Icelandair Fleet Boeing 767-300ER Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Icelandair operates 4 wide-body aircraft Boeing 767-300ER for long-haul flights.

Icelandair’s 767-300ER aircraft are used on heavily traveled routes between Iceland and North America.

These aircraft are larger than the 757s, and their greater seating capacity and extended flight range make them ideally suited for non-stop long-haul flights.

Icelandair’s 767s have 259 seats, arranged 2-3-2 in Economy and 2-1-2 in Saga Premium.

The cruising speed is 851 km/h (530 mph), and their flight range of up to 7,890 km (4,900 mi) makes them the first choice for long-haul routes.

In addition to the in-flight entertainment, gate-to-gate Wi-Fi access and complimentary beverages, Icelandair passengers can join the Saga Club loyalty programme for added benefits.

The Boeing 767 is a medium-to-large wide-body twinjet aircraft that was originally conceived as a smaller alternative to earlier makes such as the 747.

It was the first twinjet to be approved for extended overseas flights, and its impressive flight range has enabled the expansion of services on intercontinental routes.

767s are produced in three lengths, with the Boeing 767-300 ER longer than the original model by 6.43 m (21’).

Icelandair’s Boeing 767-300ER Premium Saga Business class features 25 seats, spread over five rows in a 2-1-2 configuration.

Seats are really more like premium economy class seats, recline is very limited and legroom is sufficient, but not generous.

In short, the seat is like a domestic first class seat in the USA or Australia or a premium economy seat on British Airways.

Icelandair’s business class, which the carrier calls Saga Class, is nowhere near the level of luxury you’d find on other international business-class products.

Each Saga Class seat has 40 inches of pitch and is 20 inches wide.

Icelandair Boeing 767-300ER configured with 234 standard seats on economy class.

Economy seats have 32 inches of pitch and are 17 inches wide.

There were four bathrooms for economy passengers to use, two located in the middle and two in the back.

There were no AC power outlets in economy, though they were available in economy comfort and business class.

In coach, all you got was a USB port.

airBaltic Fleet Boeing 737-500 Details and Pictures. Currently, airBaltic operates 2 narrow-body aircraft Boeing 737-500. This aircraft shares similar configuration with the Boeing 737-300. airBaltic also plan to retire this aircraft this year.

The -500 series was the smallest dimensions of the 737 Classic series. The -500 was offered, due to customer demand, as a modern and direct replacement of the 737-200, incorporating the improvements of the 737 Classic series in a model that allowed longer routes with fewer passengers to be more economical than with the 737-300.

Though smaller than the -300 and -400, the fuselage length of the -500 is 1 ft 7 in (48 cm) longer than the 737-200, accommodating up to 140 passengers.

Both glass and older style mechanical cockpits arrangements were available. Using the CFM56-3 engine also gave a 25% increase in fuel efficiency over the older -200s P&W engines.

Row one is technically classified as an emergency exit row on the Boeing 737, although it has a bulkhead in front of it.

There are three seats on either side of the aisle, however, the middle seat folds down to make a table for drinks.

Overall, a tiny bit more legroom would have been nice, as my feet naturally wanted to rest where the bulkhead was.

That being said, there was much more legroom than a typical economy seat would have.

The airBaltic business cabin had a slightly odd layout. The curtain dividing business and economy was placed in between rows three and four.
