The lower deck contains the seats of economy class that are divided into 4 sections.

Most of the seats here have 3-4-3 configuration.

Economy class may accommodate 461 passengers.

First section of economy class seats contains 10 rows with totally 84 seats.

Passengers of the seats of the 40th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

But location of the galley and lavatory in front may cause some discomfort.

Because of the bulkhead position the seats 43 DEFG have limited legroom.

The noise from the lavatories located behind may represent problem for passengers of the seats 48C, 48 DEFG, 48H and for passengers of the seats 49ABC and 49HJK.

Limited recline is another disadvantage of the seats 48DEFG, 49ABC and 49HJK.

The second section of economy class seats contains 13 rows.

There are totally 126 seats here.

The seats of the 50th row have limited legroom because of the position of the bulkhead.

Proximity of the galleys is another disadvantage.

Limited recline and location of the lavatories behind are the main disadvantages of the seats 61DEFG, 62ABC and 62HJK.

Behind the exit row the third section of economy class seats is located.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 63rd rowhave extra legroom.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of these seats in order to visit lavatories causing discomfort to passengers.

The best seat is considered the seat 68D. As there is no seat in front, the legroom space is larger.

However, there is no floor storage for this seat during take-off and landing and the width is slightly reduced as TV and tray table are in the armrests making them immovable.

Proximity of the galleys may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of the 73rd and 74th rows (except the seats 73D and 73G).

Another disadvantage of the seats 73ABC, 73 HJK and 74DEFG is limited recline.

The fourth section of economy class seats is located behind another exit row.

The seats 75ABC and 75HJK offer extra legroom.

At the same time close location of the galleys may be bothersome.

Restricted space for passengers’ legs and location of the galleys in front are the main disadvantages of the seats 76DEFG.

Passenger tend to congregate in the area of the seats 82C, 82 DEFG, 82H and of the seats of the 83th row while waiting to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Limited recline makes the seats 82DEFG, 83 ABC and 83HJK bad seats.

The upper deck of Airbus A380 contains seats of all three classes.

The upper deck begins with 8 open suits of the first class that have 180 degree recline.

Behind these seats 48 flat bed seats of the business class are located.

Business class seats have 180 degree recline as well.

There are totally 12 rows of seats here that have 1-2-1 configuration.

Location of the lavatories and galley in front may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 10th row.

Close location of the lavatories is also disadvantage of the seats of the 22nd row.

Behind the exit row and premium lounge the seats of economy class are located.

These seats are located in two sections separated from each other with exit row.

First section contains 5 rows of seats: 4 of them have 2-4-2 configuration and 1 row with 4 seats.

Because of the bulkhead position the seats of the 25th row have limited legroom.

Limited recline is the main disadvantage of the seats 29DEFG.

Second section of economy class seats consists of 3 rows of seats that have 20 rows of seats.

Due to the exit row located in front, the seats of the 30th row offer extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Location of the galley and lavatories behind is the main disadvantage of the seats of the 31st-32nd rows.

Qatar Airways Fleet Airbus A350-1000 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Qatar Airways operates this Airbus A350-1000 with their Qsuite product on a variety of long-haul destinations.

Qsuite offers ambient mood lighting, fully lie-flat beds and generous storage space, creating a new standard in comfort.

A unique feature of Qatar’s Qsuite is their first-ever cabin to offer aft and forward-facing seats, which creates a quad cabin.

Built into these seats are movable panels that allow passengers to transform the space into a social area, allowing you to work, dine or socialise at 40,000 feet.

When you are done socializing, you are able to put the panels back up and transform the quad space into your own private room.

The Q Suite setup is very different from normal business class cabins.

On the A350-900 there are 36 Q Suite seats, while on this A350-1000 there are 46.

The A350-1000 contains two business class cabins, a main cabin with nine rows at the side and ten rows in the middle, all in a 1-2-1 configuration making 38 seats and then a second, smaller cabin of just eight seats.

The seats are also forward- then backward-facing, like many train seats.

So the front row, row 1, has four backward-facing seats, and then row 2 has four forward-facing seats.

For the centre seats, that means they can make a four (the flight attendants call it a “quad”) if the central divider is dropped between the seats and then the fore and aft divider is operated.

The centre divider is operated by a catch by the passenger, but the fore and aft divider is operated by the flight attendants.

In addition, each seat has a sliding door that is locked open via a device similar to an Allen key for take-off and landing, and then is released for the rest of the flight.

With the door open, the facing seats allow you a good look at the person in front of you, but only at the start and end of the flight.

The seat has a type of shelf next to it that can be raised to become a large armrest, or lowered so it gives you more room around the shoulders.

The lid of this lifts up, and inside is storage space with a bottle of water and the noise-cancelling headphones.

At the seat is also the Brics amenity kit and a pillow with a message on it – The Sky is a Wonderful Place to be.

There is a large touchscreen IFE that is close enough to operate, and a further handset recessed into the side of the seat.

The seat reclines so that your feet meet the footrest beneath the IFE screen.

The seat also allows for you to rest your feet on the floor even when the seat is reclined, which adds to the different options.

There are numerous seat controls and pre-sets for controlling it.

A forward-facing window seat will suit individual travellers, but bear in mind that the overhead lockers are above you, so when someone opens them you have to be careful not to bang your head.

If you have a backward-facing window seat, then you are closer to the aisle because of the staggered nature of the seating – not a deal breaker, but less good.

Centre seats will also suit individual travellers, but make sure you have a forward-facing one such as D or G.

These share the disadvantage of being closer to the aisle, but they have the centre console between you and the person sitting in the other centre seat, which is preferable if you don’t know them.

If you are travelling with them, then perhaps go for the ones closer together (E and F for instance); and if you are partners, those are the ones you want since the backward-facing centre seats are the only ones that can be made into a double bed.

Business class may accommodate 46 passengers.

All passengers of business class will feel comfortable thanks to closed suites that have 180 degrees recline.

For passengers that are travelling with a companion (friend, family, colleague) are ideal for EF and DG seats.

The noise from lavatories and galley located in front may cause some disadvantage to passengers of the seats 1E and 1F as well as for passengers of the seats 9A, 9K and 10DG that are located in the end of the section.

Behind exit row 2 more rows of business class seats are located.

Location of the galley and lavatory area in front may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 11th row.

281 seats of the economy class are located in two sections separated from each other with an exit row.

First section consists of 14 rows of seats.

13 rows have 3-3-3 configuration and the first row of the section has 2-3-2 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 16th row may take advantage of extra but at the same time stretch restrictive legroom because of the bulkhead located in front.

As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of this seats is reduced a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Due to lack of the seats in front passengers of the seats 17C and 17H will feel comfortable thanks to additional legroom.

However, these seats are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

Among other disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and slightly reduced seat width.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 29th row is proximity of the lavatory and galley area.

Second section of economy class consists of 19 rows.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 30th row offer additional legroom and personal space to passengers.

Tray tables and TV displays built-in the armrests make them immovable and reduce the width of these seats a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing. Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of these seats causing discomfort to passengers.

The seats 31A and 31K are considered the best seats of economy class.

Passengers of these seats will take advantage of additional legroom because there are no seats in front.

At the same time the width of these seats is slightly reduced and there is no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Close location to the lavatories and galleys is the only disadvantage of the seats 31C and 31H.

Additional but stretch restrictive legroom will provide some comfort to passengers of the seats 32DEF.

However, a little reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing may be bothersome.

The main disadvantage of the seats 47D and 47F is location of the galleys and lavatories behind.

The seats 47ABC, 47HJK and 48DEF located in the last row of the airplane, location of the lavatories and galleys behind make these seats bad seats.

Qatar Airways Fleet Airbus A350-900 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Qatar Airways operates the Airbus A350-900 on a variety of long-haul flights. This aircraft is configured with only two classes of service where all Business Class seats feature 180 degree recline.

This aircraft flies with 36 seats in Business Class and 247 seats in Economy.

Qatar Airways’ A350-900s will feature 36 Qsuites in business class, which means they’re maintaining the capacity of 36 business class seats, as that’s the same number of seats they have right now (as a matter of fact, capacity on the entire plane is staying flat).

While many airlines reduce the size of business class cabins as they introduce new cabins, that’s not the case at Qatar Airways, as they’re introducing business class cabins that are at least as large as they used to be.

The Qatar Airways A350-900 Business Class cabin has 36 seats set out across 9 rows in a 1-2-1 layout, so all seats offer direct access to the aisle.

The middle seats don’t get quite the same level of privacy as the ones by the window.

If you’re traveling solo, pick a window.

If you’re traveling with someone, pick a middle seat, however, you’ll be separated by a divider.

While there is no overhead storage above the middle seats, so everyone stores their luggage above the window seats.

Each seat has more than enough personal spaces and extra legroom that you won’t find on the A330 or A340.

The A350 business class comes with plenty of luxurious amenities.

Guests get an amenity kit by Castello Monte Vibiano Collection containing a hydrating facial mist, moisturizer, lip balm, face mask, socks, and earplugs.

Business class may accommodate 36 passengers on flat bed seats. These seats are located in 9 rows: 6 of which are located in the first section and 3 rows in the second section.

The seats in business class have 1-2-1 configuration. The only disadvantage of the seats of the 1st row is close location of the galley. Close location of the bar and lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 6th row.

All business class seats of the second section are standard.

Economy class contains 247 standard seats. These seats are also divided into two sections separated from each other with exit row. Most of the seats of the economy class have 3-3-3 configuration.

First section contains 14 rows of seats. Due to bulkhead position the seats 16AC and 16HK have limited space for passengers’ legs. Among other disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

Passengers of the seats 17C, 17DEF and 17H will take advantage of extra legroom. However, these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The noise from the galleys and lavatories located behind will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 29th row.

There are 126 seats in the second section of economy class. Thanks to the exit row in front the seats 30ABC and 30HJK offer extra space for passengers’ legs. But as other passengers tend to gather in this area while waiting to use lavatories it may cause inconvenience to passengers of these seats. Also the tray tables are in the armrests of these seats making them immovable and thus reducing the width of these seats. Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

Location of the galley in front, reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing are the main disadvantages of the seats 31DEF.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the rows 43-44 (except the seat 43E) is proximity of the galleys and lavatories.

First 2 rows of seats are the seats of first class that have 1-2-1 configuration.

These seats are flat-bed seats with 180 degree recline.

Location of the lavatories in front may be bothersome for passengers of the seats of the 1st row.

Business class consists of 7 rows of seats per 6 in each.

So, there are totally 42 angle-flat seats her that have 165 degree recline.

All these seats are the same only proximity of the lavatory and galley may represent a problem for passengers of the seats of the 9th row.

It is the last row in the business class.

Economy class may transport 260 passengers.

The main disadvantage of A, D, G and K seats of the economy class is restricted under seat storage and legroom due to presence of entertainment equipment here.

The seats of the economy class are divided into two sections.

First section has 20 rows of seats that have 2-4-2 configuration.

The bulkhead position provides passengers of the seats of the 10th row with additional space for their legs.

Among disadvantages of these seats: noise from the galleys and lavatories located in front, reduced width of the seats as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

For passengers with babies the seats 10DEFG offer bassinet locations.

The only disadvantage of the seats 18A and 18K are misaligned windows.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 28B, 28D, 28G, 28J and of the seats of the 29th row while waiting to use lavatories causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Limited recline is another disadvantage the seats of the 29th row.

Second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row.

There are 13 rows of seats here with totally 96 seats.

Thanks to the exit row located in front passengers of the seats of the 30th row will feel comfortable as they provide extra legroom.

But these seats are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the lavatory and galley the noise from which may cause discomfort.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seats on the seats 31DEFG as they have bassinet locations.

As the seats 38D and 38G jut into the aisle they are often bumped by passengers and crew members passing by.

Because of the configuration change of the seats from 4 to 3 the seats 39DEF have limited space for passengers’ legs.

Passengers of AB and JK seats of the rows 39-41may feel neck strain while watching TV that are located on the backs of the seats located in front as these seats are misaligned.

Also due to curvature of the airplane these seats may feel narrower and cramped.

Location of the lavatories and galley behind will cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of the 42nd row.

Also the seats of the last 42nd row may be less reclining than standard that is why these seats are considered bad seats.

These seats have 2-2-2 configuration.

So, there are 30 flat bed seats that have 165 degree recline.

Passengers of the seats of the 1st row will take advantage of extra legroom.

At the same time close location of the lavatory and galley may cause discomfort.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 5th row is location of the galley and lavatory behind.

Behind the seats of business class two sections of economy class seats are located.

There are totally 275 seats here.

All A, D, G and K seats of the economy class have restricted legroom because of the entertainment equipment that is stored under these seats.

First section consists of 20 rows of seats that have 2-4-2 configuration.

The main advantage of the seats of the 10th row is extra space for passengers’ legs.

Among disadvantages: noise from the galleys and lavatories located in front, reduced width of the seats as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

For passengers with infants the seats 10DEFG offer bassinet locations.

Missing windows make the seats 16A and 16K bad seats.

Lack of recline and no windows are the disadvantages of the seats 30A and 30K.

All other seats of the 30th row are less reclining than standard.

Behind the exit row 15 rows of second section of economy class seats are located.

The seats 31AB and 31JK are considered good seats as they have extra legroom.

However, these seats are narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 31DEFG on the contrary have limited space for passengers’ legs.

The other disadvantages are the same: reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers with babies are often seated on these seats as they offer bassinet locations.

Because of the curvature of the airplane the seats AB and JK of the rows 42-45 may feel cramped.

Misalignment of these seats may also cause neck strain while watching TVs that are located on the back of the seats located in front.

Another disadvantage of the B and J seats of the rows 42-45is proximity of the lavatories.

As there are no seats behind the seats 42E and 42G are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

The main disadvantages of the seats 4DEF are restricted legroom and reduced width.

The seats of the last 45th row are considered bad seats as they are less reclining than standard and other passengers tend to congregate in this area while waiting to use lavatories that are located behind.

All these seats are standard only close location of the galley and lavatory may cause some discomfort for passengers of the seats of the 1st row.

Business class has 24 angle-flat seats with 165 degree recline that are divided into two small sections.

First section contains 1 row of seats.

The seats of the 10th row are more private.

However, close location of the galley and lavatory may represent problem.

Second section of business class seats is located behind exit row and has 3 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 11th row is limited legroom, the noise from the galley and lavatory located in front and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The noise from the bassinet located behind is the disadvantage of the seats 14E and 14F.

Economy class seats are also divided into two sections.

Because of the entertainment equipment stored under the seats B,D, G and J these seats have restricted legroom and storage space.

First section includes 14 rows of seats.

13 rows have 2-4-2 configuration and 1 row contains 4 seats.

Due to the bulkhead position the seats of the 16th row have restricted legroom.

Among other disadvantages: reduced width of the seats as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers travelling with babies are often seated on the seats 16DEFG as these seats offer bassinet locations.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats with 15 rows is located.

Passengers of the seats of the 30th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs.
