km/h at 35,000 ft.

Its maximum range is 11,065 km/5,975 mi, while the maximum speed is 568 mph/913 km/h at 35,000 ft.

These twin-aisle aircraft can fly non-stop between Toronto and Tel-Aviv and are some of the most fuel efficient long-rang planes in operation.

They are used for both Trans-continental and Trans-Atlantic flights and there are four different models currently in use.

As you will not necessarily know which model you are flying on, it may be best to choose a “safe” seat, i.e. one that on all models is similar!

Air Canada Fleet Boeing 767-300ER Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

This Boeing 767-300ER version has 211 seats and two classes of service.

Onboard classes include: Business (Air Canada Signature Class) and Economy.

The business class cabin is configured with 24 seats in a single-cabin 1-1-1 herringbone layout where the A-seats face the aisle and the middle F-seats and the window K-seats face the other aisle (and each other).

Seats along the left side window have their own aisle, which offers more privacy, while seats on the right share an aisle.

If you are traveling alone, try to get the A side.

Those traveling with someone else should sit across the aisle from each other on the F-K side to facilitate conversation.

Seats are large, well-cushioned and very private. Headphones were (unusually) hardwired into the seats and could not be removed or replaced with personal headphones.

High walls between seats make conversation with seat mates difficult.

And due to the herringbone configuration, it’s tough to get a good view out the window.

The 767 is an older plane with smaller overhead bin space.

These bins could barely accommodate a standard rollaboard carryon turned sideways.

Since Air Canada plans to replace these old birds with new 787s, its unlikely that overhead bins will be replaced before they are retired.

Nonetheless, there was no problem fitting all passenger carryons in the space provided.

Compared to the new Executive Pod, the herringbone seats are very narrow, there is limited storage around the seat and zero privacy.

There is a small space under the footrest which is only big enough to store your shoes or a small bag.

There is a small cut-out next to the seat, in front of the life jacket compartment, which is too small to store anything.

On the other side, there is a literature pocket, water bottle and a shelf.

Signage clearly instructs you not to store anything on the air vents that are located directly behind your seat.

The seat converts to a flatbed and even when you are laying down there are still passengers sitting across from who you can look straight in at you as you sleep.

There are two lavatories at the front of the cabin.
