Aeroflot Baggage Policy Fees & Allowance. Aeroflot Russian Airlines uses a piece concept system, which distinguishes between the class of travel and applicable fares.
If you are travelling in business class (all fare families), you can check in two bags of up to 32 kg per piece.
For those travelling in comfort class (all fare families) and economy class (premium fare), the airline allows check in of two baggage pieces, with a maximum weight of 23 kg per piece.
For economy class passengers of all other fare families, one bag that weighs up to 23 kg is allowed.
While business class travelers can carry hand baggage with a maximum weight of 15 kg, the weight of carry-on baggage is limited to 10 kg, for comfort class and economy class travelers.
The maximum linear dimension of check-in baggage must not exceed 158 cm.
Aeroflot Carry-On (Cabin) Baggage Allowance
Aeroflot Airlines allows passengers to carry only one bag as their carry-on luggage for Economy, Comfort, and Business Class.
For Economy and Comfort Class passengers, the airline allows up to 10 kg of maximum weight to be carried by each passenger.
Business Class passengers can carry up to 15 kg of baggage weight.
In addition, the passengers must ensure that Aeroflot cabin baggage size does not exceed an overall size dimension of up to 55 x 40 x 25 cm.

Notes:
- Passengers are only allowed to carry cabin luggage or excess luggage free of charge for infants traveling with their parents with a separate seat.
- Luggage carried more than the allowed cabin luggage will be marked as checked baggage.
Aeroflot Checked Baggage Allowance
Aeroflot Baggage Allowance Policy states that passengers traveling can carry their luggage for free as checked baggage.
The baggage allowance or restricted limits depend on the cabin class and fare selected.
For example, if you are traveling on a Business Class and booked a Flex or Classic Fare, the airline will allow you to carry two pieces of baggage with an overall maximum weight of up to 32 kg for each bag.
Additionally, the passengers must ensure that the luggage does not exceed the overall linear size dimensions of 203 cm.

Note: If any passenger booked at least one segment under the lite or promo lite fare in Economy Class, the airline will not offer any free baggage allowance on the entire baggage flight route.
Aeroflot Overweight, Oversized, and Excess Baggage Fees
The sum of three dimensions of any hold baggage item must not be larger than 203cm, standard piece 23 kg, heavy baggage 23-32 kg or up to 50 kg, oversized more than 203 cm.

Aeroflot Airlines offers a special free baggage allowance for checked luggage.

Aeroflot Baggage Allowance for Infants
If any children is traveling with you under the age of 2 to 12 years, the same free adult Aeroflot check in baggage allowance will apply.
Passengers traveling with infants on their lap without a separate seat on a Lite fare family don’t get any free checked baggage allowance.
Infants under two years old without a separate seat on any fare family other than Lite Fare are eligible for free checked luggage allowance.
The airline provides an allowance of 1 bag with a maximum baggage weight of not more than 10 kg and an overall linear size dimensions of 115 cm.
Aeroflot Special Baggage Policy
Some checked items, such as ski equipment, golf equipment, and musical instruments will be charged a fixed handling fee because of size, fragility, or other handling requirements.

Aeroflot Airlines carriage of pets
Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities can travel in the cabin for free, this service requires prior notification and consent of the airline.
Pets (birds) carried in the aircraft cabin.
The max allowed size of a hard-sided pet carrier is 100 cm in the sum of three dimensions (44x30x26 cm), for a soft-sided carrier, it is 126 cm, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 8 kg.
Pets (birds) carried in the baggage compartment, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 50 kg.

Aeroflot will not accept for carriage as baggage (either in the cabin or in the cargo hold) the following animals:
brachycephalic (snub-nosed) dog breeds: Bulldog (English, French, American), Pug, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Boxer, Griffon (Belgian, Brussels), Boston Terrier, Bordeaux Mastiff, Japanese Chin;
rodents (guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas, chipmunks, squirrels, gerbils, dormice, marmots, ground squirrels, jerboas, etc.);
reptiles (tortoises/turtles, iguanas, geckos, chameleons, snakes, lizards, frogs, etc.);
arthropods (insects, arachnids, crustaceans etc.);
fish and fish seed as well as other marine and river animals that must be transported in water;
wild animals or birds, large predators (not tamed pets)and sick or experimental animals;
animals whose weight together with the skipper exceeds 50 kg.
Aeroflot Airline carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition
Ski, hockey, golf, fishing equipment, bicycles and weapons not exceeding baggage allowance (23 kg/32 kg and 203 cm) are included in the baggage allowance.
Usually from November to the middle of May, a set of ski / snowboard equipment is transported by Aeroflot free of charge and in addition to the free baggage allowance.
One set of surfing or diving equipment can also be carried free of charge (and in addition to your checked-in baggage) at a certain time of the year on routes from/to Malé, Bangkok, Phuket, Tel Aviv, Colombo, Seychelles, Punta Cana, Cancun, Varadero, Cairo, Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh, Havana.
A container with a single weapon / weapons and a container with ammunition are not treated as a separate piece of baggage, if their weight, together with any other piece of checked baggage, does not exceed the allowed weight.
Otherwise it’s included in the baggage allowance.
For sports equipment exceeding the free baggage allowance standard rates for excess baggage will be applied.
Aeroflot Airlines carriage of musical instruments
Smaller instruments with dimensions not exceeding 135 cm can be carried in the cabin in accordance with the rules of baggage transportation in the passenger seat.
Larger instruments can be carried as checked baggage, but in these cases the airline will not accept any liability for their damage.
When carried in the passenger’s seat, the weight of the instrument must not exceed 80 kg, and its size can not be more than 135х50х30 cm.
