The airline is headquartered in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe with their hub in Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport and hub a at Le Lamentin Airport, near Fort-de-France. Air Caraibes Fleet ATR 72-600 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Air Caraibes operates 3 turboprop aircraft ATR 72-600 for short haul flights.
Air Caraibes ATR 72s are operated as shuttles between Pointe-à-Pitre and Fort-de-France, as well as flights between Pointe-à-Pitre and Saint-Martin, Fort-de-France and Saint Lucia, and Santo Domingo to Pointe-à-Pitre.
ATR turboprops, with their outstanding performance on short runways, are a reference for inter-island operations throughout the world.
An ATR 72 can take off at maximum payload on runways less than 1,200 meters long, a shorter distance than those required by jet aircraft.
Thanks to this operational advantage, ATRs are operated by numerous companies offering this type of route in the Caribbean, Polynesia, New Caledonia, Mayotte, Reunion, the Philippines, Indonesia, the Canary Islands, Fiji, the Maldives and Vanuatu.
Equipped with PW127M engines, the ATR 72-600 also boasts the lowest fuel consumption per seat in its class (2.6 L/100 km).
This makes it possible to save up to 5,000 tons of CO2 per year compared to a regional jet of equivalent size.
Finally, the ATR 72-600 has a dispatch reliability of 99.7%, thus offering very high operational readiness to its operators.

Air Caraibes Fleet Airbus A330 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Air Caraibes operates 3 wide body aircraft Airbus A330 (2 A330-300, and 1 A330-200).
Air Caraibes uses their Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 for long haul routes, and both aircraft share similar cabin configurations.
The Airbus A330 family of aircraft is a global favorite for many airlines operating higher-capacity medium and long-haul operations.
Capitalizing on the success of the first generation, Airbus re-engined the type and offered it as the A330neo.
When it comes to the final passenger A330-300 ever produced by Airbus, the honor of taking delivery goes to Irish carrier Aer Lingus.
When it comes to the A330-200, the type is actually still in production as the A330 MRTT (multi-role tanker-transport).
This variant has been delivered to customers like the French Air Force and Royal Netherlands Air Force.
However, when it comes to the last passenger A330-200 built, it would appear that Aer Lingus’ fellow IAG member LEVEL took delivery at the end of September 2019.

Air Caraibes Fleet Airbus A350-900 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Air Caraibes operates 3 extra wide body aircraft Airbus A350-900.
On 28 February 2017, Air Caraïbes took delivery of its first A350-900 to become the 11th operator worldwide to receive this environmentally-friendly, new-generation widebody aircraft.
It’s also the first French airline to fly the A350, which will operate it alongside the carrier’s current Airbus A330s on routes between Paris Orly Airport (ORY) and the French Caribbean, including destinations like Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (PTP) in Guadeloupe and Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport (FDF).
The A350 XWB benefits from the latest technological and aerodynamic innovations offering an unprecedented level of operational efficiency while significantly cutting its environmental footprint.
Its fuselage and wings are made of carbon fibre and it is powered by the new-generation Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines.

This is the first A350-900 to accommodate 389 passengers, the largest number of seats on this type of plane so far, largely due to the 3-4-3 seating configuration in its economy cabin.

The exceptional comfort and quietness of the ‘Airspace by Airbus’ cabin, combined with its new lighting system – much appreciated by passengers for the way it reduces the effects of jet lag – strengthen the sense of wellbeing and relaxation on long-haul flights.
Business Class (Classe Madras)
The business-class cabin (Classe Madras) is arranged in a 2-2-2 layout, with each seat reclining to a fully-flat position, making this the first airline to offer lie-flat seating between Paris and the Caribbean.

Premium Economy (Classe Caraibes)
Air Caraïbes’ new premium economy seats (Classe Caraibes) are arranged in a 3-3-3 configuration, just like you’d see in an A350-900’s economy section, but with a more respectable pitch of 36 inches — the seat width, however, is just 17.3 inches, making it one of the skinniest seats in a premium economy cabin.

Economy (Classe Soleil) gets even more snug, with a seating configuration of 3-4-3, a layout that’s typically found in the economy section on other aircraft like the Airbus A380.
Air Caraibes A350 900 Soleil Economy Class Seats Layout
Most other airlines opt for the ‘standard comfortable’ seat width of 18 inches — which helps increase the feeling of ‘shoulder space’ while you’re sitting next to another passenger — and include an average seat pitch of around 31-34 inches.
But by installing the extra seat in the middle row of economy on Air Caraïbes’ A350, it’s now the first A350 operator to not have the usual ‘Airbus standard’ 18-inch seat width, instead offering a seat that’s just 16.8 inches wide with 31″ of pitch.
Air Caraibes A350 900 Soleil Economy Class Onboard IFE Screen System
Airbus was able to fit the ‘extra’ seat in the middle row, making it 10-abreast, by reducing the width of the armrests and slightly reducing the width of the aisle.

Air Caraibes Fleet Airbus A350-1000 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Air Caraibes operates 3 extra wide body Airbus A350-1000.
Air Caraïbes (a member airline of Groupe Dubreuil) has taken delivery of its first A350-1000 (Dec 19, 2019), the largest member of Airbus’ new-generation A350 XWB Family, making it the first French operator of the type.
The airline plans to operate its A350-1000s alongside its three A350-900s and six A330s on routes from Paris to the French Caribbean.
The new aircraft will seamlessly integrate into Air Caraïbes existing fleet thanks to Airbus’ unique fleet commonality and provide the airline with additional flexibility.
