Alitalia Fleet Airbus A321-100 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Alitalia operated 12 narrow-body aircraft Airbus A321-100.

The Airbus A321-100 in the Alitalia fleet are used on short and medium-haul flights.

These planes cruise at a speed of 460 kts and have a range of 1500nm.

This aircraft is largest model from A320 family (A318, A319, A320).

Alitalia flies two versions of this aircraft: a single class version with all Economy Class seats, including Economy Class Comfort seats which may be reserved for an additional fee, and a two class version with both Economy and Business Class seats.

First version plane flies solely with 200 seats of Economy Class.

Second plane is the two class version and it flies with 28 seats of Business Class and 158 seats of Economy Class, however, depending on the flight Business Class seating is flexible.

The separation between Business and Economy Class is with a sliding partition and though seating is the same throughout the plane, the middle seat is blocked in Business Class.

One class version of Airbus A321-100 is the most common in Alitalia.

This version may transport 200 passengers.

The seats are divided into three sections.

First section includes 8 rows of seats that have 3-3 configuration.

The seats of the 1st row have such disadvantages as: proximity of the lavatory and galley, limited recline, reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 8th row may be less reclining.

Behind the exit row the second section of seats is located.

There are 13 rows of seats here.

The seats of the 9th row as well as the seat 10D are considered the best seats on the airplane as they offer extra legroom.

At the same time these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

For passengers traveling with a companion will be ideal the seats 23BC and 23DE.

However these seats may have limited recline.

The third section of the seats are located behind another exit row.

Passengers of the seats of the 24th row and of the seat 25D will feel comfortable thanks to the extra space for their legs.

Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable, the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Proximity of the lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 25C and 35D.

Limited storage space in overhead bins, close location to the lavatories and limited recline make the seats of the last 36th row bad seats.

The second version of Airbus A321 operated by Alitalia includes 28 seats of business class and 158 seats of economy class.

Business class seats are located in 7 rows per 4 seats in each.

The middle seats are not sold providing more privacy to passengers of business class.

Because of the bulkhead position the seats of the 1st row have less legroom.

As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

The noise from the galley and lavatories is another disadvantage of these seats.

There is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing.

Economy class is divided from the seats of business class with a curtain that may be bothersome for passengers of the seats of the 8th row.

Also these seats have limited recline because of the exit row located behind.

The seats of the 9th row as well as the seat 10D are good seats as they have extra legroom.

However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are narrower than standard.

For passengers traveling with a partner will be perfect the seats of the seats of the 23rd row.

But these seats are less reclining than standard.

Extra space for passengers’ legs makes the seats of the 24th row and the seat 25D good seats.

Among disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats.

The only disadvantage of the seats 35C and 35D is proximity of the lavatories.

The seats of the last 36th row are considered bad seats because of the close location of the lavatories, limited recline of the seats and reduced storage in overhead bins.

The seats of the 10th row may be less reclining as an exit row is located behind.

As the seats of the 11th row are located between two exit rows, passengers of these seats on the one hand will have extra legroom, but on another these seats have limited recline, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and as the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

The best seats on this airplane are considered the seats of the 12th row as they offer extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 29C and 29D while waiting to use lavatories and causing inconvenience to passengers of these seats.

Proximity of the lavatories may also represent a problem to passengers of the seats of the last 30th row.

Aer Lingus Fleet Boeing 757-200 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Aer Lingus flies the 757-200 with 12 Business Class seats and 165 Economy Class seats for a total of 177 pax.

On this narrow-body aircraft, there are only 12 business class seats.

Each seat is fully lie-flat.

The seats are 22 inches wide, 60 inches in pitch, and 78 inches in bed length.

The seats themselves are a Thompson Vantage XL seat.

If you’re sitting in rows 1 and 3, you’ll have a much better experience than those seated at rows 2 and 4, due to the additional privacy.

You also won’t need to walk over anyone when getting up from your seat to use the lavatories.

The best business class seats on the Aer Lingus 757 are 3A and 3F because 1A and 1F are too close to the lavatory and may be noisy.

Each of the 165 economy seats are 18 inches wide and 31 inches in pitch, with each row featuring a 3-3 configuration.

The best seats in economy are typically located in exit rows due to the extra legroom afforded to passengers seated there.

In this case, the exit rows are located at rows 7 and 24. Row 24 is less than ideal due to the close proximity to the lavatories.

Furthermore, the exit row protrusion at 7A and 7F will restrict leg movement for those seats.

As a result, the best seats are 7B/C and 7D/E.

You’ll have more legroom and be located at the front of the plane, which can go a long way in making your economy flight more enjoyable.

Before the first exit row 2 first rows of economy class seats are located.

These seats have 3-3 configuration and are marked by Aer Lingus as Choice seats.

Due to position of the bulkhead the legroom of the seats of the 5th row is restricted.

Among other disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced seat width.

Missing windows make the seats 6A and 6F bad seats.

Behind the exit row 17 more rows of economy class seats are located.

16 rows have 3-3 configuration and the last row of the section contains just 3 seats.

The seats of the rows 7-10 are the seats that are marked by Aer Lingus as Choice seats.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 7th row offer extra legroom.

The seats 7BC and 7DE are considered the best seats of the section.

All the seats of the 7th row have the following disadvantages: reduced width because the video monitors and tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

One more disadvantage of the seats 7A and 7F is protrusion of the exit doors inside.

Congregation of passengers in the area of the seats of the 22nd-23rd rows while waiting to use lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

The last section of economy class seats contains 9 rows of seats that have 3-3 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 24th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are a little narrower than standard.

Protrusion of the exit doors is another disadvantage of the seats 24A and 24F.

Because of limited recline the seats of the 32nd row are considered bad seats.

Aer Lingus Fleet Airbus A330-300 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

This A330-300 features a two class configuration with 30 flat bed Business Class seats and 287 standard Economy Class seats.

The seats on the A330-300 are identical in size to the A330-200, 21 inches wide and 58 inches in pitch.

The main difference is that instead of 23 business class seats on the A330-200, there are 30 business class seats on the A330-300, an increase of 30%.

Aer Lingus’ A330-300 has 287 economy seats, whereas their A330-200 has 243.

The 2-4-2 configuration remains the same, the positioning of the lavatories and galleys is the main difference.

The best seats in this layout are in rows 8 and 30.

Fortunately, there are no lavatories near row 8 and the lavatories nearby row 30 are significantly further from the seats than normal.

This Airbus A330-300 airplane may transport 317 passengers in two classes: business and economy.

There are 30 flat bed seats in the business class.

There are only three seats in the first row.

Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats 9DEFG as they have bassinet locations.

Because of the bulkhead position these seats may have limited legroom.

Among other disadvantages: proximity of the galley, reduced width of the seats and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 13A, 13K and 26A, 26K are missing windows.

Close location of the lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 26AC, 26HK, D and G seats of the rows 27-28 and of the seats of the 29th row.

Behind the exit row 17 rows of second sections of economy class seats are located.

Passengers of the seats 30AC and 30HK will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs.

But other passengers tend to gather in this area while waiting to use lavatories and causing inconvenience to passengers of these seats.

As the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

The other seats of the 30th row, i.e. the seats 30DEFG have the same disadvantages.

Also these seats have limited legroom because of the position of the bulkhead.

As these seats have bassinet locations, passengers with babies are often seated here.

Other passengers and crew members passing by tend to bump into the seats 41D and 41G due to transition of seats from 4 to 3.

For the same reason the seats 42DEG have limited legroom.

The noise that is coming from the galleys and lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 45AC, 45D, 45G, 45HK and 46DEG.
