Hong Kong Airlines Fleet Airbus A330-300 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout
Hong Kong Airlines flies their wide-body aircraft A330-300 with 2 different cabin layout, both layout configured with 2 class (business and economy).
First cabin layout (33S) with two-class configuration has 30 Business Class seats and 255 Economy Class seats.
The Business Class seating on this version is configured in a 2-2-2 arrangement with seats that transform into fully-flat although slightly angled beds.
Second cabin layout (333) with two-class configuration has 32 Business Class seats and 260 Economy Class seats.
The Business Class seating on this version is configured in a 1-2-1 arrangement with seats that transform into fully-flat beds.
Extra Legroom Seats offering additional legroom in Economy Class may be selected for an additional fee.
The cabin set up in a 1-2-1 configuration is the same style of seats that you’ll find on THAI’s 777-300ER aircraft.
There was a generous amount of legroom, but not much space for storing personal items.
The side table was more adequate, with space for a drink and other small personal items.
A personal spotlight at shoulder level offered two levels of brightness, and was located next to the in-flight magazine holder.
The work/dining table was stored vertically in the seatback panel in front, and was very solid and balanced, while an international socket is conveniently situated under the armrest.
However, the highlight has to be the built-in seat massage function – a rare treat.
The aircraft’s economy class consisted of 260 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration (2-3-2 in the very back of the plane) spread across two cabins.
The red seats were quite comfortable and provided more than enough legroom for the fairly short flight.
