The beer is made with Pacific Northwest hops and European malts.

Passengers looking to try this beer can find it on the 737 MAX 8 and and in the Icelandair Saga Lounge at Keflavik International airport for a limited time.

Based on Boeing 737 NG, the best-selling aircraft of all time, Boeing 737 MAX is a twin-engine airliner that brings together impressive performance parameters and comfortable flying experience.

Taking one step further in operation of trans-Atlantic flights the 737 MAX family comprises of 4 models aimed at lowering per-seat costs with an emphasis on environmentally friendly air travel.

Both Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Boeing 737 MAX 9 are now in commercial service with a maximum cruise speed of 839 km/h (521 mph) and flight range up to 6,510 km (4,045 mi).

Icelandair’s Boeing 737 MAX-8 planes, grounded last year after two crashes involving the same model in Ethiopia and Indonesia, will be flown to France for storage this week.

The five MAX-8 planes will be kept in Toulouse, France, in order to protect them from wear and tear caused by harsher weather conditions at Keflavík Airport.

Icelandair Fleet Boeing 737 MAX 8 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Icelandair Boeing 737 MAX aircraft is configured with 16 Saga Class seats and 144 Economy Class seats.

Saga Class is Icelandair’s Business Class cabin.

Passengers flying Saga Class enjoy good working space and Icelandair lounge access in Iceland and other countries.

Economy Class is the lowest fare class.

A choice of a seat selection is offered when booking a ticket. Soft drinks and access to the new in-flight entertainment system are complimentary.

The overhead bins on the MAX 8 are absolutely cavernous, especially compared to those on the 757s.

While equipped with the widely-anticipated Viasat WiFi , Icelandair’s systems are still awaiting certification, so the fast satellite service will have to wait until a future review.

Airline officials said they anticipate receiving that certification this spring.

Icelandair’s MAX 8 Saga Premium is a solid product – relatively spacious, comfortable, with good food and good service.

It doesn’t pretend to be anything other than exactly what it is, which is both refreshing and very Icelandic.

Boeing were firmly set on the passenger experience when redesigning their aircraft.

With the aid of sociologists, psychologists and of course passengers themselves, the new Boeing Sky Interior was born.

The interior design focuses on the wellbeing and pleasure of the passenger in flight with the addition of newly designed windows for better viewing.

Ambient LED lighting and new overhead compartments also contribute to a feeling of more space on board.
