ANA Fleet Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

All Nippon Airways (ANA) configured their Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner with 3 class configuration.

There are 38 Business Class, 21 Premium Economy, and 235 Economy Class seats.

The business class cabin will feature virtually the same seat product as seen on the airline’s recently acquired Airbus A380 superjumbo, which are laid out in a staggered forward-facing 1-2-1 configuration.

This gives all passengers in the cabin of 38 seats direct access to the aisles.

These seats recline to form a fully flat bed and also have 18-inch touchscreen monitors, and PC and USB power outlets.

The only difference with the seats on the 787-10 and the A380 is that, unlike the superjumbo, none of the seats will be positioned directly adjacent to each other in “couples”.

Such seats are ideal for leisure travellers flying to the A380’s sole destination – Honolulu – but are less so for solo business travellers flying on key routes to Singapore and Bangkok, making the staggered formation a welcome one on the 787-10.

Passengers in the premium economy cabin can also expect to see a very similar seat product to that outfitted on the A380.

These 21 seats, laid out 2-3-2, offer a 38-inch pitch, have a 15.6-inch touchscreen monitor, a six-way adjustable headrest, leg rest, and PC and USB power outlets.

Economy class, meanwhile, appears to be a new seat product as well that offers a 34-inch pitch, a 13.3-inch touchscreen monitor, a six-way adjustable headrest, and PC and USB power outlets.

A total of 235 seats configured in a 3-3-3 set up are available across the two economy class cabins.

ANA Fleet Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

All Nippon Airways operates 3 cabin version of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

The ANA 787-8 Dreamliner configurations will feature LED lighting throughout the aircraft, windows about 1.3 times bigger than conventional airplanes, an economy class bar, larger overhead bins, and TOTO washlets in each lavatory which provides users with a warm-water bidet function.

Seats in economy class do not recline but instead have a hard shell back.

Instead of reclining, the bottom portion of the seat slides forward by 3 inches.

This decreases seat pitch as knees come closer to the seat back; however personal space is preserved as the seat ahead does not recline.

This 787-8 is premium cabin-heavy and carries only 169 passengers — compare that to Scoot’s 787-8 which carries 335 passengers!

There are 46 seats in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy and 102 at the back of the bus.

ANA Fleet Airbus A380-800 Details and Pictures. All Nippon Airways ordered 3 Airbus A380, and currently 1 of it already delivered.

ANA’s intent with the Airbus A380 is to have passengers get in the Hawaiian holiday mood as soon as they approach the aircraft.

Once onboard passengers will notice seat colors, lighting colors, special beverages, meals, and service trend toward a Hawaiian theme.

Also, each aircraft is named and painted in an individual color to represent a sea turtle – honu in Hawaiian language.

Flying Honu is the aircrafts’ nickname.

Names and colors inspired by Hawaii include:  Hawaiian Sky – ANA Blue, Hawaiian Ocean – Emerald Green, and Hawaiian Sunset – Sunset Orange.

ANA Fleet Airbus A380-800 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

The ANA (NH) Airbus A380 was purchased specifically for services between Japan and Hawaii.

Three aircraft operate in the fleet carrying up to 520 passengers on holiday in four different classes – First (8 seats), Business (56 seats), Premium Economy (73 seats), and Economy (343 seats).

A cabin within a cabin in Economy Class will feature a seat that may be transformed into the ANA Couchii.

The ANA Couchii is created with raisable leg rests that make a flat surface bed-like area.

The first class cabin on the A380 is located upstairs in the front of the aircraft.

It features eight suites with closing doors; two rows in a 1-2-1 layout.

The cabin was lit with rainbow colored light and featured outer space-themed wallpaper.

The suites are a big improvement over the older Square Suite product (on 777s) in that they maintain plenty of personal storage yet offer unobstructed views out the window.

The seat features bell and whistles including a multi-way seat adjuster, IFE remote, reading lights, multiple power ports, window shade controls, literature rack with vanity mirror, and again, plenty of personal storage.

A closet with a pull-out rack allows for storage of clothes when you change into pajamas.

ANA offers a total of 56 lie-flat business-class seats,  just behind the first-class cabin on the upper deck.

Seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, and they’re staggered, which means some are closer to the aisle, alternating from one row to the next.

Seats in odd-numbered rows offer a bit more shelter from the aisle, and odd-numbered center seats are very close together, making them an ideal fit for couples and other passengers traveling together.

ANA offers a whopping 73 premium economy recliners on the A380, arranged in a standard 2-3-2 configuration.

The 383 economy seats will be in a 3-4-3 configuration on the lower deck.

60 of these economy seats can be converted into “couch seats,” where a set of seats can be turned into a sleeping area.

Scoot Airlines Fleet Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

This Scoot Airlines Boeing 787-900 is operated in a two class configuration of Business and Economy.

Rows 6-10 are “ScootinSilence,” a designated quiet zone.

Passengers under the age of 12 are not permitted to book seats here.

All “ScootinSilence” seats are either “S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seats” or “SuperSeats.”

Scoot Airlines offers two upgrades for Economy.

“SuperSeats” offer 34-35 inches of seat pitch.

“S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seats” offer 35-36 inches of seat pitch and are located at Bulkheads and Exit Rows with no seat in front.

Scoot charges an extra fee to reserve these seats.

Click here for more information.

The seating in the Economy Class cabin features a 31-inch seat pitch and seat recline of 6 inch making it the greatest recline of any low cost carrier operating in the Asia Pacific area.

The Scoot-in-Silence cabin ( where no children under 12 are permitted) is retained on the Dreamliner however, unlike on the old 777, there is no curtain, just a bulk head separating it from Economy Class.

This cabin with its extra legroom (seats have a 35 inch pitch) is genius and sales prove that it is popular with the travelling public.

There is a large area of space between the Scoot-in-Silence cabin and Economy where people can have a stretch.

It’s also the perfect area for parents to pace back and forth with their upset babies and passengers in the quiet cabin did mention this on the return flight.

Both Economy and Scoot-in-Silence cabins have in seat power but you need to pay $8 Singapore dollars to use it.

If you want more comfort and entertainment, then you pay for it, otherwise, enjoy your cheap fare, be organised and power up your device first.

Scoot Business Class or “Scoot Biz” as it’s called, is not your typical Business Class, it’s more of a no frills Premium Economy and it’s at this point that you need to remember you only paid $400-$500 for this “Business Class” not $2,000 and keep your expectations in line.

The seats, covered in a black leather have a 38 inch seat pitch, 8 inch recline and come with complimentary in seat power, in flight entertainment (to be streamed to your own device), and an extendable leg rest.

ScootPlus occupies a small cabin with five rows of seven seats at the pointy end of the plane.

Seat configuration is 2-3-2.

Main cabin lighting and windows were all dimmed just after takeoff, with ambient lighting replacing to create a more relaxed atmosphere (and also help those who need to catch up on sleep).

Curtains separate the Plus cabin from Economy.

Comfortable leather recliner seat with a 22-inch width and 38-inch pitch and an adjustable leg rest.

The fold out tray table in the armrest can be opened full or half.

Adequate space is provided to place a drink at the end of the armrest, meaning you don’t have to keep the tray table open for a drink.

The reading light switch and attendant call buttons are poorly placed if you have the tray table open though – you have to lean forward and look down.

In-seat power is provided free of charge for ScootPlus passengers.

Rather than offering seatback entertainment screens as you’d typically find on most international airlines, Scoot beams movies and TV shows to travellers’ own smartphones, tablets and laptops.

It’s a similar concept to Qantas’ Q Streaming and Virgin Australia’s BoardConnect systems.

First 5 rows of seats represent seats of business class designated by Scoot Airlines as ScootBiz seats.

These seats have 2-3-2 configuration and have 22 inches width.

All these seats are standard, only the seats of the 1st row have such disadvantage as lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Behind the seats of business class 5 rows of Scootin Silence type seats are located.

These seats are located in a quiet zone.

An extra fee must be paid to book these seats.

Passengers under 12 years old cannot choose these seats. Passengers of the seats of the 6th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

However, as the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little and these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class may accommodate 295 seats.

Most of these seats have 3-3-3 configuration.

Scoot Airlines designates the seats of the 11th row as S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seat.

An extra fee must be paid to reserve these seats.

These seats offer extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: galley located in front, slightly reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

DEF seats of the rows 11-14 are designated as SuperSeat to book which extra charge should be paid.

Close location of the lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 28C, 28DEF, 28HJK and 29 ABC.

Missing window makes the seat 29A bad seat.

Behind the exit row second section of economy class seats is located.

Thanks to exit row located in front the seats 30DEF, 31ABC and 31HJK have extra legroom.

These seats are designated as S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seats to choose which extra fee must be paid.

But noise from the lavatories located in front, reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Extra fee must be also paid to reserve ABC and HJK seats of the rows 32-33because these seats are designated by Scoot Airlines as SuperSeats.

Because of missing windows the seats 42A and 42K are considered bad seats.

The seats 44AC and 44HK are designated as SuperSeats that may be reserved for additional charge.

These seats are ideal for passengers travelling with a partner.

Thanks to missing middle seats passengers will be able to take advantage of more space.

However, these seats may not recline and are located close to lavatories.

Proximity of lavatories is the only disadvantage of the seats 44D and 44F.

The seats 45DEF are less reclining than standard and are located close to the galley and lavatories what makes these seats bad seats.

Scoot Airlines Fleet Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Scoot flies the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with 335 seats in a two class configuration of Business and Economy.

Rows 4-8 are “ScootinSilence,” a designated quiet zone.

The seats in the general economy section are standard seats, with the rows of nine seats arranged in threes with two aisles.

Seat width of just under 19″ (67cm) is adequate for average sized travellers.

With the streamlined armrests, this makes the available space comfortable for most average sized passengers.

The cloth covered seats were comfortable and reclined adequately without impacting on the passenger behind.

There is no headrest on these seats, so remember to take your neck pillow if you need some support.

The armrests are slim and tuck away neatly into the gap between the seats even when the seats are fully reclined.

The only downside associated with the armrests is that the light and call buttons are located on top.

The light button seemed to be the easiest to accidentally press.

There is a hard to find (and then plug anything into) charging socket beneath the seat.

However, you need to pay between SGD5 and 8 to use them.

The legroom of 11″ was pretty much standard in economy seating, the extra space which comes from the thin seat back contributed to this, making it easy for the long legged.

It’s also easier for window and middle seat passengers to get out. Unfortunately, there is no footrest.

If you’re worried about disturbance from people queuing for the toilet, stay away from the last few rows. There’s really nowhere else  to wait other than in the aisle.

These seats are also close to the rear Galley.

Window seats have the full footroom as there is no entertainment unit under the seat in front.

However, you still have to climb over two people to get out to the aisle.

ScootBiz that corresponds to business class offers 21 reclining seats that have 22 inches width.

These seats are located in the first three rows and have 2-3-2 configuration.

All these seats are standard only the seats of the 1st row have such disadvantages as close location to the galley and lavatory in front and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats of the rows 4-8 are designated by Scoot Airlines as Scootin Silence seats to book which an extra fee must be paid.

But these seats cannot be booked for children under 12 years old.

Passengers of these seats will take advantage of quieter atmosphere.

The seats of the 4th row are the best seats of this area because passengers will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

However, these sears are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Proximity of the lavatory is the only disadvantage of the seat 5H and F seats of the rows 5-8.

Missing window makes the seat 7A bad seat.

Behind the exit row 281 seats of the economy class seats are located.

These seats are divided into 2 sections.

Scoot Airlines designates the seats 9DEF, 10ABC and 10HJK as S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seats because they offer additional space for passengers’ legs.

Location of the galley in front may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 9DEF.

Congregation of passengers while waiting to use lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 27C, 27DEF, 27H, 28ABC and 28HJK.

Second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row.

Thanks to extra legroom passengers of the seats 29DEF, 30ABC and 30 HJK will feel comfortable.

These seats are designated as S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seats.

The noise from the lavatories located in front may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 29DEF.

Missing windows is the main disadvantage of the seats 37A and 37K.

Limited recline and lavatories located behind make the seats 41AC, 41HK and 42DEF bad seats.
