First class seats have 38 inches pitch and 20.5 inches width.

These seats are located in the first 5 rows and have 2-2 configuration.

Because of the bulkhead located in front the legroom of the seats of the 1st row is limited but due to the fact that that there are no seats in front passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra personal space.

Among some other disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and noise from lavatory and galley area located in front.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 5th row is close location to the lavatories located behind.

The seats of the first class are divided from the seats of Economy Plus class with lavatory area on the one side and with a bulkhead on another side.

The seats of Economy plus class have 35 inches pitch and 18 inches width.

There are totally 42 seats here.

Congregation of passengers near lavatories that are located close to the seat 7D will cause discomfort to passengers of these seats as well as reduced width and no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers of the seats 7E and 7F will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

These seats are considered the best seats in this class.

However, as the tray tables are built-in in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little. Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 8ABC have the following disadvantages: limited legroom, close location of the lavatories, reduced width because the armrests are immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class may accommodate 117 passengers.

The seats of the economy class have 31 inches pitch and 18 inches width.

Due to the exit row located behind the seats of the 15th row have limited recline.

As the seats of the 20th row are located between two exit rows, on the one hand they offer extra legroom but on the other are less reclining than standard.

These seats are the seats of Economy Plus class as well as the seats of the 21st row that are considered good seats.

Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to additional legroom and personal space.

The only disadvantage of the seats 38C and 38D is proximity of the lavatories and galley.

Because of the wall located behind the seats of the 39th row have limited recline.

Among other disadvantages because of which these seats are considered bad seats are: noise from the lavatories and galley located behind and reduced personal space when the seats in front are reclined.

United Airlines Fleet Boeing 737-900ER Details and Pictures. To this day, United Airlines operated 136 narrow body extended range aircraft Boeing 737-900ER.

Three B737-900ER aircraft painted in Eco Skies, Special Olympics 50th Anniversary, and Continental Retro liveries.

The Boeing 737-900ER (ER for extended range), which was called the 737-900X prior to launch, is the newest addition and the largest variant of the Boeing 737 NG line and was introduced to meet the range and passenger capacity of the discontinued 757-200 and to directly compete with the Airbus A321.

An additional pair of exit doors and a flat rear pressure bulkhead increased seating capacity to 180 passengers in a 2-class configuration. It can accommodate up to 220 passengers.

Some airlines seal the additional exit. Additional fuel capacity and standard winglets improved range to that of other 737NG variants (737-700, 737-800, and 737-900).

United Airlines Fleet Boeing 737-900 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, United Airlines operated 12 narrow body aircraft Boeing 737-900 (non-ER).

Boeing 737-900 is the longest modification of 737 Next Generation family and has no comparable counterparts in previous family of 737 Classic airlines.

As to the measurements it is closer to Boeing 757 and Airbus A321.

This modification may accommodate up to 189 passengers.

Though Boeing 737-900 is longer than Boeing 737-800 by 2.6 meters, the number of passenger seats was limited because of insufficient number of emergency exits.

United Airlines Fleet Boeing 737-900 Cabin Specification and Class Configuration

First class consists of 5 rows of seats that have 2-2 configuration.

The seats of the 1st row are located close to the galleys and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 5A and 5B are considered bad seats as they are not reclining and are located close to the lavatories.

The other seats of the 5th row, i.e. the seats 5E and 5F have limited recline, proximity of the lavatories may be bothersome.

Economy Plus class includes 51 seats most of them have 3-3 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 7th row will feel comfortable thanks to the extra legroom.

Other passengers tend to gather in this area in order to visit lavatories.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

The seats 8ABC have less space for passengers’ legs.

Among other disadvantages: proximity of the lavatories, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats.

The seats 9A has misaligned window. But seats 11A, 12A and 12F have no windows.

The seats of the 15th row do not recline because of the exit row located behind.

As the seats of the 20th row are located between two exit rows, these seats have extra legroom but at the same time are less reclining or not reclining at all.

The seats 21A and 21F have extra space for passengers’ legs due to the exit row located in front.

However, these seats have short armrests that are attached to the exit doors and this may be bothersome.

The other seats of the 21st row, i.e. the seats 21BC and 21DE are considered the best seats as they have extra legroom.

Economy class has 16 seats per 6 seats in each.

All the seats of this class are standard except two last rows.

The seats of the 37th and 38th row are 1 inch narrower due to the curvature at the tails of the aircraft.

Close location of the galleys and lavatories may represent a problem.

As the seats of the last 38th row have also limited recline, these seats are considered bad seats.

United Airlines Boeing 737-800 Version 1 Seat map and Seating Chart (16/138 configuration)

Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 800 V1 United Airlines
Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 800 V1 United Airlines

This airplane has 152 seats.

First class consists of 5 rows of seats that have 2-2 configuration.

The seats of the 1st row have less space for passengers’ legs because of the position of the bulkhead.

As the tray tables are in the armrests, the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Close location of the galley may also represent a problem.

These seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats of the 5th row are less reclining because of the wall located behind.

Proximity of the lavatory may be bothersome.

Economy class may transport 132 passengers.

The seats of the rows 7-14 are reserved for OnePass Elite members and become available for other passengers within 24 hours prior the flight.

The seats of the 7th row as well as the seats 8ABC are narrower than standard as the tray tables are built-in the armrests.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Proximity of the lavatories may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 7D and 8C.

The seats 10A, 11A and 11F have no windows.

The seats of the 14th row are less reclining as behind them exit row is located.

As the seats of the 20th row are located between two exit rows they have extra legroom but at the same time are less reclining.

Also these seats are narrower and less padded than other standard seats.

The seats of these row are designated Extra Legroom Seats and may be reserved by any passenger within 24 hours prior the flight for an additional charge.

Platinum and Gold-Elite members may reserve these seats at any time.

One Pass Elite members may choose these seats with no additional fee.

The seats of the 21st row are considered good seats as passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to the extra space for their legs.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

The seats of the last 3 rows, i.e. rows 35-37 have reduced width.

The seats 35C and 35D have movable armrests.

Close location of the lavatories may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of 36th and 37th rows.

Also the seats of the last 37th row have limited recline.

United Airlines Boeing 737-800 Version 2 Seat map and Seating Chart (16/150 configuration)

Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 800 V2 United Airlines
Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 800 V2 United Airlines

This cabin version features 160 seats.

First class may transport 16 passengers in 4 rows.

The seats here have 2-2 configuration and have 7.5 degree recline.

All these seats are standard, only the seats of the first row have some peculiarities.

So, the seats of the first row have less legroom because of the bulkhead position.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The Economy class includes 24 rows of seats per 6 seats in each.

The seats of the 7th row are standard but with some disadvantages such as: reduced width of the seats as they tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seat 11A is missing a window.

As behind the seats of the 15th row exit row is located these seats are less reclining or not reclining at all.

Due to the fact that the seats of the 20th row are located between to exit rows these seats have both advantage, such as extra space for passengers’ legs, and such a disadvantage as limited or no recline.

The seats of the seats of 21st row are considered the best seats as they have extra legroom.

However, the width of these seats is reduced a little as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

Passengers of the seats of the rows 35-37 will feel discomfort because of the close location of the lavatories.

Also due to the curvature of the airplane’s tail the width of these seats is reduced a little.

In addition the seats of the 37th row have limited recline and considering all these disadvantages these seats are considered bad seats.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 800 V3 Economy Plus United Airlines
Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 800 V3 Economy Plus United Airlines

The third version of Boeing 737-800 has 154 seats divided into three classes.

First class may transport 16 passengers.

The seats 1A and 1B have extra legroom thanks to the cutout in the bulkhead.

However, these seats have no footrests that other seats of the first class have.

Also, these seats are a little narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The other two seats of the 1st row, i.e. the seats 1E and 1F on the contrary have less space for passengers’ legs because of the bulkhead position.

Other disadvantages are the same: lack of footrests, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats.

Economy Plus class consists of 8 rows of seats that have 3-3 configuration.

The first row of the Economy Plus class, i.e. the seats of the 7th row are considered good seats as passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom.

But as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable, the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

The seats 10A and 10F are standard but have misaligned windows.

But the seats 11A, 11 F and 12A, 12F have no windows at all.

The seats of the 15th row are not reclining as behind them is located exit row.

Passengers of the seats of 20th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs due to the exit row located in front but at the same time they have limited or no recline due to another exit row located behind.

The seats 21A and 21F have extra space for passengers’ legs thanks to the exit row in front.

However, these seats are not reclining.

Also window-side armrests are smaller than standard and are built-in the exit door. The seat cushion of these seats is also thinner.

The best seats on the airplane are considered the seats 21BC and 21DE as these seats have extra legroom and no disadvantages.

Economy class includes 15 rows of seats per 6 in each.

In some versions of Boeing 737-800 the seats of the 23rd row have restricted overhead storage as entertainment equipment is stored there.

When this equipment is used it makes noise that may disturb passengers of these seats.

Because of the curvature of the airplane’s tail the seats of the rows 35-37 have reduced width.

Close location of the lavatories and galleys may also represent a problem for passengers of these seats.

The overhead bins of the seats of 35ABC and 36ABC are used for emergency equipment and crew luggage.

The seats 35CD and 36CD have movable armrests.

The seats of the last 37th row have limited recline and that is why these seats are considered bad seats.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 800 V4 Micronesia United Airlines

The fourth version of Boeing 737-800 may transport 155 passengers.

This version of aircraft makes part of United Airline’s Micronesian sub fleet.

First class consists of 14 seats.

The seats 1EF are narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

Also there is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing.

Passengers of the seats 2AB will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

However, these seats have no floor storage during takeoff and landing and their width is slightly reduced.

Economy class has 24 rows of seats, all of them, except the last row, have 3-3 configuration.

The seats of the 7th row have the same disadvantages as the seats of the first row, i.e.: reduced width of the seats and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Because of the exit row located behind, the seats of the 15th row are less reclining.

Location of the seats of 20th row between two exit rows provides these seats with extra legroom, but on the other hand these seats are less or not reclining at all.

The best seats on this airplane are the seats of the 21st row.

Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to the extra legroom.

Proximity of the lavatories and galleys may represent a problem for passengers of the seats 35C, 36ABCD and of the 37th row.

As the seats 36ABC and 37DEF are located in the last rows of the aircraft they may have limited or no recline.

United Airlines Fleet Narrow Body Aircraft Boeing 737-700 Seating Chart and Seat Maps Details

United Airlines Boeing 737-700 (737) Domestic

Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 700 Domestic United Airlines
Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 700 Domestic United Airlines

There are three versions of United’s 737-700. This version seats a total of 118 passengers and includes power ports for both First and Economy Plus seats.

All 737-700 Domestic aircrafts in this fleet are outfitted with United’s Economy Plus class of service featuring up to 5″ of extra seat pitch.

Row numbering is not sequential aboard all of United’s 737 fleet.

The first class consists of 3 rows of seats that have 2-2 configuration.

The seats 1A and 1B are considered good seats as they have some extra legroom as the bulkhead has a small cutout.

Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and slightly restricted width of the seats.

The seats 1E and 1F have restricted space for passengers’ legs, are narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the galleys.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 3rd row is limited recline.

Economy Plus class has 8 rows of seats.

The seats of the 7th row have no floor storage during take-off and landing and a narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrest.

The seats 10A and 10F are missing windows.

As behind the seats of the 12th row exit row is located, they are less reclining.

The seats 20BC and 20DE are perfect for passengers who are traveling with a partner.

These seats have extra shoulder room as there are no window seats in these row.

But these seats do not recline.

Passengers of the seats 21A and 21F will take advantage of extra space for their legs due to the missing seats in front.

At the same time under seat storage and TV are two rows away from these seats.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

The other seats of the 21st row (BCDE) have some extra space as the seats in front do not recline.

Economy class may transport 66 passengers.

It has 11 rows of seats that have 3-3 configuration.

The seats of the last 3 rows, i.e. 30th-32nd rows are 1 inch narrower than other standard seats on the airplane because of the curvature of the airplane’s tail.

The seats of the last 32nd row may not recline because of the wall behind.

Overhead bins are used for crew members’ purposes.

Other passengers tend to gather in this area in order to visit lavatories.

That is why these seats are considered bad seats.

There are three versions of United’s 737-700. This version seats a total of 124 passengers and does not include power ports for First, Economy Plus, or Economy seats.

There are only 8 Premium Economy seats in this configuration.

Row 7 has extra legroom and can be reserved as Economy Plus seats.

Exit seats 21 A,F are also Economy Plus seats with extra legroom.

Row numbering is not sequential aboard all of United’s 737 fleet.

This version is a former Continental aircraft that still operates in United’s Micronesian sub-fleet.

Currently United is in the process of reconfiguring this version and expects to complete this reconfiguration by the end of 2013.

First class includes 12 seats located in 3 rows per 4 seats in each.

The seats 1A and 1B have extra space for passengers’ legs thanks to the cutout in the bulkhead.

However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are a little narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

The seats 1E and 1F have the same disadvantages as the seats 1A and 1B plus restricted legroom.

Economy class has 112 seats.

The seats of the 7th row have such disadvantages as: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats.

The seats 10A and 10F have no windows.

The seats of the 14th row are less reclining.

The seats of the 20th row are ideal for passengers who are traveling with a partner.

These seats are not reclining as exit row is located behind.

At the same time these seats have extra space for shoulders as there are no windows seats at this row.

Passengers of the seats 21A and 21F will take advantage of extra legroom as there are no seats in front.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

The seats of the last three rows (30-32) have reduced width of the seats as the tail of the airplane has a curvature.

Proximity of the lavatories may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of the 32nd row.

These seats also have no overhead storage and have limited or no recline.

United Airlines Boeing 737-700 (737) V3

There are three versions of United’s 737-700. This version seats a total of 126 passengers.

There are 12 United Business Seats, 36 Economy Plus and 78 Economy seats in this configuration.

Row numbering is not sequential aboard all of United’s 737 fleet.
