The A320-200 has a 2-2 configuration in the Pearl Business section and a 3-3 configuration in the Coral Economy section.

Etihad Airways uses the following naming convention: Pearl Business for Business Class and Coral Economy for Economy Class.

This aircraft flies with 16 seats of Business Class and 120 seats of Economy Class.

The planes feature Etihad’s regional business class.

Rather than semi-private lie-flat seats with direct aisle access, the airline’s regional narrow-body planes offer cushy recliners in a 2-2 layout.

It’s similar to domestic first class in the US, except that there’s much more pitch, or legroom, and they’re generally more comfortable.

There are also extendable leg and footrests.

Coupled with the extra legroom, this was a huge upgrade over US domestic first class.

Because the seat in front of you is so far away, the in-flight entertainment screen is mounted onto a swinging arm that tucks away in your armrest.

Each seat has a universal power outlet, which, along with the headphone jack for the in-flight entertainment system, is located between the two passengers.

A remote control for the entertainment system is tucked into the base of the seats’ armrests, and can be pulled out and retracted.

The seat recline and leg-rest are motorized — there’s an electronic control panel in the other armrest.

This airplane offers 136 seats of two classes: 16 in business class and 120 in economy.

First 4 rows of seats are the seats of business class per 4 seats in each.

The seats of the 1st row offer extra legroom.

Among disadvantages of these seats: reduced width, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and the noise from the galley and lavatory located in front.

Economy class seats have 3-3 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 6th row will feel comfortable thanks to additional space for their legs.

As the tray tables are in the armrests, he width of these seats is reduced a little.

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

Because of the exit row located behind, the seats of the 8th row are less reclining.

Location of the seats of the 9th row between two exit rows, on the one hand provides these seats with extra legroom, but on the other hand these seats are not reclining.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are narrower than standard.

The last section of economy class seats contains 16 rows.

Due to the exit row located in front the seats of the 10th row have extra legroom.

But as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable, the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Another disadvantage of these seats is lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 24C and 24D and the seats of the 25th row in order to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Passengers of the seats 25ABC and 25DEF will be among the last to deplane upon arrival.

Also these seats have limited recline. That is why these seats are considered bad seats.
