LATAM Fleet Boeing 777-300ER Details and Pictures. On current fleet, LATAM operates 10 wide-body aircraft Boeing 777-300ER for long-haul international flights.

The LATAM Boeing 777-300ER is the largest aircraft in the airline’s fleet.

LATAM uses its Boeing 777-300ER on routes from Sao Paulo to Miami, Frankfurt, London, and Madrid.

At the moment LATAM’s high-density business class product is pretty archaic when compared to other airline offerings, and as such is shunned by many business travelers.

Configured in a 2-3-2 layout the seats did not offer direct aisle access for all.

The seats were also unable to recline fully, unlike LATAM’s competitors.

LATAM has now addressed these two major concerns by retrofitting the jets with new Thompson Vantage XL seats configured in a 1-2-1 layout.

The new seats all have direct aisle access and are capable of reclining 180 degrees into a fully-flat bed.

To ensure passengers get a good night’s rest LATAM is introducing new premium pillows and bedding with temperature regulating mattresses that come with pressure-point technology.

Enhancing the seats with a new color and fabric also brings them up to date, as does the modern 18-inch Panasonic entertainment screen.

LATAM Fleet Boeing 777-300ER Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

The aircraft is configured with 38 Thompson Vantage XL open suites offering many entertainment amenities, personal privacy and direct access to the aisle.

Economy Class is configured with 376 standard seats including LATAM+, Front Row, and Exit Row seats featuring additional legroom plus priority boarding (available for selection for an additional fee).

In LATAM’s business class, dubbed “Premium Business,” the airline had evolved from its previous high-density configuration to a more modern layout.

Previously, the Triple Seven was very much dismissed by business class customers owing to two major issues.

First, the seats were allocated in a 2-3-2 configuration, which granted no direct aisle-access unless sitting in an aisle seat.

Second, the seats were not capable of reclining to a full lie-flat position.

The retrofit with new Thompson Vantage XL seats addressed these two problems, solving them entirely with a new 1-2-1 configuration and fully lie-flat seats.

Standard aisle and window seats line the cabin wall with two types of seats, honeymoon and aisle seats, dominating the center aisle.

The fabric and color of the seats were also changed to a more modern template and the personal entertainment systems were also refreshed to a current, up-to-date model.

The new cabin, with full aisle access and full-flat seats, is also a part of this rest-focused renovation of the cabin.

Now, passengers will no longer need to bother – or to be bothered by – other customers when leaving their seats.

The privacy afforded by these seats is crucial to acquiring rest on long-haul flights when sleep is paramount.

In economy class, the airline maintained the 3-4-3 configuration that’s standard on the Boeing 777, but revamped the seat designs.

The new seats feature a new red and blue gradient design, more representative of the airline’s colors, set into the fabric.

The personal entertainment system was also changed to provide a more modernized offering.

The size of the screens, though, wasn’t changed in order to save money in the retrofit process.

In the economy cabin, however, the biggest change is the addition of the “LATAM+” seats.

This concept is already used on domestic flights and will serve, in the 777, as an enhanced economy class though not at the level of a full-fledged premium economy class, which the airline has opted against.

The benefits of LATAM+ will include more legroom and boarding priority while seat width and layout will remain the same.

LATAM Fleet Boeing 767-300ER Details and Pictures. On current fleet, LATAM operates 42 wide-body aircraft Boeing 767-300ER.

Besides the passenger variant (767-300ER), LATAM also operates cargo/freighter version of this aircraft (767-300F).

LATAM’s 767-300ER aircraft are used on heavily traveled routes between the US and South American destinations.

There are two classes offered (premium business and economy).

The 767-300ER, the extended-range version of the 767-300, entered service with American Airlines in 1988.

The type’s increased range was made possible by greater fuel tankage and a higher MTOW of 407,000 lb (185,000 kg).

Design improvements allowed the available MTOW to increase to 412,000 lb (187,000 kg) by 1993.

Power is provided by Pratt & Whitney PW4000, General Electric CF6, or Rolls-Royce RB211 engines.

The 767-300ER comes in three exit configurations: the baseline configuration has four main cabin doors and four over-wing window exits, the second configuration has six main cabin doors and two over-wing window exits; and the third configuration has six main cabin doors, as well as two smaller doors that are located behind the wings.

LATAM Fleet Airbus A350-900 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

LATAM Airlines A350-900 is configured with 30 Premium Business Class seats that transform into fully flat beds and 309 standard Economy Class seats.

Economy Class seats with additional legroom are available for selection for an additional fee.

The 72 additional legroom seats are categorized as LATAM+, Front Row and Exit Row seating.

The aircraft cabin was designed to be wider across to offer passengers a roomier and comfortable experience via greater seat width.

The 2-2-2 layout on business class offers a fully flat bed which is 74″ in length and LATAM are testing out mattress pads that go on top of the seat which really aid sleep.

The width is comfortable and allows for a restful experience on long and overnight flights.

The length is fine for those under 6 foot, but if you are taller you will have to sleep on the diagonal or with your knees slightly bent.

The 2-2-2 layout unfortunately means that if you choose a window seat you have to step over your neighbour to get in and out of your seat.

This is not so bad for the person in the window seat but can be a pain for the side-aisle seats.

Every business class passenger gets a personal touchscreen (Panasonic eX3) and a remote in the armrest to control it.

Every business class passenger gets a personal touchscreen and a remote in the armrest to control it.

In fact the touchscreen is so far in front of you, that using the hand held controller is a lot easier than touching the screen.

There is a wide selection of movies, plus box sets of TV show including Game of Thrones as well as various travel shows.

The headphones on offer are good quality and noise cancelling.

On board the A350 you also will notice flatter more upright walls, larger windows and restful mood lighting.

Because of the 2-2-2 layout, you will want to avoid the side-aisle seats as people in the window seats will have to climb over or around you to get in and out of their seat, so the best seats are either the middle pair or the window seat if you prefer a view.

LATAM’s A350-900 economy class was set up in a 3-3-3 configuration.

The economy cabin was divided into two sections separated by a few lavatories in the middle.

There were 18 Economy Space+ seats in the economy cabin in bulkhead rows, featuring much more legroom than the 300 standard coach seats.

The cabin and seats reflected LATAM’s blue-and-red color scheme, and the seats were padded enough for me to sleep on the 10-hour flight.

The seatback had a tiny cup holder that flipped out from the back of tray table.

There were two universal AC outlets in every row and a USB outlet below each IFE screen.

LATAM Fleet Airbus A319-100 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, LATAM Airlines Group operates 46 narrow-body aircraft Airbus 319-100 for short-medium flights.

The A319 – a shortened-fuselage member of Airbus’ A320 Family – continues to prove its versatility by providing a range of seating options, from the 110-seat configuration to a capacity of up to 160.

The A319 has the same optimised cabin cross-section as its fellow A320 Family members (A318, A320 and A321) – which is the widest single-aisle fuselage on the market.

This allows for top-of-the-range comfort with generous seat width, or an extra-wide aisle for fast turnarounds.
