China Airlines Fleet Boeing 777-300ER Details and Pictures. China Airlines operates 10 wide-body aircraft Boeing 777-300ER for long-haul flights.

Each of the airline’s 10 777-300ERs are configured to seat 358 passengers in a three-class layout highlighted by the new ‘Family Couch’ seats in economy class.

China Airlines is the only airline in North Asia to feature the Family Couch seats, where three economy seats convert into a flat surface to provide passengers with added rest and relaxation.

China Airlines Fleet Boeing 777-300ER Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

China Airlines flies their Boeing 777-300ER in a three class configuration with 40 flat bed Business Class seats, 62 Premium Economy seats, and 256 standard Economy seats.

Economy Family Couch seats are available for purchase at an additional cost and are located in the first Economy Class cabin.

These seats are indicated on the seat map in blue shading.

The cabin itself was beautiful, with wood finishings and a beautiful onboard bar and bookshelves.

Business class is arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, premium economy in a 2-4-2 configuration, and economy in a 3-4-3 arrangement — the latter a tight fit on the 777, but unfortunately becoming widespread.

The economy section seemed pretty standard, but premium economy was spacious (although not quite as spacious as what Lufthansa or Air New Zealand offer).

In business class, the seat itself was reverse-herringbone style, with every seat having direct aisle access.

For storage, there were two compartments on the right-hand side, as well as a compartment in the aisle-side armrest, where the amenity kit was hidden.

There was a 23-inch display at the front of the seat, which could control with a remote control that was hidden in one of the side compartments.

There was a AC power outlet and two USB ports for charging.

The business-class cabin had two bathrooms, both with windows, which is rare.

But the most unique aspect of the aircraft was the onboard bar.

Premium economy seats are arranged in a 2-4-2 layout across eight rows and offer a 19-inch seat width as well as a 39-inch pitch.

Each comes with a 12.1-inch IFE touchscreen, metal tray table, water bottle holder at the side, reading light, USB charging port, and a dedicated drinks holder.
