Royal Jordanian Fleet Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout
Royal Jordanian wide-body aircraft Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner seats 270 passengers and is primarily used on International routes.
This aircraft features 24 flat bed Crown Class (Business) seats and 246 standard Economy seats.
The business-class (Crown) cabin is arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration with a total of 24 seats.
Unlike most newer business-class cabins that have introduced seats where everyone has direct-aisle access — like United Polaris or Delta One’s A350 — you won’t find that on Royal Jordanian, so if you’re in a window seat, you’ll have to climb over your neighbor to get up and go to the bathroom.
The seats, white with red trim, are designed by Rockwell Collins and are the B/E Aerospace Diamond model that’s found on many aircraft including American’s A321T or Qatar’s A319.
The footwell was pretty small, if you need more space for your feet, make sure you grab a seat in row 1.
You’ll find universal power outlets and USB ports to left of the headrest, as well as a tiny storage area.
Fully flat, the seats measured 78 inches long and 19 inches wide, although Seatguru claims they are 21 inches wide.
The website also states the seats have 60 inches of pitch.
The seat controls are built into the center armrest.
Between business class and the economy cabin, there was a small area where you could stretch your legs.
While most airlines have proper bulkheads between the main entry door and the cabins, that’s not the case on Royal Jordanian’s 787.
Instead the second set of doors opens up immediately to the back of the business class cabin.
The Royal Jordanian Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Economy Class has a 3-3-3 seat layout: three seats on the left side of the plane, three seats in the middle and three on the right.
The seat pitch in the Royal Jordanian Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Economy Class cabin is 32 inches.
The seat width is 17 inches.
Each seat comes equipped with an individual fan and reading light, a pocket for storing small items used during the flight, a clean headrest cover, and room to stretch your legs.
All seats in the Boeing 787 feature Audio and Video on Demand, on a touchscreen monitor, with a variety of movies, television, international radio stations, audio and leading video games, USB connectivity and laptop power outlet.
