Singapore Airlines Fleet Boeing 777-300ER Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

This aircraft is one of the newest additions to the Singapore fleet and has updated seats and entertainment.

On the newest versions of this aircraft, every seat has a 110V AC power port and a USB port.

If you’re flying First Class the seat map should show a single row in a 1-2-1 layout (row 1).

If you’re flying Business Class the seat map should show a 1-2-1 layout.

If you’re flying Premium Economy Class the seat map should show a 2-4-2 configuration from rows 31 to 34.

If you’re flying Economy Class, the seat map should show a 3-3-3 configuration all the way to the last row (row 62).

If the seat map does not resemble the above options in your respective travel class, it’s possible you’re flying on a 777-300 (non-ER).

First class has 8 flat bed seats.

All of them are standard.

The seats 1CD and 2CD are perfect for passengers traveling with a companion.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER Three Class (Business Class)

Business class consists of 42 flat bed seats.

First two rows of business class seats are located in the first section.

The seats of the 11th row are considered the best seats as they have extra legroom.

All these 8 seats of the first section have an exclusive feel of mini-cabins.

The seats 12A and 12K have misaligned windows.

The second section of business class seats has 9 rows of seats.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 14A, 14K and 15DF as these seats have bassinet locations.

These seats offer extra legroom to passengers of these seats. However, proximity of the lavatories and bulkhead position may cause discomfort.

Misaligned windows is the only disadvantage if the seats 18A, 18K and 20A, 20K.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER Three Class (Economy Class)

Behind the exit row 2 section of economy class seats are located.

There are totally 228 standard seats here.

The seats 31A and 31K have extra legroom.

Among disadvantages of these seats: reduced width of these seats , lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and it can get cold by the exits during the flight.

The seats 31BC and 31HJ are designated as preferred seats as they offer extra space for passengers’ legs.

However, passengers of these seats may get cold by the exits during the flight.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Also there is no floor storage for these seats during take-off and landing.

The seats 31DEG have the same disadvantages.

The position of bassinets may be bothersome for passengers of these seats.

But thanks to extra legroom passengers of these seats will feel comfortable.

The seats 41A and 41K have misaligned windows.

Due to missing seat behind the seat 42C is often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

The only disadvantage of the seats 42HJK and of the seats of the 43rd row is proximity of the galley and lavatory.

For passengers traveling with a companion will be ideal the seats 43AC.

13 row are located in the second section of economy class seats.

All the seats of the 44th row have the following disadvantages: noise that is coming from the galleys and lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of these seats, as the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width f these seats is reduced a little, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage.

The seats 44A and 44K are considered bad seats as they have no windows and the exit doors protrude out of the wall.

The seats 44BC and 44HJ are designated as preferred seats as they offer extra legroom to passengers.

Position of the bassinets may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 44DEG.

Extra space for passengers legs provides additional comfort to passengers of these seats.

Limited legroom is the main disadvantage of the seats 53BC and 53HJ.

The seats 55C and 55H are often bumped by crew members and passengers passing by due to missing seats behind.

The seats of the last 56th row are considered bad seats as they are less reclining than standard and are located close to the galley and lavatories.

The seats 56AC and 56HK will be ideal for passengers traveling with a partner.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300ER Four Class Layout
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300ER Four Class Layout

The SQ 777-300ER is fitted with a single row of the 2013 F first class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration for a total of four seats.

This is a very small and private cabin right at the front of the aircraft, with only four seats occupying a single row which makes it the most exclusive cabin in the Singapore Airlines fleet.

Best Seats

There are no bad seats in first class in our opinion, so separating the best from the worst is certainly nitpicking.

For solo travelers, the window seats (A or F) are an obvious choice if available.

The B777-300ER has a small intimate cabin of just four First Class seats in total, the most exclusive cabin offered by the airline, with the latest 2013 F seats installed (as pictured above) featuring extended curved privacy partitions.

Seat 1F is the furthest you can be from the single bassinet position in this cabin (which is at seat 1A, as depicted).

While the presence of an infant in the First Class cabin is rare, it is a possibility.

Couples will probably appreciate the slightly more sociable arrangement of the C/D pairs in the middle, with only one of these pairs available.

Should you only have a C/D seat to choose from as a solo traveler however, don’t fear, as there is a size-able privacy divider which isolates you from your neighbor.

Worst Seats

We can’t think of any bad seats in the First Class cabin on the SQ 777-300ER aircraft.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER Four Class (Business Class)

Business class on the SQ 777-300ER occupies the rear of the forward cabin section, just ahead of the second main aircraft door, and the entire second section between the second and third main doors. It is equipped  in a 1-2-1 configuration flat bed seat – the relatively new 2013 J product.

Best Seats

The Business Class cabin on the 777-300ER aircraft features a small three-row forward cabin, and a larger second cabin behind the second main aircraft doors.

While some people appreciate the feeling of space in the larger second cabin, personally we prefer the smaller forward cabin, which is quieter and has less foot traffic as service is conducted from the galley behind row 14.

The forward section also benefits from no bassinet positions, ensuring a peaceful experience for those lucky enough to secure a seat here.

Row 11 is probably the most private row on the aircraft, particularly the window seats 11A and 11K.

The alternative bulkhead seats are at row 15, which doesn’t feel as exclusive as the front of the smaller forward cabin and has the drawback of being the only bassinet position in the Business Class section on this aircraft.

Both row 11 and row 15 have more space especially for your feet as the ‘cubby hole’ style foot-well found in other seat rows is gone – replaced by a spacious full-width bench which also makes the bed bigger once the seat is converted. In these seats there is no need to extend your legs at an angle while sleeping.

Worst Seats

We would avoid Row 23 due to proximity of the premium economy cabin, with the bassinet position in that cabin section located right behind you.

Row 14 is a mixed bag, it’s in the nicer forward section but does suffer a little from galley and toilet disturbance.

It also features only one window, instead of two at the other rows.

We wouldn’t necessarily avoid it completely, but if there is a seat in row 11 or 12 available it would be better.

Row 19 & Row 21: These rows are missing a window at the A & K seats.

Other Tips

If travelling solo, one of the window seats (A or K) is preferable, giving you the highest level of privacy.

As a couple it’s up to you whether you prefer two A or K seats one in front of the other, or the slightly more sociable (but still sufficiently private) D/F middle pair.

We tend to go for the middle pair, as it’s easy to talk and provides the best food envy at meal times.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER Four Class (Premium Economy Class)

Premium Economy is located after the Business Class cabin, directly behind the third main set of aircraft doors. However,

There are four rows (three rows at the windows) with a 2-4-2 configuration, for a total of 28 seats.

Seat width is 19.5 inches and seat pitch is 38 inches, the same as on the A380, but wider than the A350 which has a narrower fuselage, so choose this aircraft or the A380 if you want the best premium economy seat.

However, one benefit of the A380 over the 777-300ER at the window seat is some extra space between the window seats and the cabin wall, due to the fuselage curvature.

Best Seats

The first row in the cabin, Row 31, has additional legroom, but be aware of a few drawbacks – firstly it’s the bassinet row (though there’s probably no escaping the sound of a screaming baby in this small cabin), secondly the IFE screens are mounted on the bulkhead wall in front of you, not housed in the armrest as with other seats in this cabin.

Thirdly the A and K seats are missing a window.

Worst Seats

Seats 31A & 31K are missing a window.

Row 33 (row 34 in the middle D/E/F/G seats) may suffer increased noise from the first row of the Economy Class cabin directly behind, which is also a bassinet position.

It may be better to choose a seat further forward.

Other Tips

Solo travellers will probably want to opt for one of the aisle seats (C, D, G or H), or possibly a window seat (A or K) depending on personal preference.

For couples, the window pairs (A/C or H/K) make perfect sense.

There are no dedicated toilets in the premium economy section, and you aren’t allowed forward into the Business Class cabin to use their toilets, so that means heading back through an economy section of seven rows to use the main bank of economy toilets at the fourth main set of aircraft doors.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER Four Class (Economy Class)

The 777-300ER features a small forward section of up to eight rows in a 3-3-3 configuration, with a single 2-3-2 row at the back, and a larger rear section with up to 14 rows in a 3-3-3 configuration, also with some 2-3-2 options at the back.

Three toilets are located at the galley area around the fourth main door, separating the two economy seating sections, with three more toilets at the rear galley area.

Best Seats

Extra legroom seats can be found at row 41 and row 49 on this aircraft, but beware the bassinet positions across two of the seats in each of these locations.

Also, the window seats in rows 49 (49A & 49K) are missing a window, so may not be the best choice.

There are five ‘couple pairs’ in this aircraft. At row 48 seats 48A/C and 48 H/K, and right at the back seats 61A/C, 61H/K and 62H/K.

These are well worth considering if you are travelling as a pair, though they do come with their drawbacks (see below).

The forward section of the smaller economy cabin would be our preference, as the service is from a galley behind this section and additionally toilets are all to the rear.

This should reduce foot traffic and noise, though bear in mind premium economy passengers will be passing through this section to use the toilets at the fourth main door.

Worst Seats

Row 47/48: The last row of the forward Economy Class cabin is right in front of the mid galley and three of the toilets, so it’s susceptible to increased foot traffic, queuing and noise. Avoid, unless you value the pair seating in row 48 as a couple (see above).

Seats 49 A/K: These seats are missing a window, but do have extra legroom.

They are also close to a main galley and toilet area on the aircraft. Avoid.

Seats 61 A/C/D/E/G & 62 H/K: The last row of the rear economy class cabin is right in front of a large toilet and galley area, so it’s susceptible to increased foot traffic and noise.

Avoid, unless you value the A/C or H/K pair seating as a couple, in which case 61 H/K are the ones to go for as there is still another row behind them.

This Boeing 777-300 aircraft is one of the newest additions to the Singapore fleet and has updated seats and entertainment.

The 777-300 aircraft are configured with 8 first class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 50 business class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, and 226 economy seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.

Business class seating on the 777-300 is in a 2-2-2 configuration, and nowhere near as private as the newer A350 and 777-300ERs that Singapore Airlines also operate.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300 (First Class)

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300 First Class
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300 First Class

The first class cabin on the SQ B777-300 comprises two rows of seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, providing direct aisle access to all passengers.

It’s fitted with the 2006 Fseat which is now a little dated, but very comfortable for the shorter sectors this aircraft is generally now used for.

Best Seats

For couples the C / D middle pairs would be the obvious choice, while for solo travellers the window seats (A and F) make perfect sense.

We would have a slight preference for row 1 over row 2, in that it is slightly further away from the main business class galley directly behind row 2.

Seat 2A also has a bassinet position, so the right side (F) seats will provide a little more distance from a potential screaming infant, though it’s unlikely in this cabin.

Worst Seats

As mentioned above, row 2 may suffer from a little more noise and foot traffic around the galley and toilets, but it’s likely to be marginal.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300 (Business Class)

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300 Business Class
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300 Business Class

Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300s are fitted with their regional business class product (again, remember we are not talking about the 777-300ER here, which all have flat-bed 1-2-1 seating).

Regional business is a 2-2-2 configuration with 172-degree recline (almost flat, but not quite!).

That gives rise to three main concerns – aisle access, privacy, and, perhaps most importantly, sleeping.

Luckily the 777-300 is now predominantly used on short flights so this shouldn’t be a significant issue.

For a short daytime flight it’s certainly quite acceptable, especially when travelling as a couple.

Overnight it’s one to avoid due to the angled bed (good enough for a daytime snooze in our opinion, but not conducive to a good night’s sleep).

Travelling solo, these seats aren’t great for privacy.

There is a reasonably-sized privacy divider between each seat pair, but it doesn’t afford you the seclusion of the newest business class seats in the fleet, or of the first class seats on this aircraft.

Best Seats

Toilets are available at the rear and front of this cabin.

Seats 11 D/F and 12 A/C or H/K benefit from some additional legroom, though beware the infant bassinets are also at this row so there is a possibility of disturbance.

We usually hedge our bets about halfway down the business cabin (row 16) for this reason, especially on an overnight sector.

Worst Seats

Rows 11/12: If there is a screaming infant in the bassinet, say goodbye to a peaceful flight if you’re seated here (otherwise, they are the best seats – see above).

Seats 17A & 17K: These “window” seats are missing an important element – a window! It bothers some people more than others – but avoid this row if you’re a fan of the view outside.

Row 20: Proximity to the toilets means more foot traffic and potentially more noise in this row.

Although there is a door area between row 20 and the first row in economy (row 31), be aware that row 31 has two bassinet positions and that some noise is therefore possible.

Other Tips

If travelling solo, one of the middle seats (D or F) is preferable. In the best case, no one will select the seat next to you, giving you ample extra space.

In the worst case, both you and the stranger next to you have unrestricted aisle access (i.e. you won’t be stuck in the window seat having to climb over their legs in the middle of the night, or vice-versa).

As a couple it’s up to you whether you prefer the middle D/F pair for the same unrestricted aisle access for each of you, or a window pair A/C or H/K.

We tend to go for the window pair, as it provides more privacy especially for the window passenger.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300 (Economy Class)

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300 Economy Class
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 300 Economy Class

The economy class cabin on the SQ 777-300 is configured over two similarly-sized sections, in a predominantly 3-3-3 layout.

There are a few good opportunities for couples to secure a rare seat “pair”, but unfortunately some of these seats have their drawbacks too.

Best Seats

Extra legroom seats can be found at row 31 on this aircraft, but beware of the two bassinet positions at 31D and 31G.

It’s easy to avoid proximity to the toilets and galleys by choosing a seat towards the front of the first economy cabin (we would suggest rows 31 to 38).

You do play a slight gamble with proximity to the bassinet row, so on an overnight flight, hedge your bets towards mid-cabin in the forward section in our opinion.

For couples, 43 A/C or H/K are a good bet, as are 56 A/C or H/K.

The rows directly behind them, which look the same on the seat map, come with drawbacks (see below).

Worst Seats

Seats 31A & 31K: For the window pairs at row 31, the window is missing.

Seats 44 A/C & 44 H/K: The window seats at these “pairs” are missing a window.

Row 57: The last row on the aircraft suffers from missing windows in the A & K seats, and is close to the toilet and rear galley area meaning lots of foot traffic, queuing and noise around these seats. Avoid.

Singapore Airlines has invested nearly SGD$95 million to refit ten Boeing 777-200ER aircraft with new long-haul cabin products to provide customers with additional space and comfort.

Business class seats will now convert into full-flat beds.

In Business and economy, personal television displays have been made larger to 15.4 inches and 9 inches respectively.

This aircraft will first operate between Singapore and Amsterdam and then will serve more destinations in Europe, India, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

There’s only one version of the 777-200ER in operation with Singapore Airlines.

If you’re flying Business Class the seat map should show a 1-2-1 layout.

If you’re flying Economy Class, the seat map should show a 3-3-3 configuration all the way to the last row (row 59).

If the seat map does not resemble either of the above options, it’s possible you’re flying on a 777-200 (non-ER).

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200ER Retrofitted Layout Business Class
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200ER Retrofitted Layout Business Class

Business Class on the SQ Boeing 777-200ER is the best business product available on any of the Singapore Airlines 777-200 aircraft, the 2006 J seat which converts to a fully flat bed in 1-2-1 configuration.

The business cabin occupies the front area between the first and second main aircraft doors, with six rows in total (seven for the middle pairs), for a total of 28 seats.

Two toilets are located at the back of this cabin, not a bad passenger-to-toilet ratio, even when two pilots have to use them too.

Best Seats

Row 11, the first row in this cabin, is at the bulkhead and so has more space, especially for your feet as the “cubby hole” style footwell found in other seat rows is gone – replaced by a spacious full-width bench which also makes the bed bigger once the seat is converted.

In these seats there is no need to extend your legs at an angle while sleeping.

However, be aware that the window seats at this row (11A and 11K) are infant bassinet positions.

Worst Seats

Rows 17 & 18: The very last rows of business class, these are directly in front of the two toilets for this cabin, so will have more foot traffic, and may also suffer increased noise from the first row of the economy class cabin directly behind, which is also a bassinet position. Avoid.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200ER Retrofitted Layout Economy Class

Economy class is split across a larger forward section, and a smaller rear cabin.

Six toilets are all located between the two sections, at the third main set of aircraft doors.

Both economy cabins are served from a large galley at the back of the plane.

Best Seats

In the forward cabin, which suffers from the least foot traffic, extra legroom seats can be found at row 31, but beware the bassinet positions across four of the seats in this row.

There are also two ‘couple pairs’ in the forward cabin, a rarity on this aircraft in economy, seats 47 A/C and 47 H/K. Both pairs are generally well-reviewed, with the 47 A/C pair a better bet as there is a cupboard rather than a toilet directly behind.

These are probably the best couple pairs available in economy on this aircraft.

In the rear cabin seats 48 A/C have extra legroom, but are close to the main toilet area and are reported to have a large volume of passenger congregation around them.

Seats 49 A/C are also a couple pair and a bit better in the traffic respect, but don’t feature the extra legroom.

Seat 50C has no seat in front of it, and so has ample extra legroom, though is still close to the toilets.

It is also close to three infant bassinet positions in the same row.

Worst Seats

Row 35 A/K seats: For the window seats at row 35, the window is missing.

If you’re a fan of the view outside, or just plain claustrophobic, avoid.

Seat 48A: Despite being a ‘couple pair’, the window is missing.

It is also close to a main bank of toilets with reports of queuing around this area.

Row 59: This is the last row on the plane, and is located right in front of the main rear economy galley, meaning lots of foot traffic and potentially noise around these seats. Avoid.

Singapore Airlines Fleet Boeing 777-200 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 fleet currently operates in two configurations – Version 2 and Version 3 (Refitted SQ-series) and (Refitted SR-series).

Both configurations are identical in total seats (including by cabin class), but as they have a slightly different seating, galley and toilet layout, so we assess them separately.

If you’re flying Business Class and the seat map shows row 18, it’s Version 2.

If there is no row 18, it’s Version 3.

If you’re flying Economy Class, Version 2 and Version 3 have identical layouts with seats up to row 57 in both cases.

If the seat map does not resemble any of the above options, it’s possible you’re flying on a 777-200ER.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200 Version 2 Business Class
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200 Version 2 Business Class

This version of the SQ Boeing 777-200 is fitted with their regional business class product – a 2-2-2 configuration with 172-degree recline (almost flat, but not quite!).

That gives rise to three main concerns – aisle access, privacy, and, perhaps most importantly, sleeping.

For a daytime flight it’s actually quite acceptable, especially when travelling as a couple.

Overnight it’s one to avoid due to the angled bed (good enough for a daytime snooze in our opinion, but not conducive to a good night’s sleep).

Travelling solo, these seats aren’t great for privacy.

There is a reasonably-sized privacy divider between each seat pair, but it doesn’t afford you the seclusion of the newest business class seats in the fleet.

Best Seats

The business class section on the Version 2 aircraft is split across two cabin sections, the forward section of three rows (four centre pairs), and a second cabin after the second set of main aircraft cabin doors, which has a further three rows.

There are three toilets in business class, one at the front and two at the second set of main aircraft doors, between the two cabins.

You can avoid some of the foot traffic by choosing a seat in the rear cabin.

Seats 11 D/F as well as 12 A/C and 12 H/K benefit from some additional legroom, as does all of row 17, though beware the infant bassinets are also at these rows so there is a possibility of disturbance, and the IFE screens are mounted on the bulkhead wall in front of you as there is no seat in front.

We usually hedge our bets around halfway down either of the business cabins (row 14 or row 18) for this reason, especially on an overnight sector.

Worst Seats

Row 16: Proximity to the galley and toilets means more foot traffic and potentially more noise in this row.

Although there is a full galley between row 16 and the first row in the second business class section (row 17), be aware that row 17 has two additional bassinet positions, and that some noise is therefore possible. Avoid.

Row 19: Proximity to first row of the economy class section (row 31) may mean some noise as row 31 has three bassinet positions. Avoid.

As a couple it’s up to you whether you prefer the middle D/F pair for the same unrestricted aisle access for each passenger, or a window pair A/C or H/K.

We tend to go for the window pair, as it provides more privacy especially for the window passenger.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 Version 2 (Economy Class)

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200 Version 2 Economy Class
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200 Version 2 Economy Class

The economy cabin on the Version 2 aircraft is spread across two similarly-sized main sections in a 3-3-3 layout.

Best Seats

The first row in the cabin (row 31) is at the bulkhead and so offers extra legroom, but this is also the main bassinet position in the economy class section so some noise is possible if there are infants on board.

Seats 44 A/B and 44 J/K are also exit row seats with extra legroom, and have the benefit of being ‘couple pairs’ which are rare on this aircraft in economy.

However, the window seats (A&K) at this row are missing a window, and a bassinet position is nearby in the centre seats of the immediate row behind.

Those centre seats 45 D/E/G also have extra legroom, but as mentioned two bassinet stations are a potential drawback.

Seats 45C and 45H have no seat in front of them and therefore significant extra legroom.

Seats  56A/C and 56H/K may well be the best ‘couple pairs’ on this aircraft, despite being very near the back, as the ‘couple’ seat pairs behind those (57 A/C and 57 H/K) are right next to the rear galley / toilet and so slightly less desirable.

Worst Seats

Row 36 A/K seats: For the window seats at row 36, the window is missing.

If you’re a fan of the view outside, or just plain claustrophobic, avoid.

Rows 42, 43 & 57: These rows are located right in front of either the main bank of six toilets (rows 42 & 43), or the rear economy galley (row 57), meaning lots of foot traffic, queuing and noise around these seats. Avoid.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200 Version 3 Business Class
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 200 Version 3 Business Class

Version 3 of the SQ Boeing 777-200, like Version 2, is fitted with their regional business class seats – so our comments above on that product also apply to these aircraft.

The same business class seat total is achieved on the 777-200 Version 3 business class, 38 seats.

The forward section contains one extra row, however, and the second section just has two rows instead of three.

Best Seats

There are three toilets in business class, one at the front and two at the second set of main aircraft doors, between the two cabins.

You can avoid some of the foot traffic by choosing a seat in the rear cabin.

Seats 11 D/F as well as 12 A/C and 12 H/K benefit from some additional legroom, as does all of row 17, though beware the infant bassinets are also at these rows so there is a possibility of disturbance, and the IFE screens are mounted on the bulkhead wall in front of you as there is no seat in front.

We usually hedge our bets around halfway down the first business cabin (row 14 or 15) for this reason, especially on an overnight sector.

Avoid.

As a couple it’s up to you whether you prefer the middle D/F pair for the same unrestricted aisle access for each passenger, or a window pair A/C or H/K.

We tend to go for the window pair, as it provides more privacy especially for the window passenger.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 Version 3 (Economy Class)

The economy cabin on the SQ Boeing 777-200 Version 3 aircraft is identical to the Version 2 aircraft, and so our comments and seat recommendations for that Version equally apply to this one.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 800 Lower Deck Four Class V1
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 800 Lower Deck Four Class V1

The lower deck consists of three classes of seats: first, premium economy and economy.

First class has 4 rows of seats that contain 12 closed suites with 180 degree recline.

The seats 2C and 2D have bassinet locations.

Close location of the lavatories and galleys will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 3CD and for passengers of the seats 4A and 4F.

36 recliner seats are located in Premium Economy class.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats of the 31st row.

These seats have a little less legroom because of the bulkhead position.

Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and proximity of the lavatories and galleys the noise from which may cause discomfort.

Behind Premium Economy class seats three sections of economy class seats are located.

First section contains 6 rows of seats that have 3-4-3 configuration.

Due to position of the bulkhead the legroom of the seats of the 41st row is slightly restricted.

These seats have bassinet locations.

As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Proximity of the lavatories is the main disadvantage of the seats of the 46th row.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located.

Passengers of the seats of the 47th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs.

However, these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Other passengers tend to congregate in this area while waiting to use lavatories causing inconvenience to passengers of these seats.

In addition the seats 47A and 47K have no windows.

Close location of the lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 48DEFG.

Position of the bulkhead restricts the legroom of these seats.

Passengers with babies are often seated here as these seats have bassinet locations.

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

Due to missing seat behind the seat 49D is often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

The seat 51D is considered good seat as it offers extra legroom as there is no seat in front.

Noise that is coming from the galleys may disturb passengers of the seats 55DEFG and of the seats of the last 56th row.

The last 10 rows of economy class seats are located in the third section.

The seats 57DEFG have limited legroom because of the bulkhead location, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the galleys.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated here as these seats have bassinet locations.

Thanks to the exit row located in front passengers of the seats 57ABC and 57HJK will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

Among disadvantages: these seats are narrower than standard, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, close location of the galleys may be bothersome as well.

The seats 57A and 57K have no windows.

The seats 65ABC and 65HJK and the seats of the last 66th row are less reclining.

Close location of the lavatories is another disadvantage of these seats.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 800 Upper Deck Four Class V1
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 800 Upper Deck Four Class V1

The upper deck includes 60 flat bed seats of business class and 88 seats of economy class.

As the seats 11A and 11K are missing windows and are located close to lavatory these seats are considered bad seats.

The seats 11D and 11Fhave bassinet locations.

Proximity of the lavatory may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats as well as for passengers of the seats 15F and 15K and 16D and 16F.

The second section of business class seats consists of 11 rows of seats.

Most of them have 1-2-1 configuration.

The main disadvantage of the seats 17A, 17K and 18DF is close location of the galleys.

Proximity of the lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 27th row.

Behind the exit row 2 sections of economy class seats are located.

Most of the seats have 2-4-2 configuration.

Passengers of the seats 71AC and 71HK will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

However, close location of the lavatories, lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of these seats may cause discomfort.

Also, the seats 71A and 71K have no windows.

The seats 72DEFG have limited legroom due to position of the bulkhead.

Among other disadvantages: proximity of the lavatories and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers with infants are often seated here.

The seats of the last row of the section, i.e. the seats of the 79th row are less reclining than standard because of the exit row located behind.

Passengers of the seats 80DEFG and 81A, 81H will take advantage of extra space for their legs thanks to the exit row located in front.

However these seats are a little narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 81A and 81K have the same disadvantages and also have no windows.

As there are no seats behind other passengers tend to bump into the seats 81D and 81G.

Close location of the lavatories may represent problem for passengers of the seats 81D, 81G and for passengers of the seats of the 82nd and 83rd rows.

Limited recline makes the seats 82AC, 82HK and 83DG bad seats.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 800 Lower Deck Four Class V2
Seat Map and Seating Chart Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 800 Lower Deck Four Class V2

The lower deck includes 293 seats located in three classes: first, premium economy and economy.

First class consists of 4 rows of seats having totally 12 closed suites with 180 degree recline.

Passengers traveling with infants are often seated on the seats 2C and 2D as these seats have bassinet locations.

Close location of the lavatories and galleys is s disadvantage for passengers of the seats 3CD, 4A and 4F.

Premium economy class has 36 recliner seats.

The seats of the 31st row have limited legroom because of the bulkhead position.

Also these seats have bassinet locations.

Among other disadvantaged of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable.

Economy class seats are divided into three sections.

First sections consists of 6 rows of seats that have 3-4-3 configuration.

Passengers with babies are often seated on the seats of the 41st row as they have bassinet locations.

These seats have the following disadvantages: limited legroom, reduced width and also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 46th row is proximity of the lavatories.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located.

Passengers of the seats of the 47th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs provided by exit row located in front.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is a little narrower.

Other passengers tend to gather in this area while waiting to use lavatories causing some discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Missing windows make the seats 47A and 47K bad seats.

The seats 48DEFG have limited legroom, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the lavatories that may cause inconvenience.

Other passengers and crew members passing by tend to bump into the seat 49D due to missing seat behind.

The best seat here is considered the seat 51D because these seat have extra space for passengers’ legs as there is no seat in front.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 56th row is close location of the galleys the noise from which may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

The third section of economy class seats includes 10 rows of seats.

The seats 57DEFG have such disadvantages as: limited legroom because of the bulkhead position, proximity of the galleys and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers of the seats 57ABC and 57HJK will take advantage of extra legroom.

However, these seats are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing, close location of the galleys may be bothersome as well.

In addition, the seats 57A and 57K have no windows.

Limited recline and proximity of the lavatories make the seats 65ABC, 65HJK and 66DEFG bad seats.

The Upper Deck includes just the seats of business class.

There are totally 86 flat bed seats here. These seats have 180 degree recline.

The seats are divided into 4 sections divided by exit rows.

First section consists of 5 rows of seats that have 1-2-1 configuration.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 11th row is close location to lavatory.

The seats 11A and 11K have no windows.

Noise that is coming from the galleys may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 16th row.

11 rows of seats are located in the second section.

Passengers travelling with infants are often seated on the seats 17A and 17K as these seats have bassinet locations.

Proximity of the galleys may be bothersome.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats 17D and 17F while waiting to visit lavatories causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Proximity of the lavatories is also a disadvantage for passengers of the seats 26DF and 27A, 27K.

The third section of business class seats contain 5 rows of seats per 4 in each.

Close location of the lavatories may disturb passengers of the seats of the 91st row as well.

The fourth section of business class seats contains just one row with 4 seats.

The seats of the last 96th row are considered bad seats as they are located in close proximity to the galleys, lavatories and stairs.

The lower deck contains the seats of first class and economy class.

First class has 4 rows of 12 closed suites.

Proximity of the stairs will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 1A and 1F. The seats 2C and 2D have bassinet locations.

The main disadvantage of the seats 4A and 4F is close location of the galleys and lavatories.

Economy class seats are located in three sections.

Thanks to the bulkhead position passengers of the seats 34ABC, 31 HJK and 32DEFG will take advantage of extra legroom.

Passengers with babies are seated on these seats as they have bassinet locations.

The noise that is coming from galleys and lavatories may be bothersome for passengers of these seats.

In addition the seats 34ABC and 31 HJK are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Close location of the seats of the 43rd row to lavatories may cause inconvenience to passengers of these seats.

Second section of economy class seats has 10 rows.

Due to the exit row located in front the seats of the 44th row have more space for passengers’ legs.

These seats are designated by Singapore Airlines as preferred seats.

Other passengers tend to congregate in this area while waiting to use lavatories causing inconvenience to passengers of the seats of the 44th row and 45DEFG.

Another disadvantage of the seats 45DEFG is limited legroom.

These seats have bassinet locations.

The seat 48D is considered good seat as it offers extra legroom to its’ passengers due to missing seat in front.

Proximity of the galley may be bothersome for passengers of the seats of the 53rd row.

The last section of economy class also consists of 10 rows of seats.

The seats of the 54th row are intended for passengers traveling with infants as they have bassinet locations.

Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

However, proximity of the galleys may cause some discomfort to passengers of these seats as well as for passengers of the seats 55ABC and 55HJK.

As the exit doors protrude inside the cabin the legroom of the seats 55A and 55K is slightly limited.

The seats 55BC and 55HJ are designated preferred seats.

They offer extra space for passengers’ legs.

Close location of the lavatories and limited recline are the disadvantages of the seats of the last 63rd row.

The upper deck includes the seats of two classes: business and economy.

The major part of the upper deck take two sections of business class seats.

There are totally 60 flat bed seats here.

First section consists of 5 rows of seats.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 11th row is close location of the lavatories and stairs the noise from which will be bothersome.

The seats 11A and 11K are missing windows.

All D and F seats of the business class do not have overhead storage.

The seats 11D and 11F gave bassinet locations.

Proximity of the galleys and lavatories may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 16D and 16F.

The second section of business class seats contains 42 seats.

All these seats are standard only the seats 17A and 17K have some peculiarities.

So, these seats offer extra space for passengers’ legs thanks to the bulkhead position.

Passengers traveling with infants ate often seated on these seats as they have bassinet locations.

However, close location of the galleys may represent a problem.

Behind the exit row two sections of economy class seats are located.

Passengers of the seats 71AC and 71HK will take advantage of extra legroom.

These seats are designated as preferred seats.

Other passengers tend to congregate in this area while waiting to use lavatories and causing discomfort to passengers of these seats and of the seats 72DEFG.

Due to the bulkhead position these seats have extra legroom as well.

Also these seats have bassinet locations for passengers with babies.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 79th row are less reclining than standard.

Second section of economy class seats includes 4 rows of seats.

The seats 80DEFG and 81AC, 81HK are designated by Singapore Airlines as preferred seats as they offer extra legroom.

The overhead bins of these seats are smaller than standard.

Other passengers often walk in front of the seats 80DEFG causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

The seats 81AC and 81HK have misaligned windows.

Also these seats are narrower than standard as the TVs are in the armrests making them immovable.

As there are no seats behind the seats 81A and 81G are often bumped by crew members and other passengers passing by.

Overhead bins of the seats 81DEFG are smaller than standard.

Proximity of the galleys, lavatories and stairs will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 82nd and 83rd rows.

In addition the seats 82AC, 82HK and 83DG may be less reclining or not reclining at all.

These seats are considered bad seats.

Singapore Airlines Fleet Airbus A350-900 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Singapore Airlines configured their Airbus A350-900 on three different cabin layout configuration.

The configuration is based on its flying range itself, medium haul, long haul, and the ultra long range (ULR).

There’s 253 seats (Long Haul), 161 seats (Ultra Long Range), and 303 seats (Medium Haul).

The long-haul Singapore Airlines A350-900 is configured with 42 flat-bed business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with 26 located between doors 1 and 2 and a smaller cabin of 16 seats behind door 2.

Following that are 24 premium economy in 2-4-2 and 253 economy in 3-3-3.

Singapore Airlines also has a regional configured A350-900 which has 40 flat-bed business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration as installed in the carrier’s Boeing 787-10 aircraft and 263 economy seats.

Anyone who has flown Singapore’s long-range 777 will find the seat and cabin very familiar.

The bulkhead seats provide so much extra space thanks to a wide ottoman to rest your feet on.

There are no overhead bins down the center of their business class cabins, yet the cabin doesn’t feel spacious as the seats seem quite bulky.

The cabin feels incredibly spacious, thanks to the lack of overhead bins in the middle of the plane.

The more intimate forward business-class cabin only has five rows of seats.

The main business-class cabin is double the size, with 10 rows of seats.

At 28 inches wide, these are some of the widest business-class seats in the industry.

The premium economy cabin on Singapore’s A350-900ULR is mostly 2-4-2, although it becomes 1-4-1 for its last three rows.

The bulkhead seats provide ample leg room.

Each premium economy seat had 38-inch pitch, which became 33 inches when the passenger ahead of you reclined.

Only the seats of the first and the last rows of the section, i.e. the seats of the 11th row and of the seats 17A, 17K and 18DF have such a disadvantage as close location of the galleys and lavatories.

Behind the exit row 4 more rows of business class are located.

These seats have 1-2-1 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 19th row will take advantage of extra legroom.

However, the noise from the galleys located in front may be bothersome.

Premium economy class may accommodate 24 passengers.

The seats of premium economy class are located in 3 rows and have 2-4-2 configuration.

The seats of the 31st row are considered the best seats because they provide additional legroom for passengers.

But these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats 31DEFG because these seats have bassinets.

The seats 33D and 33G are often bumped by service carts and other passengers passing by.

Economy class may transport 187 passengers.

It is separated into two sections.

First section consists of 6 rows of seats.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers tend to gather in order to visit lavatories in the area of the seats 45DEG, 46ABC and 46HJK causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Behind the exit row second section of economy class seats is located.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 47th row offer extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: location of the lavatories in front, reduced width of the seats and no floor storage during take-off and landing.

As there are no seats in front the seats 48A and 48K these seats offer additional legroom to passengers.

These seats are considered good seats.

However, these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Limited recline and the noise from the galleys and lavatory located behind make the seats 61ABC, 61HJK and 62DEG bad seats.
