Cebu Pacific took delivery of their first A320neo around 2019, and the airline has been using it to fly on longer international routes, with destinations including Tokyo and Singapore.
Cebu Pacific is actually the first carrier in the world to utilize Airbus’ “Ultra High Density” configuration.
The A320neo had a total of 194 seats, up from the 180 you would normally find on Cebu Pacific’s current A320-200 (CEO/Current Engine Option) aircraft.
For A320neo, Cebu Pacific chose the Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines and they are noticeably more quiet than the CFM-powered A320-200s.

Cebu Pacific fleet Airbus A320neo configured with 194 seats, there’s only economy class with no “extra legroom” or “premium” seats.
The legroom in this “ultra high density” configuration is nonexistent.
Called the Space Flex V2, the configuration adds three more rows of seats to the A320’s cabin.
At the front, the configuration has a new 2+2 row and at the back a regular 3+3 row and another 2+2 row.
The solution to getting more space inside the cabin is creative and attractive for the airlines, but not so much for the passengers – and the flight attendants who work on the plane.
According to reports, flight attendants complain about the lack of space to work on the plane and passengers criticize the bathrooms with too thin walls.
