Alaska Airlines Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 Montana State University Bobcats Livery. Part of our special series of aircraft featuring West Coast universities, this livery celebrates the Montana State University Bobcats.
The De Havilland Canada Dash 8 is a series of turboprop-powered regional airliners, introduced by de Havilland Canada (DHC) in 1984. DHC was later bought by Boeing in 1988, then by Bombardier in 1992; then by Longview Aviation Capital in 2019, reviving the de Havilland Canada brand.
Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW100s, it was developed from the Dash 7 with improved cruise performance, lowered operational costs but without STOL performance.
Three sizes were offered: initially the 37–40 seat -100 until 2005 and the more powerful -200 from 1995, the stretched 50–56 seats -300 from 1989, both until 2009, and the 68–90 seats -400 from 1999, still in production. The Q Series are post-1997 variants with quieter cabins.

Alaska Airlines Fleet Airbus A321neo Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Alaska Airlines operates 9 narrow-body aircraft Airbus A321neo.
This aircraft have similar configuration with other A320 family (A319 and A320).
There’s first class, premium, and economy cabin onboard.
Airbus is offering airlines brand-new options for configuring the generous floor space offered by its A321neo, allowing more flexibility and thus increasing the total number of available seats.
These new cabin options capitalize on recent innovations in cabin monuments and seat design that enable more efficient use of cabin space without compromising passenger comfort.
UPDATE : Alaska Airlines will retire its last Airbus A321neo on September 30, 2023, and at that point the airline will no longer have any Airbus jets.
The airline will then again proudly have an all-Boeing mainline fleet.
This has been quite a project, as the airline has retired nearly 70 Airbus jets in the past couple of years.
With Alaska Airlines conducting its final A321neo flight on September 30th, its outgoing neo fleet has been snapped up by American Airlines.
According to AirFinanceJournal, AA Chief Financial Officer Devon May has confirmed the airline will take on the planes – the ten neos were at Alaska on lease from several companies, including Irish firms Jackson Square Aviation and AerCap.
American already flies 70 A321neos alongside more than 200 A321-200s, so the jets will slip into its fleet nicely – the airline will also acquire the aircraft with very little delay, with deliveries slated before the end of the year.

Alaska Airlines Fleet Airbus A321neo Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout
Alaska Airlines operates two version cabin configurations of the Airbus A321neo.
First version of Airbus A321neo has 8 First Class seats, 18 Premium Class seats and 159 standard Economy Class seats.
Second version of Airbus A321neo has 16 First Class seats, 24 Premium Class seats and 150 standard Economy Class seats.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Alaska Airlines Airbus A321neo 190 Seats
Airbus A321neo operated by Alaska Airlines offers seats of three classes: first, premium and economy.
First class seats are located in the first two rows of the airplane and have 2-2 configuration.
The width of these seats is 21 inches as compared to the seats of premium and economy that have 17.7 inches width.
Noise from the galley and lavatory and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing may be bothersome for passengers of the seats of the 1st row.
Behind the seats of the first class 18 seats of premium class are located.
There are totally 3 rows here per 6 seats in each.
These seats are designated as premium seats because they offer 6 extra inches of legroom.
The seats of the 3rd row have some disadvantages: no floor storage during take-off and landing and location of tray tables in the bulkhead.
Economy class offers 159 seats.
First 2 rows of the economy class are located before the first exit row.
Recline of the seats of the 7th row may be limited because of the exit row located behind.
Behind the exit row 13 rows more rows of economy class seats are located.
First row of the section has 3-2 configuration, the last row contains 2 seats and 11 rows have 3-3 configuration.
Passengers of the seats of the 8th row will take advantage of additional legroom.
However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Anyway, these seats are considered good seats as well as the seat 9 that also features extra legroom.
Among disadvantages of this seat: reduced width because of the tray tables located in armrests and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.
Due to the lavatory wall located behind the seats 19ABC have limited recline and when the seats in front are in reclining position passengers of these seats will have less personal space.
Noise from the lavatory may also cause discomfort.
Close location of the lavatory is also the main disadvantage of the seats 19D and 20D.
Because of the exit row located behind the seat 20D also is less reclining than standard seats.
That is why these seats are considered bad seats.
The other 13 rows of economy class seats are located behind the second exit row.
The seats of the 21st row and the seat 22A offer extra space for passengers’ legs.
However, there are some disadvantages: as the tray tables and TV displays are built-in the armrests making them immovable and thus reducing the width, also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Lavatories located in front is one more disadvantage of the seats 21BC.
The main disadvantage of the seat 32C is proximity of the lavatory.
Limited recline, reduced personal space and noise from the lavatory area located behind make the seats 32DEF and 33ABC bad seats.
