There are 18 seats in Business Class which Brussels Airlines refers to as b.business, and 150 seats in Economy Class.

While most routes are short-haul, this aircraft is also used on medium-haul flights to Tel-Aviv.

Second version A320-200 aircraft seats 180 passengers however, only 174 seats are bookable since the middle seats in Business are blocked off by Brussels Airlines to provide additional space.

There are 12 Business Class seats and 162 Economy Class seats.

Class configurations for this aircraft vary by flight.

The standard version of this aircraft has 3 rows of Brussel’s Business Class, b.business, however, the b.business cabin may vary from one row to all 29 rows.

Middle seats are always left empty in b.business.

When the aircraft does not operate entirely as b.business, Brussels Airlines offers two types of economy seating: b.flex economy+ and b.light economy.

The standard configuration for economy seating is five rows of b.flex economy+ with the rest of the cabin set as b.light economy. b.flex economy+ will usually have the middle seat empty, subject to demand.

Regardless of configuration, all seats are physically identical on this aircraft.

First version is the most common among two version of Airbus A320 in the fleet of Brussels Airlines.

This airplane is mostly used during short-haul flights and also for medium-haul flight to Tel Aviv.

This airplane offers seats of two classes: business and economy.

Business class may accommodate up to 18 passengers.

The seats of the business class are located in the first 3 rows and have 3-3 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 1st row will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

These seats are considered the best seats.

However, close location of the lavatory and galleys may cause some discomfort.

On some routes to provide additional comfort to passengers of business class middle seats are blocked.

Economy class may accommodate 150 passengers.

All the seats of economy class have 3-3 configuration.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 10th row are not reclining.

Location of the seats of the 11th row between two exit rows on the one hand provides these seats with extra legroom but on the other – these seats do not recline and a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The best seats of the economy class are considered the seats of the 12th row.

Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom and of fully reclined seats.

The pitch of these seats is 33 inches. Among disadvantages: reduced width of the seats and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats of the 28th row are considered bad seats because these seats have limited recline and are located close to the lavatories and galley.

This version of Brussels Airlines may accommodate 174 passengers in two classes.

There are totally 12 seats hear per 4 in each.

Middle, B seats are blocked to provide more space to passengers of business class.

Thanks to position of the bulkhead passengers of the seats of the 1st row will take advantage of extra legroom.

But location of the lavatory and galley in front and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing may be bothersome.

For passengers of economy class 162 seats are offered.

The seats of the business class and economy class are divided from each other with a curtain divider that may cause some discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 4th row.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Location of the exit row behind limits recline of the seats of the 10th row.

Exit row in front of the seats of the 11th row provides these seats with additional legroom.

However, these seats are less reclining and narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats of the 12th row are considered the best seats of the economy class.

Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs.

Among disadvantages: no floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width because the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable.

Missing windows make the seats 29A and 29F bad seats.

The only disadvantage of the seats 29C and 29D is close location of the lavatory and galley.

Such disadvantages as noise from the lavatory and galley located behind and limited recline make the seats of the last 30th row bad seats.
