Air China Fleet Airbus A330-300 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Air China’s Airbus A330-300 seats 301 passengers in a three class configuration with 30 Business Class seats, 16 Premium Economy seats, and 255 Economy seats.

The Business Cabin was absolutely basic with angled seats and a tiny screen in a 2-2-2 configuration.

The Premium Economy Class comes in a 2-4-2 configuration, just as the main Economy Cabin, however it has Personal Entertainment screens and power outlets.

Air China Airbus A330-300 operates a 2-2-2 Business Class layout and it offers 58 inches of seat pitch and 21 inches of seat width (this pales in comparison to the regional product that Singapore Airlines operate on its fleet of A330s which offers a seat width of 24.5 and a seat pitch of 60).

Premium economy has the same price as normal economy class, but seats in this cabin are wider than economy and have a seat pitch of 37 inches, up to six inches more than normal.

Air China’s A330-300 Economy Class comes in 2-4-2 configuration with 255 seats in total.

The only form of entertainment are the overhead screens.

The seats are very worn out and not too comfortable. The seats feature a power point though.

Air China Fleet Airbus A330-200 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Air China flies their wide-body aircraft Airbus A330-200 on two different cabin configuration.

Air China’s Airbus A330-200 first layout seats 237 passengers in a two class configuration with 30 Business seats and 207 Economy seats.

Air China’s Airbus A330-200 second layout seats 284 passengers in a two class configuration of 12 Business seats and 272 Economy seats.

Not commonly operated throughout the fleet, the A330-200 contains business class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration.

These seats are 21 inches wide and 80 inches long in bed mode.

There are 30 business class seats in this cabin.

The lavatories are located on the left hand side of the aircraft while the galleys are in the middle of the right side of the aircraft.

This means that the best seats in this layout will be in 15J and 15L.

You won’t experience much foot traffic or noise when seated there.

Economy seats are mostly arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration, are 18 inches wide, and 32 inches in pitch.

There are a total of 207 economy seats on this aircraft.

The most preferential seats would be 32D, 32H, 44A/C, 43D/E/F/H, and 43J/L due to the extra legroom you’ll have access to.

Legroom, comfort, and personal space are the major concerns in economy, so you’ll be best-suited reserving a seat that allows you to stretch out as much as possible.

Boeing 747 89L B 2479 Air China at Beijing Capital International Airport

Air China Fleet Boeing 747-8i Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Air China operates 7 wide-body aircraft Boeing 747-8i.

Air China configured their Boeing 747-8i with four class cabin. There’s first class, business class, premium economy, and economy class.

On this fleet, Air China configured 1 aircraft (B-2479) as a VIP presidential aircraft to replace the older Boeing 747-400 as a Chinese Air Force One.

The first order for the 747-8 Intercontinental was placed by an undisclosed VIP customer in May 2006.

Lufthansa became the first airline to order the 747-8 Intercontinental on December 6, 2006.

In December 2009, Korean Air announced the order of five 747-8Is.

Boeing stated firm configuration for the −8 was reached in November 2007.

The 747-8 is the largest 747 version, the largest commercial aircraft built in the United States, and the longest operational passenger aircraft in the world.

Air China’s Boeing 747-8i is a 4-class aircraft that seats a total of 365 passengers.

This aircraft features 12 First Class open suites, 54 Business Class flat seats, 66 Premium Economy seats, and 292 standard Economy Class seats.

There are a total of 12 first class seats across 3 rows in a 1-2-1 configuration.

Each open suite seat measures up at 26.5 inches wide and 83 inches in pitch.

These large first class seats are fully lie-flat and have direct aisle access.

Ordinarily, the first class cabin on the 747 is located in the nose.

But the 747-8i has a rather peculiar positioning of the first class cabin.

The cabin on the 747-8i is located on the lower deck, behind the business class cabin, but in front of the premium economy cabin.

The Boeing 747-8i contains 54 business class seats split up into 2 cabins on the upper and lower decks of the plane.

Each of these seats is identical in size to the business class seats on the 787-9: 21 inches wide and 60 inches in pitch.

There are a total of 66 premium economy seats in a 3-4-3 configuration on Air China Boeing 747-8i.

Each seat is 18.3-19.3 inches wide and 36-38 inches in pitch.

This means that the premium economy seat is up to 1 inch narrower than the same seat on the 787-9, which is not ideal.

The Air China 747-8i has 233 economy seats, each of which are 18 inches wide and 31-33 inches in pitch.

The best seats are located in row 48 because of the extra legroom that you’ll experience.

Air China Fleet Boeing 777-300ER Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Air China Boeing 777-300ER features 311 seats in a 3-class configuration.

There are 8 seats in First Class, 42 seats in Business Class, and 261 seats in Economy Class.

First Class features Mercury lie flat seats while Business Class features Diamon lie flat seats.

Most A, B, D, H, K, and L seats in Economy Class have entertainment boxes beneath the seat in front, restricting legroom and underseat storage space.

The first class cabin on the 777-300ER is more intimate, with only 8 seats spread across 2 rows in a 1-2-1 configuration.

The seats each measure up at 23 inches in width and 80 inches in pitch and bed length.

As you can tell, the seats on the 777-300ER are 3.5 inches narrower and 3 inches shorter in pitch and bed length compared to the 747-8.

This is to be expected since the 747-8 is wider than the 777-300ER.

There’s one lavatory located at the front left side of the first class cabin and two lavatories located behind the first class cabin.

The best seat for solo travelers is 1L, which is as far as possible from the lavatories and galleys.

Furthermore, it’s a window seat, so you’ll be able to enjoy the view as much as possible.

For those traveling with a companion, you’ll want to select 1D and 1H and avoid row 2.

Air China’s 777-300ER contains 42 fully lie-flat business class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration.

Window seats don’t have direct aisle access, which can limit passenger’s movement.

The seats are 22 inches wide and 60 inches in pitch.

The business class lavatories and galley are located at the front of the cabin.

Right behind row 17 is the economy cabin, so the best seats will likely be in row 16 due to the balance between distance from the lavatories and distance from the economy cabin.

The economy class seats are 18 inches wide and 32 inches in pitch.

The economy cabin is configured in a 3-3-3 arrangement, with a total of 261 economy seats.

There are two lavatories and zero galleys near row 34, while the exit row seats in row 47 are next to two lavatories and a galley.
