Baggage allowance for children under 2 years of age
If you are traveling with an infant on your lap, you can bring 1 additional small baggage item.
It must weigh less than 12 kg (26.4 lb) and measure less than 55cm x 25cm x 35cm (21.6″ x 9.8″ x 13.7″).

Pets in the Cabin
Dogs and cats are welcome on Air France flights, as long as the combined weight of the pet and carrier is under 17 lbs (8 kg).
On most Air France flights, pets must be over 10 weeks old to travel in the cabin.
However, on flights between metropolitan France and French Guiana, pets must be at least 15 weeks old.
Each passenger may travel with 1 animal in the cabin.
Air France does not accept pets in the business cabin on intercontinental flights.

Carrier Guidelines
For pets traveling in the cabin, your dog or cat must be transported in a special closed travel bag that does not exceed 18″ x 11″ x 9″ (46 cm x 28 cm x 24 cm).
Air France recommends that you use a flexible bag for your own comfort during the flight.
The bag must be well-ventilated, big enough to stand up and turn around, but also fit in the area underneath the seat in front of you.
Pets must stay in the bag during the whole flight.
For pets traveling in the hold, the size of carriers depends on your pet, but the animal must have at least 2″ (5 cm) above their head when they’re standing up.
Your pet must be able to stand upright without touching the sides and have room to turn around.
Carriers must be made of hard plastic or fiberglass, have no wheels, be able to lock in two places, and have separate food and water dishes.
Other Restrictions
Air France does not allow snub-nosed animals (such as pugs, boxers, bulldogs and Shih Tzu dogs, or Persian and Burmese cats) to travel in the hold for medical reasons.
The transport of an emotional support dog must be requested at least 48 hours before departure at an Air France point of sale or a travel agency.
