American Airlines Fleet Boeing 737 MAX 8 Details and Pictures.American Airlines added the Boeing 737 MAX 8 to their fleet in 2017. American Airlines was the second US airline to get the 737 MAX 8 aircraft, taking delivery in late September of its first of 100 aircraft it ordered. (They’re all MAX 8 variants — the jet comes in four sizes, from MAX 7 to MAX 10, seating up to 200-plus passengers).
Both 737 MAX 8 aircraft (registration N324RA and N304RB) were placed into service between Miami (MIA) and New York City’s LaGuardia (LGA). The three-hour, 1,097-mile flight just scratches the surface of what the aircraft is capable of doing; the MAX 8 can fly almost four times as long nonstop with a full load.
American Airlines operated 24 Boeing 737 MAX 8, and 10 aircraft still on order and planned to replace older Boeing 737-800. Currently, American Airlines grounding their Boeing 737 MAX 8 after Ethiopian Airlines incident.

Boeing 737 Max 8 American Airlines Seating Plan
Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 737 Max 8 American Airlines
First class offers 16 recliner seats located in the first 4 rows. The seats of the first class have 2-2 configuration.
Passengers of the seats of the 1st row may feel some discomfort due to a slightly limited legroom because of the bulkhead located in front, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and close location of the lavatory and galley in front.
However, passengers of these seats may take advantage of some extra personal space because there are no reclining seats in front.
The seats of the 4th row are the seats of the last row in first class section.
As there is no bulkhead behind these seats that separates first class seats from main cabin extra section passengers of these seats may be disturbed during the flight by the noise from the main cabin extra section.
Main cabin extra has 30 standard seats that are located in 5 rows per 6 seats in each. These seats are located in two sections. First section contains 3 rows.
All the seats of main cabin extra offer extra legroom and these seats may be booked for an additional fee.
As there is no bulkhead in front of seats of the 8th row the tray tables of these seats are located in the armrests that is why the width of these seats is reduced a little.
Behind 3 rows of main cabin extra 5 rows of main cabin seats are located. These seats have 3-3 configuration. Due to missing windows the seats 12A and 12F are considered bad seats.
The only disadvantage of the seats 13A and 13F are misaligned widows.
Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 15th row are less reclining than standard.
Behind the other 2 exit rows 2 more rows of main cabin extra are located.
Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 16th row have limited recline but at the same time these seats have a little more personal space because the seats in front are less reclining.
The seats of the 17th row are considered the best seats because they offer not only extra legroom but also extra personal space.
Behind the last row of main cabin extra 16 rows of main cabin are located. These seats have 3-3 configuration. All these seats are standard. Only 8 seats located in the last two rows have some disadvantages.
The only disadvantage of the seats 32C and 32D is location of the galley and lavatory behind. It is also one of the disadvantages of the seats of the last 33rd row.
Among other disadvantages of these seats: limited recline and limited personal space when the seats in front are reclined. These seats are bad seats.

American Airlines Boeing 737-800 Cabin Configuration Version 1 – 160 seats
Version-1 of Boeing 737-800 displays of 160 seats.
16 of them are for passengers of the First Class, 30 are in Main Cabin Extra and 114 in Economy class.
American Airlines use these airplanes mainly for trips inside the country.
The seats from 1A to 1F of the business class have less space in front of them because of the bulkhead that is located in front of them and plus there is no floor storage during take-off and landing.
The seats of the 7th row also have less space for the same reason as the seats of the 1st row.
American Airlines 737-800 Main Cabin Extra seats photos @SANspotter
Also there can be not enough room for passengers’ hand language as overhead bin may be used by airplane equipment.
Seats 10A and 10E have such a peculiarity as missing window.
However, these seats were denoted Preferred Seats and are often reserved for elite passengers.
And for booking this seat an extra charge is imposed.
The seats 12A and 12E were also denoted Preferred Seats.
They have misaligned windows.
Seats of the 13th row are located in front of Emergency Exits and may be not reclining.
American Airlines 737-800 Main Cabin photos @SANspotter
Nevertheless these seats are also Preferred Seats and require reservation with extra charge.
The seats of the 14th and 15th row are located in front of Emergency Exits.
That is why passengers of these seats may take advantage of extra room for their legs.
But the seats of the 14th row don’t recline and the seats of the 15th row have limited recline and passengers of these seats may get cold by the exits during the flight.
Seats 29C and 29D are standard sears, but the close position of lavatories and galleys may be bothersome as well as for the passengers of the last, 30th row.
The seats from 30A to 30F are considered bad seats.

American Airlines Boeing 737-800 Cabin Configuration Version 2 – 160 seats
Version-2 of Boeing 737-800 is new and represents MCE configuration.
Cabin of this Boeing 737-800 may accommodate 150 passengers: 16 seats are for First Class passengers, 48 seats are situated in Main Cabin Extra and 86 seats in Economy class.
The First class seats 3A, 3B, 3E and 3F (the seats of the 1st row) have no floor storage during take-off and landing and the position of the bulkhead in front of these seats is uncomfortable for passengers.
American Airlines 737-800 Main Cabin Extra seats photos @SANspotter
The seats of the 1st row of Main Cabin Extra (seats from 8A to 8F) have extra space for passengers’ legs but the seats are little narrower as the tray tables are built into the armrests.
Also there is less space for hand-luggage as there is no floor storage here during take-off and landing and the overhead bins may be also reserved for airplane equipment.
The seats 10A and 10F have no windows.
The seats 12A and 12F have misaligned windows.
American Airlines 737-800 Main Cabin Extra Seat pitch @SANspotter
The seats of 13th row have such a disadvantage as non-reclining option due to the Emergency exit behind them.
The seats of the 14th and 15th row feature extra space in front of them due to the Emergency Exits located in front of them.
However, the width of these seats is reduced as the tray table are in the armrests and make them immovable.
Also passengers of these seats may get cold during the flight.
The seats 16A, 16C, 16 D and 16F as well as the same seats of 17th row have extra room around them due to the missing middle seats.
American Airlines 737-800 Main Cabin Extra seat backs photos
However, these seats have immovable armrests.
The seats 29C and 29D and the seats of the last row of the plane (30th row) have such a disadvantage as proximity of WC and galleys.

Seat map of the Airbus A330-300 Seating Chart Configuration
This configuration of Airbus A330 is divided into two classes with total amount of 291 seats: Business class with 28 seats and Economy class of 263 seats.
All the seats of business class are standard, but the seats of the 1st and 7th row (the last row of Business class) have some warnings.
More specifically, these seats are located near lavatories and galleys and this fact may cause inconvenience for passengers seating in these rows.
The first row of Economy class (the seats of the 8th row) are good seats with some remarks. They are good because they provide extra room for passengers’ legs.
But they are also located close to WC and galleys and this may disturb passengers of these seats as there always will gather other passengers of the Airbus A330-300. The same thing applies to the seats of the 25th row.
The seats 12A and 12H are considered bad seats as they don’t have a window.
The seats from 24A to 24H are also bad as behind them bulkhead is located what makes these seats either less reclining or not reclining at all.
Proximity of lavatories may be also annoying. The seats 40A, 40B, 40G and 40H as well as the seats 41C, 41D and 41F have similar disadvantages.
Seats 37C, 37D and 37F have less space for passengers’ legs and the armrest of these seats is immovable as the tray tables are built into them. This fact reduces the width of the seats.

The seats of the 1st row: seats 1A, 1C, 1F and 1H are standard but their close location to lavatory and galley may be bothersome. The passengers of seats 5A, 5C, 5F and 5H may also have feel of discomfort because they are located close to the galley.
The seats of the 6th row are located in the Main Cabin Extra. These seats are good and often used by passengers with small children as they have more space for the legs. However neighborhood of galley and WC may cause discomfort as well as for passengers of the seats 7G and 7H.
The seat 9H is considered a bad seat as it doesn’t have a window.
The seats 21A and 21B may have limited recline and are located close to lavatory and the galley.
All seats of 22nd row (from 22C to 22H) have full recline option. However, the proximity of WC and galley may bother passengers of these two rows.
The seats 23A, 23B, 23G and 23H are good seats as they have a lot of extra space in front of them. However, the build in tray table reduces the width of these seats. Also these seats may be used by the crew members.
The seats 23C, 23D, 23E and 23F also have a lot if extra room in front of them and are often used by passengers with infants. However, the close position to lavatories makes all the places of 23rd row a little less attractive as here may gather a lot of passengers.
Passengers of the seats 32C and 32F may tend to bump into them.
The seats 33C, 33D and 33F may have less room for legs because of misalignment of the seats located in 32nd row.
The bad seats in Airbus A330-200 are the seats 35G and 35H and the seats of the last, 36th row. Reason: these seats are less reclining and are located close to lavatory and galleys.

American Airlines Fleet Airbus A321neo ACF Details and Pictures. On current fleet, American Airlines operates 6 narrow-body aircraft Airbus A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex).
The A321neo ACF is the latest addition to the successful A320 Family. By applying modifications to the fuselage, the ACF enables more flexible cabin configurations for up to 240 passengers.
Compared to the previous A321 variant, the most visible modifications are a new rear section and a modified passenger door configuration, where the door located forward of the wing is removed and new overwing emergency exits in the centre section are introduced.
The A321neo ACF is an option today and will become standard for all A321neos around 2020. The A321neo ACF is the base for a longer range variant known as the A321LR.
The A321LR has an increased MTOW (Maximum Take Off Weight) of 97 tonnes and a third underfloor fuel tank allowing airlines to increase its range to 4,000 nautical miles for intercontinental flights.
The A321 is the largest member of the A320 Family, seating up to 240 passengers, depending on cabin configuration.
Incorporating the latest engines, aerodynamic advances and cabin innovations, the A321neo offers a reduction in fuel consumption of at least 15 percent per seat from day one and 20 percent by 2020.
