Singapore Airlines Fleet Airbus A350-900 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Singapore Airlines configured their Airbus A350-900 on three different cabin layout configuration.

The configuration is based on its flying range itself, medium haul, long haul, and the ultra long range (ULR).

There’s 253 seats (Long Haul), 161 seats (Ultra Long Range), and 303 seats (Medium Haul).

The long-haul Singapore Airlines A350-900 is configured with 42 flat-bed business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with 26 located between doors 1 and 2 and a smaller cabin of 16 seats behind door 2.

Following that are 24 premium economy in 2-4-2 and 253 economy in 3-3-3.

Singapore Airlines also has a regional configured A350-900 which has 40 flat-bed business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration as installed in the carrier’s Boeing 787-10 aircraft and 263 economy seats.

Anyone who has flown Singapore’s long-range 777 will find the seat and cabin very familiar.

The bulkhead seats provide so much extra space thanks to a wide ottoman to rest your feet on.

There are no overhead bins down the center of their business class cabins, yet the cabin doesn’t feel spacious as the seats seem quite bulky.

The cabin feels incredibly spacious, thanks to the lack of overhead bins in the middle of the plane.

The more intimate forward business-class cabin only has five rows of seats.

The main business-class cabin is double the size, with 10 rows of seats.

At 28 inches wide, these are some of the widest business-class seats in the industry.

The premium economy cabin on Singapore’s A350-900ULR is mostly 2-4-2, although it becomes 1-4-1 for its last three rows.

The bulkhead seats provide ample leg room.

Each premium economy seat had 38-inch pitch, which became 33 inches when the passenger ahead of you reclined.

There’s 40 flat bed seats on Business Class – J cabin. The configuration is seat with console on the left and right.

Seats in the middle with consoles next to the aisle (e.g. 11D and 11F, 14D and 14F) have an adjustable centre divider.

Seats with consoles away from the aisle are wheelchair accessible.

On the Economy Class -Y cabin, there’s 263 seats.

The economy class seats option consist with standard seat, forward zone seat, and also extra legroom seat.

The number of extra legroom seats may vary on flights.

Refer to the actual seat map during booking for the most up-to-date information.

All economy class aisle seats (except front row seats) have movable armrest for passengers with reduced mobility.

The long haul layout of SQ A350-900 configured with 3 class, Business, Premium Eocnomy, and Economy class.

The seats of the first 11 rows of Airbus A350-900 contain seats of business class.

There are totally 42 flat bed seats here that have 180 degrees recline, i.e. are transformed into a fully bed.

Business class seats are divided into 2 sections: First section offers 26 seats.

Only the seats of the first and the last rows of the section, i.e. the seats of the 11th row and of the seats 17A, 17K and 18DF have such a disadvantage as close location of the galleys and lavatories.

Behind the exit row 4 more rows of business class are located.

These seats have 1-2-1 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 19th row will take advantage of extra legroom.

For passengers traveling with infants these seats offer bassinets.

However, the noise from the galleys located in front may be bothersome.

Premium economy class may accommodate 24 passengers.

The seats of premium economy class are located in 3 rows and have 2-4-2 configuration.

The seats of the 31st row are considered the best seats because they provide additional legroom for passengers.

But these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats 31DEFG because these seats have bassinets.

The seats 33D and 33G are often bumped by service carts and other passengers passing by.

Reduced width is another disadvantage of these seats.

Economy class may transport 187 passengers.

It is separated into two sections.

First section consists of 6 rows of seats.

There are totally 51 seats here.

Passengers of the seats of the 41st row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

For passengers with babies these seats offer bassinets.

These seats are considered the best seats of the economy class.

As the tray tables are video monitors are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers tend to gather in order to visit lavatories in the area of the seats 45DEG, 46ABC and 46HJK causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Behind the exit row second section of economy class seats is located.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 47th row offer extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: location of the lavatories in front, reduced width of the seats and no floor storage during take-off and landing.

As there are no seats in front the seats 48A and 48K these seats offer additional legroom to passengers.

These seats are considered good seats.

However, these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Limited recline and the noise from the galleys and lavatory located behind make the seats 61ABC, 61HJK and 62DEG bad seats.

Singapore Airlines A350-900ULR is used on the world’s longest commercial flight.

Traveling 9,500 nonstop miles from New York to Singapore the aircraft is nearly 1,000 miles longer than the previous longest flight ever which flew from Dubai to Panama.

This aircraft has a modified fuel system that increases the fuel capacity by 24,000 liters, without requiring additional tanks.

This aircraft is more sustainable than previous A350’s in their fleet and has a 25% reduction in fuel burn emission.

Singapore’s new A350-900ULR includes aerodynamic performance improvements such as extended winglets.

This aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 280 tons.

Additionally, the special Ultra Long Range variety includes noticeable changes in the interior of the aircraft as well.

No Economy Class seating is offered on this flight.

Instead, in there are 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy Class seats, totaling a capacity of 161 passengers.

Typical seating for this aircraft would be 325 seats.

Offering upgraded seating, Singapore introduced a new Business Class product.

In the Business Class, the aircraft has a 1-2-1 configuration, while in Premium Economy there is a 2-4-2 configuration.

This new, modern aircraft will ensure passengers have a spacious enjoyable flight.

Singapore Airlines Fleet Airbus A330-300 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Airbus A330-300 operated by Singapore Airlines is a two class airplane that may transport 285 passengers.

The plane has a total of 30 business class seats spread across five rows in a 2-2-2 configuration.

Singapore Airlines has angled seats on their A330s.

These aren’t just mildly angled seats, but the angle is really steep.

The seatbacks have personal televisions, literature pockets, and some storage compartments.

The storage compartments can be unlocked using the latches to the side of the seat.

They’re quite small, and only big enough for some cords, a pair of glasses, or a phone.

There was more exposed storage underneath the center armrests.

Then underneath the center armrests were 110V and USB outlets.

Between seats is a privacy partition, which actually extended out quite a ways, and would be useful in the event that you’re seated next to someone.

On their Airbus A330 fleet, Singapore Airlines Economy Class is configured with 255 standard economy class seats in a 2-4-2 layout.

The seats measure 19 inches wide and provide 32 inches of pitch and 6 inches of recline.

Each economy class seat is configured with an adjustable headrest, personal in-flight entertainment system, USB charger, universal electrical outlet (1 per every 2 seats), personal reading lamp, coat hook and vanity mirror.

For storage, your larger carry-on items can be secured in the overhead bins and your smaller personal items can be stored underneath the seat in front of you.

Additionally, each seat is equipped with multiple storage pockets to secure all your small electronic devices and personal items.

Each economy class seat is equipped with a personal in-flight entertainment system with a robust collection of new Hollywood movies, TV shows, games and audio entertainment.

Singapore Airlines charges an extra fee for exit and bulkhead seats in Economy Class (rows 31 and 48).

Business class consists of 5 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.

These are the seats of rows 11-16.

The seats of the 11th row have bassinet locations that is why passengers traveling with babies are often seated here.

The main disadvantage of these seats is close location of the galleys.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 16th row is proximity of the galley.

Behind the exit row 2 sections of economy class seats are located.

First section of economy class seats includes 17 rows of seats that have 2-4-2 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 31st row will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

However, the position of bassinets and proximity of the galleys may be bothersome.

The seats 34A and 34K have no windows.

Proximity of the lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 47th row.

Behind another exit row the second section of economy class seats is located.

11 rows here have 2-4-2 configuration, 4 rows have 2-3-2 configuration and the last row contains 3 seats.

The seats 48AC and 48HK are designated by Singapore Airlines as Preferred Seats.

These seats have more space for passengers’ legs.

However close location to lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

The legroom of the seats 48A and 48K is reduced a little as the exit door protrudes into these seats.

Passengers of the seats 48DEFG will feel comfortable thanks to some extra legroom provided to bulkhead position.

Other passengers tend to gather in this area while waiting to visit lavatories causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Passengers with babies are often seated on these seats as they have bassinet location.

As there are no seats behind, other passengers tend to bump into the seats 58D and 58G.

The seats 59DEG have limited legroom because of awkward configuration switch from 4 to 3 seats.

Proximity of the lavatories may represent problem to passengers of the seats 62AC, 62HK and of the seats of the last 63rd row.

In addition the seats 63DEG may be less reclining.

That is why these seats are considered bad seats.
