The airplane may contain 51 premium seats and 138 economy class seats.

All these seats are not reclining.

The seats of the first 5 rows are designated by Ryanair as premium seats.

Passengers of the seats 1ABC will take advantage of extra space for passengers’ legs.

In front of these seats the seats of crew members are located.

Among disadvantage of these seats: reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Also the exit door that protrudes inside may limited extra legroom a little.

Thanks to the position of the bulkhead provides extra legroom to passengers of the seats 2DEF.

However, the noise that is coming from the galley may cause inconvenience.

Also these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats of the rows 6-15 are the seats of economy class.

The seat 11A is considered bad seat as it has no window.

Behind the exit row two rows of premium class seats are located.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the rows 16-17 offer extra legroom.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 16A, 16F and 17A, 17F have no window-side armrests.

The seats of the rows 18-31 are standard economy class seats.

The last 2 rows of seats, i.e. the seats of the rows 32-33 are designated as premium seats.

Proximity of the lavatories and lack of overhead storage bins make the seats of the last 33rd row bad seats.

Free assigned seats for children

When travelling with children it is now mandatory for adults to have a reserved seat.

However you get free reserved seats for up to 4 children between 2 and 12 years old with every adult seat booked.

This means you don’t need to worry about being separated on board.

How Ryanair Baggage Policy Works in 2019?

You can take one “small personal bag” into the cabin, as long as it fits under the seat in front.

Ryanair defines a small personal bag as 40cm x 20cm x 25cm.

Ryanair Priority Boarding costs between £6 and £10. With Priority Booking, you’re also permitted to bring an additional 10kg bag (55cm x 40cm x 20cm) into the cabin for no extra cost.

However, be aware that Ryanair Priority Boarding is capped at 95 out of 189 passengers per flight for space reasons.

The alternative is to pay between £10 and £12 to have this extra 10kg bag checked in to the hold.

There’s no public announcement on why the cost fluctuates, but when we reached out to Ryanair, they simply said that “the fee will depend on the flight date and route.”

Larger checked-in luggage (20kg) will still cost £25 per bag at the time of booking, or £40 post-booking.

There are a few exceptions to the policy.

These include:

  • Duty Free purchases, which can be brought into the cabin along with your hand luggage.
  • A baby changing bag up to 5kg.
  • Medical items, providing you’ve contacted Ryanair’s special assistance line in advance.
  • If you have reduced mobility and have pre-booked airport special assistance, you will be able to carry both pieces of your cabin baggage into the cabin with you.
