Singapore Airlines configured their Airbus A350-900 on three different cabin layout configuration.
The configuration is based on its flying range itself, medium haul, long haul, and the ultra long range (ULR).
There’s 253 seats (Long Haul), 161 seats (Ultra Long Range), and 303 seats (Medium Haul).
The long-haul Singapore Airlines A350-900 is configured with 42 flat-bed business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with 26 located between doors 1 and 2 and a smaller cabin of 16 seats behind door 2.
Following that are 24 premium economy in 2-4-2 and 253 economy in 3-3-3.
Singapore Airlines also has a regional configured A350-900 which has 40 flat-bed business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration as installed in the carrier’s Boeing 787-10 aircraft and 263 economy seats.
Anyone who has flown Singapore’s long-range 777 will find the seat and cabin very familiar.
The bulkhead seats provide so much extra space thanks to a wide ottoman to rest your feet on.
There are no overhead bins down the center of their business class cabins, yet the cabin doesn’t feel spacious as the seats seem quite bulky.
The cabin feels incredibly spacious, thanks to the lack of overhead bins in the middle of the plane.
The more intimate forward business-class cabin only has five rows of seats.
The main business-class cabin is double the size, with 10 rows of seats.
At 28 inches wide, these are some of the widest business-class seats in the industry.
The premium economy cabin on Singapore’s A350-900ULR is mostly 2-4-2, although it becomes 1-4-1 for its last three rows.
The bulkhead seats provide ample leg room.
Each premium economy seat had 38-inch pitch, which became 33 inches when the passenger ahead of you reclined.

The long haul layout of SQ A350-900 configured with 3 class, Business, Premium Eocnomy, and Economy class.
The seats of the first 11 rows of Airbus A350-900 contain seats of business class.
There are totally 42 flat bed seats here that have 180 degrees recline, i.e. are transformed into a fully bed.
Business class seats are divided into 2 sections: First section offers 26 seats.
Only the seats of the first and the last rows of the section, i.e. the seats of the 11th row and of the seats 17A, 17K and 18DF have such a disadvantage as close location of the galleys and lavatories.
Behind the exit row 4 more rows of business class are located.
These seats have 1-2-1 configuration.
Passengers of the seats of the 19th row will take advantage of extra legroom.
For passengers traveling with infants these seats offer bassinets.
However, the noise from the galleys located in front may be bothersome.
Premium economy class may accommodate 24 passengers.
The seats of premium economy class are located in 3 rows and have 2-4-2 configuration.
The seats of the 31st row are considered the best seats because they provide additional legroom for passengers.
But these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats 31DEFG because these seats have bassinets.
The seats 33D and 33G are often bumped by service carts and other passengers passing by.
Reduced width is another disadvantage of these seats.
Economy class may transport 187 passengers.
It is separated into two sections.
First section consists of 6 rows of seats.
There are totally 51 seats here.
Passengers of the seats of the 41st row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.
For passengers with babies these seats offer bassinets.
These seats are considered the best seats of the economy class.
As the tray tables are video monitors are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.
Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Passengers tend to gather in order to visit lavatories in the area of the seats 45DEG, 46ABC and 46HJK causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.
Behind the exit row second section of economy class seats is located.
Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 47th row offer extra legroom.
Among disadvantages: location of the lavatories in front, reduced width of the seats and no floor storage during take-off and landing.
As there are no seats in front the seats 48A and 48K these seats offer additional legroom to passengers.
These seats are considered good seats.
However, these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Limited recline and the noise from the galleys and lavatory located behind make the seats 61ABC, 61HJK and 62DEG bad seats.
