SWISS Fleet Bombardier CS300 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, SWISS operated 15 narrow-body Bombardier CSeries CS300 (BD-500-1A11) aircraft.

The Bombardier CS300 is largest version of CSeries family aircraft.

The smallest is Bombardier CS100.

The larger CS300 that can seat 130 to 140 passengers in a standard layout will be known as the A220-300.

The new Bombardier CS300 fully fits the new sustainability requirements set by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation).

Like the CS100 version, the CS300’s configurable cabin provides two flex zones, allowing operators to benefit from fully customisable modular cabin elements, including stowage areas and partitions, based on their specific needs.

This CS300 features a 2 class configuration with 30 Business Class seats and 115 Economy Class seats.

SWISS blocks all C and E seats in Business Class to provide a sense of more space.

The aircraft is equipped with 145 seats of the German based manufacturer ZIM FLUGSITZ.

ZIM developed the seats especially for SWISS and offers with a new design of a one-arm meal table more passenger comfort.

SWISS ordered 4.000 seats for in total 30 Bombardier aircrafts.

For the next 12 month the flying artwork will be visible throughout Europe.

Business class offers 30 recliner seats.

These seats are located in the first 11 rows and have 2-3 configuration.

C and E seats of the rows 1-6 are blocked.

The noise from the galleys and lavatory located in front may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the first row.

Due to the exit row located behind the seats of the 11th row have limited recline.

Behind the exit row 18 rows of economy class seats are located.

The seats have 2-3 configuration, so there are totally 115 seats here.

The seats of the 12th row are considered the best seats.

Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom and personal space because the seats in front have limited recline.

The only disadvantage of the seats 29C and 29D is proximity to the lavatory and galley area.

Limited recline, reduced personal space and noise from the lavatories and galleys located behind make the seats of the 30th row bad seats.
