Designed in collaboration with Marc Newson with a focus on practicality, comfort, privacy and style, Qantas A330-300 Business Suites redefine the inflight experience.

The suites are fitted with innovative seats that recline to fully-flat beds and direct aisle access for every passenger in a 1-2-1 layout.

The Vantage XL seat, manufactured by Thompson Aero Seating, was developed and customised extensively after ergonomic trials and inflight monitoring with a panel of experts and ongoing feedback from customers.

The reclining seat can be fitted with a comfy mattress from take-off right through to landing – offering more time to rest and sleep before you arrive.

The new space means you can eat, work, enjoy the inflight entertainment options and store your luggage with unprecedented comfort.

Business class consists of 28 flat bed seats.

These seats are located in 7 rows that have 1-2-1 configuration.

The seats of the 1st row have the following disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, close location of the galleys and reduced width as the tray tables and TV sets are built-in the armrests making them immovable.

Proximity of the galleys will also be a problem for passengers of the seats of the 7th row.

Economy class has 269 seats divided into two sections.

Most of the seats of the economy class have 2-4-2 configuration.

Due to the bulkhead position the seats of the 23rd row and the seats 24JK have limited space for passengers legs.

As the armrests of these seats are immovable these seats are narrower than standard.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Close location of the lavatories and limited storage space and legroom are the main disadvantages of the seats 41AB and 41DEFG.

The seats 40JK and 41JK sometimes are reserved for crew rest.

The second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row.

Passengers of the seats of the 45th row will take advantage of extra legroom.

However, these seats have the following disadvantages: as the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little, there is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing.

Other passengers tend to gather in the area of these seats while waiting to use lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

The seats 55D and 55G are often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by due to awkward transition of the seats from 4 to 3.

For the same reason the seats 56DEF have limited legroom.

The only disadvantage of the seats 59B, 59D, 59F and 59J is proximity of the galleys and lavatories.

Limited recline and the noise coming from the galleys and lavatories make the seats of the 60th row bad seats.
