French bee Fleet Airbus A350-1000 Details and Pictures. In 2022, the company will welcome two A350-1000s with 480 seats, allowing fuel savings of more than 9 percent per seat compared to the A350-900.

French Bee’s A350-1000s are likely the world’s lowest cost long haul aircraft in terms of per-seat operating costs.

Ticketing options for passengers include ‘Basic’, which includes one carry-on bag, ‘Smart’, which includes a checked bag and inflight meal, and ‘Premium’, offering two inflight meals, baggage services, Premium cabin seat choice, ‘line jump’, priority boarding, and priority luggage delivery.

The A350-1000 features Airbus’ Airspace cabin, including state-of-the-art, in-flight passenger entertainment (IFE) and full WiFi connectivity throughout the cabin.

The A350-1000, Airbus’ largest widebody in the twin-engine category, features the latest aerodynamic design, a carbon fibre fuselage and wings, plus new fuel-efficient Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.

French bee Fleet Airbus A350-1000 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Since launching operations, French Bee has operated a fleet of four Airbus A350-900s, featuring a total of 411 seats.

This includes 35 premium economy seats and 376 economy seats, making them among the densest A350-900s out there.

Now the airline is taking delivery of two Airbus A350-1000s, featuring a total of 480 seats.

This includes 40 premium economy seats and 440 economy seats.

In both cabins, all seats enjoy an unprecedented ceiling height (the highest on the market) and larger windows to increase the perception of space on board.

In part, the airline is able to cram so many seats on the plane because there are 10 seats per row in economy, rather than the standard nine.

Just to compare this to some other airlines operating the A350-1000:

  • Air Caraibes A350-1000s feature 429 seats in a three cabin layout (business, premium economy, and economy), which is otherwise the world’s highest density A350
  • Cathay Pacific A350-1000s feature 334 seats in a three cabin layout (business, premium economy, and economy)
  • Qatar Airways A350-1000s feature 327 seats in a two cabin layout (business and economy)

In Eco or Premium, a new travel experience awaits you.

The XWB (Extra Wide Body) aspect of French bee’s A350 ensures comfort for all passengers in both travel classes.

In both cabins, all seats enjoy an unprecedented ceiling height (the highest on the market) and larger windows to increase the perception of space on board.

French bee Fleet Airbus A350-900 Details and Pictures

French bee Fleet Airbus A350-900 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, French bee operates 4 extra wide body aircraft Airbus A350-900.

French Bee, the first French low-cost long-haul airline, has become the first airline to operate solely with Airbus’s newest aircraft, the A350-900 XWB.

While the Airbus A350 isn’t a rarity on operations across the Atlantic Ocean, its services with French bee provide a unique offering.

The low-cost carrier holds four units of the widebody within its fleet, heading to the likes of New York, San Francisco, and soon Los Angeles with the type.

While French bee isn’t the only A350 operator flying between Europe and the US, it is the only low-cost commercial airline to do so.

The new generation Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, developed specifically for this aircraft, make it possible to achieve significant fuel savings and to reduce CO2 emissions by 25 percent.

Particularly light thanks to the use of advanced materials and composites, the A350 XWB is equipped with wings, which change form over the course of the flight, like a bird, and revolutionary “winglets” (external extremity of the wing), which help to optimise the aerodynamics of the plane.

Thanks to these innovations, the A350 XWB can considerably reduce its carbon footprint.

French bee Fleet Airbus A350-900 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

The French bee Airbus A350-900 aircraft are configured with 35 recliner-style seats in Premium Class (Premium Blue) and 376 standard seats in Economy Class (Eco Blue).

All seats feature high-definition touchscreens for selecting audio and visual entertainment. Wi-Fi access is available via various purchase packages.

The French Bee website listed numerous seating types, each with its own cost:

  • Standard seat: middle and aisle seats in the rear cabins for $20
  • Seat sea view: window seats costing a little more at $25
  • Maxi leg seat: exit-row seats and seats with extra legroom cost $45
  • Duo seat: rows with only two seats in them cost $50. The only ones of these I saw were in the emergency-exit rows.
  • Cozy cabin seat: the first five rows of the economy cabin ahead of the boarding door. While the pitch is the same in these rows, French Bee charges $35 each for seats in this cabin.

French bee A350-900 Premium Blue

  • The Premium Class of French bee Airbus A350-900 comprises 35 seats.
  • 7 seats abreast – 2 – 3 – 2
  • Accessible with the Premium fare.
  • This aircraft operates flights on all French bee’s destinations

The characteristics of the “Premium Blue”:

  • A private cabin at the front of the aircraft
  • 36 inches of space between seats
  • 18-inch wide seat
  • Foot rest and leg rest to get the most out of your “leg max” seat
  • Adjustable headrest with 4 positions

  • On-board Wi-Fi option available
  • The Bluetique: duty-free articles available for purchase
  • The Blue Café: a full-range of à la carte snack and beverage options

Premium economy is arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration, spread across five rows.

Seats measure just 18 inches across, making them an inch narrower than the seats Singapore offers on the same plane — even though SQ’s are arranged in a more dense 2-4-2 configuration.

At just 18 inches wide with 36 inches of pitch, the seats didn’t feel much more spacious than, say, Economy Plus on a United 767, where you’ll find similar width and legroom.

French bee A350-900 Eco Blue

The ergonomic economy class seats have been carefully designed for you to be able to travel in comfort.

And yes, they are leather, because you deserve quality even at the lowest price!

  • The Economy Class of our Airbus A350-900 comprises 376 seats.
  • Accessible with Basic, Basic Plus and Smart fares.
  • This aircraft operates flights on all French bee’s destinations

The characteristics of the “Eco Blue”:

  • 10 seats abreast – 3 – 4 – 3
  • 32 inches of space between seats
  • 16-inch wide seat
  • Seat cushion with lumbar and under the knees support

Most Airbus A350 aircraft are configured with 3-3-3 seating, three sections of three seats each, in economy.

However, French Bee and its sister airline Air Caraïbes stand alone among the dozens of airlines operating the A350 in opting for a cramped 3-4-3 configuration.

This arrangement reduces seats to 16.75 inches wide, leaving just 16 inches between armrests.

Aisles measure a tight 16 inches wide.

Between the extra seat per row and no business or first-class cabin, French Bee A350 aircraft are fitted with a whopping 411 seats.

Airbus advertises the A350-900 as accommodating 325 passengers.

French Bee incorrectly advertises its economy cabin on its website.

It claims to have nine seats abreast in 3-3-3 seating instead of the actual 3-4-3 arrangement.

And there are 376 economy seats instead of the 350 seats it claims.

If you want a little more space, you’ll want to target rows 48 to 51.

The curvature of the plane narrows the cabin, so French Bee installed 3-3-3 seating.

While most of the extra space is added to the aisle, the seats are ever-so-slightly wider in these back seats.

Just note that there’s no overhead bin in the middle section of rows 47 to 51, due to the crew rest overhead.

The seat’s tray table measured 14 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep on the sides with a curve in the middle that reduced the depth to as little as 7.5 inches.

The tray table slid back by up to 3 inches.

The massive, 376-seat economy cabin had eight bathrooms, meaning one lavatory needed to serve up to 47 passengers.

There were two in the boarding-door galley, four in the middle galley and two in the rear galley.

Each seat was equipped with a sharp, 10-inch inflight entertainment screen with a modest selection of movies and TV shows.

Bamboo Airways Fleet Embraer E190 Details and Pictures

Bamboo Airways Fleet Embraer E190 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Bamboo Airways operates 5 super efficient narrow-body aircraft Embraer E190.

The Embraer E190 is a state-of-the-art jet aircraft version with a remarkable length, height and wingspan compared to other models in the same class.

The aircraft has a top speed of 871 km / h, a maximum range of 4,260 km.

According to a Facebook post by the airline, Bamboo Airways plans to start three routes to Con Dao – to Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Vinh – starting September 29 2020.

Following the launch of flights to Con Dao, the airline plans to use both jets to other domestic destinations in the country.

In a report by the state newspaper Nhan Dan, Bamboo Airways named other potential routes which could see the use of the E195 including Phu Quoc – Rach Gia, Ho Chi Minh City – Ca Mau, Da Nang – Dien Bien, and Da Nang – Con Dao.

Since starting operations in January of 2019, the Vietnam-based airline has grown its fleet to around 29 aircraft operating flights to 29 destinations in Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

The E195s will join the fleet which includes Airbus A320/A321 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

As part of Brazil-based Embraer’s E-Jet family, the E195 is a stretch version of the E170/E175 jets and the largest among the E-Jets.

Commonly used by regional airlines worldwide, the aircraft has a maximum range of around 4260km (2300nm).

Typical capacity range between 100 in dual-class to 124 for single-class configurations.

Bamboo Airways Fleet Embraer E190 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Bamboo Airways Embraer E190 cabin is intelligently designed, can transport up to 116 passengers, configured in 2 rows, 2 seats in a row, an aisle facilitating comfortable movement and rest in the cabin.

Business class is an airline class above economy and premium economy classes with upgraded amenities, service, and seating.

While business class is a significant upgrade over said economy, or the slightly cushier premium economy, it is still a step below the top-of-the-line first class.

In economy class: Exit rows, aisle or window seats, and anywhere close to the front are typically considered the best seats on board.

On a short business trip, you might want an aisle seat near the front of the plane so you can disembark as quickly as possible upon arrival.

Narrow-body aircraft Embraer E190 Bamboo Airways has two class configuration on-board (Business and Economy) with total of 99 seats.

With plans to use the aircraft on flights to the tourist attraction of Con Dao along the southeast coast of Vietnam, the E195s have a capacity of 99 passengers with 80 seats in a 2-2 configuration Popular (Economy) class and 19 Merchant (Business) class seats in a 1-1 configuration.

Bamboo Airways Fleet Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Details and Pictures

Bamboo Airways Fleet Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Bamboo Airways operates 3 wide-body aircraft Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Vietnamese startup Bamboo Airways has lost no time in putting its stunning 787-9 Dreamliner to work.

Received on the 22nd December 2019, it wrote Bamboo Airways’ name in the history books as the first privately owned airline in Vietnam to operate widebody aircraft.

The airline chose a three-cabin configuration with business, premium economy and economy class for this aircraft.

The Boeing 787’s body is designed as a one-piece barrel-shaped cylinder made from high-quality composite materials.

This allows for a lighter, simpler yet more powerful aircraft structure.

By the use of latest technologies, the plane produces less noise and emission, requires less maintenance and fuel consumption, while offering greater safety and comfort to passengers.

All of these come at no expense of performance as B787 can fly up to 14,140km non-stop – a powerful, yet eco-friendly construct.

Bamboo Airways Fleet Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

The brand new Bamboo Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is configured with 294 seats between three classes.

There is space for 26 in the business class cabin, 21 in premium economy and a total of 247 economy seats.

Bamboo Airways 787 Business is in a 1-2-1 layout, with a lie flat bed and privacy partitions between seats.

The seat was based on the Zodiac Cirrus outward facing model, which includes direct aisle access for every seat.

It’s similar to the one featured on the KLM 787 Dreamliner, as well as the second-gen Cathay Pacific A350 business class.

Bamboo Airways says that its business class product uses “high-quality leather and fabric from the world’s leading manufacturers such as Botany Weaving (Ireland) and Lantal.”

The design is certainly easy on the eye, with the walnut accents making for a luxurious experience.

Each seat transforms into a fully-flat bed at the hold of a button.

However, this was noticeably different from the Collins Aerospace Super Diamond seat shown on the Bamboo Airways’ website (which currently flies the direct Melbourne to Hanoi route).

Instead of an earthy brown and beige palette, this aircraft had a navy blue and cream colour scheme with patterned cloth seat, brushed metal buttons and trims, and a grey fold-out tray table.

A padded footrest echoed the chair, with a small shelf for shoes beneath.

The seat back felt slightly contoured in the middle, almost like a racing bucket seat, which could potentially be uncomfortable for travellers who don’t fit perfectly into the snug, particularly on a flight of this duration.

A tray table slid out from under the static benchtop on an angle, and then folded out forwards.

It didn’t slide closer, but the seat controls allowed you to move forward enough to do some work without stretching or avoid wearing lunch on your lap.

Storage wise, there was a small triangular tray above the magazine and safety instructions, a deep compartment on the aisle side of the seat, and a nook with a hook for headphones.

Aside from that, the only options were to keep things on the table or up in the overhead locker.

A universal AC power outlet and USB charger port were also included for charging devices.

In the fully-reclined position, the seat has a slight hump in the middle, meaning you were better off leaving it on a slight angle.

A mattress topper – like the one Cathay Pacific rolled out on these seats in 2019 – would likely solve this issue.

Further back in the cabin, Bamboo Airways 787’s premium economy cabin takes up three rows of seats, enough space for 21 passengers.

Premium seat is the surprise that Bamboo Airways would like to give passenger on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Premium seat row has the 38 inch pitch (about 1m) – more larger than the normal economy seats.

BAV’s B787 fleet is including:

  • A818 and A819 with 26 Business seats / 21 Special seats / 247 Economy seats. In particular, 21 Especially Rockwell Collins * MiQ seats with distance of up to nearly 1 meter more spacious than ordinary chairs, the seat backrest is more than 20 cm, allocated with diagram 2-3-2, there is a baffle between the Economy compartment and the Business one.
  • A829 includes 30 Business seats / 36 Special seats / 226 Economy seats. In particular, 36 seats are Zodiac type similiar to ordinary Economy seats, but with a wider distance of 91.44 cm, the reclining seat is about 15.24 cm, allocated with diagram 3-3-3, with no curtain separating the Special Economy compartment and the Business one.

It’s laid out in a 2-3-2 configuration, with a pitch of 38” between seats.

The airline has gone for the Rockwell Collins premium economy seat, which offers a substantial recline of around 8”.

The seats also have footrests, headrests and coat hanger pegs.

The footrest and back support can both be controlled from the IFE screen, and every seat has a headphone jack, power socket and USB port.

Back in economy, the airline provides a 32” pitch in all seats which should make for a comfortable journey.

The standard 3-3-3 layout is split across two cabins with bathrooms in between.
