Turkish Airlines Fleet Airbus A321-200 Details and Pictures. On current fleet, Turkish Airlines operated 68 narrow-body aircraft Airbus A321-200.

Airplane Airbus A321 represents elongated by 7 meters modification of A320 airplane.

Airbus A321 provides the lowest cost of flight for 1 kilometer distance per one passenger among narrow-bodied airplanes.

In other words thanks to low fuel consumption rate and big passenger capacity the flight on 1 kilometer of Airbus A321 is cheaper for one passenger than on other narrow-bodied airplanes.

Airbus A321 is equipped with new winglets that on Airbus are named Sharklets.

This winglets improve aerodynamic characteristics of the wing, reducing fuel consumption and increasing flying range.

Turkish Airlines Fleet Airbus A321-200 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Turkish Airlines operates two versions of Airbus A321-200.

Both versions offer seats of two classes.

Turkish equips its Airbus A321s with a convertible Euro-style cabin, where all the seats are economy, but the first rows can be converted to business class seating by blocking the middle seat and moving a dividing curtain between the sections.

Turkish Airlines A321 is configured with the new business class cabin with 5 rows of seats in a 2 x 2 layout.

It’s actually a pretty spacious and beautiful cabin with 20 brand new recliner seats in plush, black leather.

Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 231 TC JRE Beypazari at Zurich International Airport ZRH

Similar to “domestic first class seats,” these Turkish Airlines A321 business class seats offer 20 inches of width and 34 inches of pitch.

The seats recline approximately 6 inches and have adjustable head rests and leg rests.

The head rest was comfortable but I must admit the leg rest was rather useless as it only “raised” up approximately 3 inches.

When fully extended, the leg rest just shifted my legs forward and did nothing to comfort or support them.

Manual seat controls are located on the armrests.

Each seat is equipped with an in-flight entertainment (IFE) system, USB port, universal electrical outlet, two personal reading lamps, overhead air vent and a coat hook.

The touchscreen IFE monitors are bright and clear and the entertainment system offers a decent selection of movies, TV shows, video games and audio entertainment.

The IFE monitors are located in the center console and the companion remotes are located in the armrests.

Audio entertainment and flight details can be controlled from the remote without having to remove your IFE monitor from the center console.

This version of Airbus A321-200 is the most common in Turkish Airlines.

This airplane may accommodate 188 passengers in two classes: business and economy.

Business class offers 12 seats per 4 in each row.

The seats of the 1st row have the following disadvantages: limited space for passengers’ legs, reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class consists of 176 standard seats.

Most of the seats of the economy class have 3-3 configuration.

Because of the position of the bulkhead the legroom of the seats of the 4th row is limited.

TC JRC Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 231 Gerede at Amsterdam schiphol airport EHAM
TC JRC Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 231 Gerede at Amsterdam schiphol airport EHAM

In addition, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

For passengers with infants these seats offer bassinet locations.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 8th row is limited recline due to the exit row behind.

Behind the exit row 14 rows of seats are located.

Passengers of the seats of the 9th row will feel comfortable thanks to the extra legroom.

As the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

As there are no seats in front the seats 10A and 10F offer extra space for passengers legs.

But these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

For passengers who a travelling with a partner will be ideal the seats 23BC and 23DE.

However, these seats are less reclining than standard die to the exit row located behind.

The last section of economy class seats consists of 11 rows of seats.

The seats of the 24th row are considered good seats as they have extra space for passengers’ legs.

Among disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width.

Location of the galley and lavatory behind and limited recline make the seats of the last 34th row bad seats.

This version of Airbus A321-200 may accommodate 20 passengers in business class and 158 passengers in the economy class.

The seats of the business class are located in 5 rows and have 2-2 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of the 1st row will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

At the same time the noise from the galley and lavatory in front as well as reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing may be bothersome.

The seats of business and economy class are divided from each other with a bulkhead position of which restricts legroom of the seats of the 6th row.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

TC JMM Airbus A321 231 Turkish Airlines Karabük at Geneva International Airport
TC JMM Airbus A321 231 Turkish Airlines Karabük at Geneva International Airport

As the seats of the 7th row are located between two exit rows, passengers of these seats on the one hand will take advantage of extra legroom but on the other these seats are less reclining than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats of the 8th row are considered good seats as they offer additional space for passengers’ legs.

However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 19th row are less reclining.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Location of the seats of the 20th row between two exit rows provides these seats with extra legroom but also with limited recline.

TC JMN Airbus A321 231 Esenler Turkish Airlines at Geneva International Airport
TC JMN Airbus A321 231 Esenler Turkish Airlines at Geneva International Airport

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

Passengers of the seats of the 21st row will take advantage of extra legroom.

These seats are considered good seats. Insignificant disadvantage of these seats is lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Other passengers tend to gather in the area of the seats 31C, 31D and 32ABC, 32DEF causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Also the seats of the last 32nd row may have limited recline that is why these seats are considered bad seats.

Turkish Airlines adjusts the number of business class seats on Airbus A320-200 based on demand.

Therefore business class can have as little as no rows and as many as five.

Seats on this aircraft were identical to the 737-900.

Turkish offers 2×2 business class seats on their A320.

The seats were very comfortable with more recline and a larger pitch than their domestic USA first class counterparts.

Turkish Airlines adjust the number of business class seats according to passengers’ demand.

So, the airplane may have up to 5 rows of business class or no business class seats at all.

The most often variant of Airbus A320-200 is with 12 business class seats and 141 economy class seats.

Business class seats are located in the first three rows per 4 seats in each.

The middle seats are blocked. Due to position of the bulkhead, the seats of the 1st row have limited legroom.

Also, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are narrower than standard as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable.

Almost all seats of the economy class (except the last row) have 3-3 configuration.

The seats of the 4th class are first seats of the economy class that are separated from business class with a curtain.

For passengers with babies these seats offer bassinet locations.

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 9th row are less reclining than standard.

The best seats of the economy class are considered the seats of the 10th and 11th row.

Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom provided by exit row located in front.

However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The noise from the lavatories located behind the seats 26ABCD and 27DEF may be bothersome for passengers of these seats.

Limited recline makes the seats 26ABC and 27DEF bad seats.

Turkish Airlines Fleet Airbus A319-100 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Airbus A319 operated by Turkish airlines offers 126 seats in two classes.

The Business Class cabin is separated by a curtain on these aircraft, and so you’d think there wouldn’t be any difference in seat comfort compared to Economy.

However, there really is, as the legroom is vastly superior in Business Class.

At 37in it’s one of the biggest pitches on any intra-European flight, and so while the seat itself is a standard Economy seat, the legroom, as well as the added convenience of having a free seat in-between each occupied seat in Business Class, make the cabin feel markedly nicer than Economy.

This makes a huge difference compared to the intra-Europe business class products on British Airways and Lufthansa, where you have about 30″ of pitch.

Business class consists of three rows of seats per 4 seats in each.

The middle seats are not sold.

Because of the bulkhead position the seats of the 1st row have limited space for passengers’ legs.

Among other disadvantages: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable.

Economy class may transport 114 passengers.

Seats of the economy class have 3-3 configuration.

These seats are divided into two sections.

First section contains 5 rows of seats.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 8th row are less reclining than standard.

Behind the exit row the second section of economy class seats is located.

There are 14 rows here.

Passengers of the seats of the 9th row will take advantage of extra legroom.

However, these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Noise from the lavatories located behind the seats 22C, 22D and the seats of the 23rd row will cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

In addition limited recline makes the seats of the last 23rd row bad seats.

Iberia Fleet Airbus A340-600 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Iberia operates 2 cabin version of Airbus A340-600.

First version aircraft operates on long-haul routes with 46 seats in Business Plus, and 300 seats in Economy Class, which Iberia refers to as Tourist Class.

All the flat bed seats in Business Class have direct access to the aisle.

Second version of Iberia Airbus A340-600 aircraft operates on long-haul routes with 36 Business Plus Class seats, 23 Premium Economy Class seats and 296 seats in Economy Class, which Iberia refers to as Tourist Class.

Business Plus features seats which transform to fully-flat beds and each has direct access to the aisle.

Business class aboard Iberia’s A340-600 consisted of a single large cabin with a total of 46 seats.

There were 12 rows with four seats each in a staggered 1–2–1 configuration — the first row didn’t have a middle section at all.

These seats were a model called Solstys, manufactured by Stelia Aerospace (the company created by the merger of Aerolia and Sogerma).

You might have seen the same seats on Alitalia and aboard the Emirates A380.

The seats along the outside walls of the cabin were staggered so that some had a wide armrest on the aisle with the chair portion closer to the wall, while the others had their larger armrest on the wall with just a narrow one separating them from the aisle.

That wide armrest contained the footwell of the seat behind when it was in lie-flat mode.

In the center section, meanwhile, rows also alternated. In some, the seats were separated by their wide armrests with their chairs right on the aisle.

The seats in the other rows were positioned close together with the larger armrests separating them from the aisle and just a narrow armrest between them — they’re typically referred to as “sweetheart seats” because of the close quarters, and are better for couples.

First version of Airbus A340-600 is the most common in Iberia fleet among two versions.

This airplane is used during long-haul flights.

This version offers 46 flat bed seats of business class and 300 seats of economy class.

Business Plus class consists of 12 rows of seats.

These seats have 180 degrees recline.

The noise from the galleys and lavatory may represent a problem for passengers of the seats 1A and 1L and for passengers of the last 12th row.

Passengers traveling with babies are often seated on the seats 2E and 2G as these seats offer bassinet locations.

Economy class seats are located in three sections separated from each other with exit rows.

Most of the economy class seats have 2-4-2 configuration.

First section consists of 11 rows of seats.

Due to the exit row in front the seats 14AC and 14JL have extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: close location of the galleys and lavatories, reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Because of the position of the bulkhead the seats 15DEGH have limited legroom.

These seats may have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

For passengers with babies these seats offer bassinet locations.

The second section of economy class seats include 15 rows.

Passengers of the seats 25AC and 25JL will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

Missing windows , lack of floor storage during take-off and landing make the seats 25A and 25L bad seats.

Congregation of passengers near lavatories and limited recline are the main disadvantages of the seats 38AC, 38 JL and 39DEGH.

The third section of economy class seats has 14 rows.

Passengers of the seats 40AC and 40JL will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Other passengers tend to gather in the area of these seats while waiting to use lavatories thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Also these seats may have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 41DEGH have the following disadvantages: limited legroom, location of the galley in front and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Due to missing seats behind the seats 50D and 50H are often bumped by other passengers and service carts passing by.

As there is no seat in front the seat 52D offers extra legroom.

But proximity of the galleys and lavatories will cause discomfort for passengers of this seat and of the seat 52H.

The seats 52AC, 52JL and 53DEH are considered bad seats due to limited recline and close location of the lavatories and galleys.

Second version of Airbus A340-600 operated by Iberia may transport 342 passengers in tow classes: business and economy.

Business class consists of 42 angle-flat seats that have 170 degrees recline.

These seats are located in 7 rows per 6 in each.

Each row has 2-2-2 configuration of seats.

Location of the galleys and lavatory in front will cause discomfort to passengers’ of the seats 1C, 1DH and 1J.

The only disadvantage of the seats 6A and 6L are misaligned windows.

The noise from the galleys and lavatories located behind the seats 7C, 7DH and 7J will cause inconvenience to passengers’ of these seats.

Behind business class seats 300 standard seats of economy class are located.

The seats of the economy class have 2-4-2 configuration.

Economy class is divided into three sections.

First section consists of 11 rows.

Passengers of the seats 10AC, 10JL and 11DEGH will take advantage of extra legroom.

However, these seats have also some disadvantages: the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable and thus reducing the width of these seats a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing. Close location of the galleys may cause discomfort as well.

Due to the exit row located behind the seats of the 21st row are less reclining than standard.

Second section of economy class seats includes 15 rows.

The seats of the 22nd row are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Also, the seat 22A and 22L have limited space for passengers’ legs due to protrusion of the exit doors inside.

The best seats of the economy class are the seats 22C, 22DEGH and 22J.

Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom.

The seats 23A and 23 L are considered bad seats because of missing windows.

Proximity of the lavatories and limited recline are the main disadvantages of the seats 35AC, 35JK and 36DEGH.

The third section has 14 rows of seats.

The main disadvantages of the seats 37AC, 37JL and 38DEGH are: congregation of passengers in the area of these seats in order to visit lavatories, reduced width as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Also, the seats 37A and 37L have reduced legroom because the exit doors protrude inside.

Passengers of the seats 37C, 37J and 38DEGH on the contrary will take advantage of additional space for their legs.

Because of configuration change of the seats from 4 to 3, the seats 47D and 47H are often bumped by service carts but the seats 48D and 48H have limited legroom.

Also the seats 48D and 48H are a little narrower than standard.

The noise from the galleys and lavatories located behind and limited recline make the seats 49AC, 49JL and 50DEH bad seats.

Iberia Fleet Airbus A330-300 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Iberia’s A330-300 aircraft is one of the first in its’ fleet to be outfitted with its upgraded Business Class product featuring flat-bed seating.

This aircraft operates on long-haul routes with 42 seats in Business Plus, and 278 seats in Economy Class, which Iberia refers to as Tourist Class.

All the flat-bed seats in Business Class have direct access to the aisle.

This particular A330-300 has more seats in the overall business class cabin than the A330-200.

It is also a less technologically advanced, older product than the A350-900.

Within the cabin, there are 29 business class seats, which is 10 more than the A330-200, representing a 53% increase in seats.

The seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration across 7 rows with an extra seat in the rear right side of the cabin.

Lavatories and galleys are at both ends of the cabin, so you’ll want to generally avoid the first and last row for your own convenience.

Iberia’s A330-300 also has a premium economy cabin, unlike the older A330-200 variant.

In this cabin, you’ll immediately notice a smaller configuration of 2-3-2.

Also, there are 21 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration, which is 3 fewer seats than the A350-900.

There is a galley on the front-right section of the premium economy cabin.

The best seats will be in row 11, which is where the bulkhead is situated.

You’ll want to avoid seat 11A because the protrusion from the exit row door will undoubtedly hinder your legroom.

Iberia’s A330-300 economy class cabin consists of 242 seats, mostly in a 2-4-2 configuration and tapering down to a 2-3-2 configuration towards the back of the plane.

The seats are 18 inches wide and 31 inches in pitch.

This airplane offers 278 seats of two classes.

First 9 rows of seats are the seats of business class.

These seats are divided into two sections.

First section consists of 7 rows of seats and the second – of 2 rows.

These rows contain 4 seats each.

For passengers who need more privacy will be ideal the seats 2A, 2L, 4A, 4L, 6A, 6L and 8A, 8L.

For passengers travelling with a partner will be perfect the following seats: E and G seats of the rows 1, 3, 5, 7 and 8.

The only disadvantage of the seats 1C and 1J is close location of the galley.

The noise from the galley and lavatories will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 7C and 7J.

The best seats in business class are considered the seats 8A and 8L.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 9th row is location of the more crowded economy class behind.

Economy class seats may accommodate 242 passengers.

Most of the seats have 2-4-2 configuration.

These seats are located in two sections.

First section has 15 rows of seats.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of the seats of the 10th row is reduced a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers of the seats 10DEGH will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

These seats are considered good seats.

Location of the lavatories behind and limited recline are the main disadvantages of the seats 24DEGH, 24JL and 25AC.

The second section of economy class seats is located behind the exit row.

This section consists of 17 rows.

Due to the exit row the seats 26DEGH, 27AC and 27JL have extra space for passengers’ legs.

However, these seats are narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

As the seats 38D and 38H jut out into the aisle they are often bumped by other passengers passing by and service carts.

As the seats 40DEH are misaligned with the seats in front the legroom of these seats is reduced a little.

Also the armrests of these seats are immovable reducing the width.

The noise from the galleys and lavatories behind and limited recline make the seats of the last 42nd row bad seats.

Iberia Fleet Airbus A330-200 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

This A330-200 airplane may accommodate 288 passengers in two classes: business and economy that in Iberia is referred to as tourist class.

Iberia’s A330-200 aircraft is one of the first in its’ fleet to be outfitted with its upgraded Business Class product featuring flat-bed seating.

The aircraft’s business class cabin featured 19 staggered seats (similar to these) and was located between the first two pairs of doors.

Economy class was split across two cabins and featured a total of 269 seats in a “2-4-2” configuration (“2-3-2” towards the end of the aircraft).

The center section of the A330 Business Class cabin offers two different seating arrangements found on alternate rows – one where both seats are close together and one where there’s a sizeable barrier between the two.

The seats closest together will probably suit couples best as, even though there’s a divider that can be raised between the seats, they’re a little close together if you don’t know the person next to you.

These seats also have the advantage of having a fixed table between them and the aisle which gives a feeling of privacy.

The second set of center seats are probably the weakest option on this aircraft.

They’re quite far apart and separated by two fixed tables so they’re not ideal if you plan to communicate with the person next to you during the flight.

They’re also right on the aisle so passengers in these seats are prone to having flight attendants or other passengers brush past them as they go by.

Business class offers 19 flat bed seats each of which has its’ own access to the aisle.

The seats 1C, 1J, 2DH, 3C, 3J, 4DH and 5C face out into the aisle making easier passengers to get in and out of them.

Passengers that need more privacy should choose the seats 1EG, 2A, 2L, 3EG, 4A, 4L and 5EG as these sears are positioned inwards.

The noise from the galleys will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 1C, 1J and 5C, 5E.

Location of the lavatory behind will cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 4 L and 5G.

Economy class may transport 269 passengers.

The seats of the economy class are divided into 2 sections divided from each other with an exit row.

Most of the seats here have 2-4-2 configuration.

Due to the exit row in front the seats 6AC and 6JL offer extra space for passengers’ legs.

Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, reduced width and proximity of the galley.

Missing windows make the seats 7A and 7L bad seats.

The only disadvantage of the seats 7C and 7J is close location of the galley.

Passengers of the seats 8DEGH will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom but location of the galley in front may cause discomfort.

The seats 25JL, 26AC and 26DEGH are less reclining than standard.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of these seats while waiting to use lavatories thus causing discomfort to passengers of thee seats.

Second section of economy class seats consists of 16 rows.

Thanks to the exit row located in front of the seats of the 27th row offer extra space for passengers’ legs.

However, as the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Also there is no floor storage during take-off and landing and the noise from the lavatories may cause discomfort as well.

As there is no seat behind the seat 37H is often bumped by other passengers and crew members passing by.

The main disadvantage of the seats 40C and 40J is close location to the lavatory.

The seats 41AC, 41JL and 42DEH are considered bad seats due to limited recline and the noise from the galleys and lavatory located behind.
