The A320 is base model for A318, A319, and also A321.

A320 is the first model among narrow-bodied Airbus airplanes that is equipped with so-called sharklets – wingtips.

Sharklets 2.4 meters long made of light composite improve aerodynamic characteristics of the wing and significantly reduce fuel consumption.

According to Airbus data they allow to increase the flying range approximately by 185 kilometers, useful load by 450 kilograms and reduce fuel consumption by 4%.

Each sharklet by 95% consists of composite materials and despite of its massive dimensions (height 2.4 meters) has the weight of only 40 kilograms.

Alitalia A330-200 aircraft feature a three-class cabin configuration: the Business Class cabin, the private Premium Economy cabin, and the refreshed Economy Class cabin.

This aircraft flies with 20 Business Class seats, 17 Premium Economy seats, and 219 Economy Class seats.

The Business Class seats convert to flat-beds and offer in-seat work station capabilities, with PC power plugs and USB ports, and large 15.4″ LCD screens to access vast personal entertainment options.

The private Premium Economy cabin offers a variety of benefits including more legroom and greater seat pitch than regular Economy Class.

Premium Economy passengers also enjoy priority check-in and boarding, and may check two bags at no cost as opposed to one for regular Economy Class.

On board, Premium Economy seats also offer in-seat entertainment and work station capabilities, with PC power plugs and USB ports, and large 10.4″ LCD screens to access the personal entertainment system.

The new generation seats in the Economy Class cabin on new A330-200 aircrafts offer comfort and in-seat personal entertainment systems.

All window seats have an entertainment box installed beneath them which may restrict legroom.

Business class includes 20 flat bed seats with 180 degrees recline.

For passengers traveling with a partner will be perfect all EG seats of the business class, i.e. the seats 1EG, 3EG and 5EG.

17 seats are located in Premium Economy class.

But these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats of the economy class are divided into two sections.

Passengers of the seats 12AC, 12JL and 14DEGH will feel comfortable thanks to the extra space for their legs.

The main disadvantages of the seats 27AC and the seats of the 28th row are: limited recline and close location to the lavatories.

Passengers of the seats 29AC and 29JL will take advantage of extra legroom, the other seats of the 29th row, i.e. the seats 29DEGH on the contrary have limited legroom.

All the seats of the 29th row are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Due to the missing seat behind the seat 38D is often bumped by other passengers passing by and service carts.

The best seats here are the seats 40DEG as they offer extra legroom to passengers.

The seats 41DEG also have extra space for passengers legs.

But these seats are less reclining than standard, have limited overhead storage space.

The noise that is coming from the galleys located here may be also bothersome.

Limited recline, close location of the galleys and limited storage in overhead bins make the seats 42AC and 42JL bad seats.

The Airbus A321LR will help Aer Lingus expand their crucial transatlantic market while also upgrading some of their services on intra-European routes.

These new A321LRs are expected to replace older Boeing 757 aircraft in the fleet.

The A321LR variant provides extended range for the A320neo Family’s longest fuselage version, able to fly routes of up to 4,000 nm with 206 passengers by utilising extra fuel in three Additional Centre Tanks (ACTs).

Ideally suited to transatlantic routes, the A321LR allows airlines to tap into new long-haul markets that were not previously accessible with current single-aisle aircraft.

Operators can outfit its cabin in state-of-the-art two-class configurations – including full-flat seats for true long-haul comfort – or in a single-class layout.

The A321LR’s long-range capability was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in October 2018.

The first A321LR was delivered launch customer Arkia Israeli Airlines in November 2018.

The Aer Lingus Airbus A321LR presented here represents one of the most technologically advanced aircraft introduced in 2019.

The aircraft’s main purpose is to efficiently serve long-haul transatlantic routes that are not from primary cities.

The aircraft is configured with 16 Business Class seats that transform into fully lie-flat beds and 168 standard Economy Class seats.

Every seat in each class features a personal touchscreen entertainment monitor, an AC power socket, and a USB power port.

Each business seat measures 20 inches wide, 78 inches long in bed length, and 45 inches in pitch. There are 16 fully lie-flat seats in an alternating 2-2 and 1-1 configuration.

The best seats (especially for solo travelers) are 3A, 3K, 5A, and 5K.

These are throne seats that will grant you 2 passengers worth of space for yourself.

Of course, you won’t have a seat mate in this configuration, which is why it’s a fantastic seat for solo travelers.

Each economy seats measure 18 inches wide and 32 inches in pitch, with a single aisle and a 3-3 configuration.

The best seats are in row 15, due to the presence of the exit row.

Also, rows 13 and 14 have limited recline, so be sure to avoid those when you can.

You’ll want to avoid rows 13, 14, 25, and 34 when you can due to restrictive recline, lack of windows, and proximity to lavatories and galleys.
