Iberia Fleet Airbus A321-200 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Airbus A321 operated by Iberia may either have only economy class seats or seats of two classes: business and economy depending on the demand.

The seat layout is 3-3 in both classes, but in business the middle seat is kept free.

Business seats are upholstered in grey fabric and have a pitch of 84cm/33in, a width of 44.5cm/17.5in and a recline of 30 degrees.

Emergency exits are on row nine in business and 23 in economy, so these offer extra legroom.

Seats 9F and 23F have a seat for cabin crew opposite for landing and take-off.

Row one is near the toilet and galley so it provides more legroom but could also mean some disturbance.

Economy class is separated from business by a curtain, and is configured 3-3.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Iberia Airbus A321-200

Seat Map and Seating Chart Iberia Airbus A321 200
Seat Map and Seating Chart Iberia Airbus A321 200

The most common variant is configuration with 50 business class seats and 124 economy class seats.

The middle seats in the business class are left unoccupied providing additional space to passengers.

Due to position of the bulkhead the seats of the 1st row may have limited space for passengers’ legs.

Also, these seats are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the galley the noise from which may be bothersome.

The only disadvantage of the seats 8C and 8D is limited recline.

Behind the exit row 5 more rows of business class seats are located.

Passengers of the seats of the 9th row will take advantage of extra legroom.

But as the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Anyway, these seats are considered the best seats of business class.

Economy class seats are located in two sections.

Most of the seats have 3-3 configuration.

There are 8 rows of seats in the first section: 7 rows have 3-3 configuration and 1 row has 2-2 configuration.

As the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable, these seats are a little narrower than standard.

Also, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Location of the exit row behind makes the seats 22BC and 22DE less reclining than standard.

The second section of economy class seats consists of 13 rows per 6 seats in each.

The best seats of the economy class are considered the seats of the 23rd row.

These seats offer extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Other passengers tend to congregate in the area of the seats of the 35th row while waiting to visit lavatories and thus causing discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Limited recline makes these seats bad seats.

Iberia Fleet Airbus A320-200 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Like the A319-100, Iberia also operated 2 cabin version of Airbus A320-200.

The first version, Business and Economy Class sections can be adjusted according to demand.

In Business Class, the middle seat is always left unoccupied on all domestic flights, and flights to Europe, North Africa, and the Near East.

Second version, an Airbus A320 aircraft that is operated by Iberia Express on short and medium haul routes, a subsidiary of Iberia.

The Business and Economy class sections can be adjusted according to demand.

The configuration shown is the most common with 18 Business class seats.

In Business class, the middle seat is always left unoccupied to allow for more room for the Business Class passengers.

The first version of Airbus A320 is the most common among two versions.

It may transport 162 passengers in two classes.

First 5 rows represent seats of business class.

The middle seats are blocked providing more space for passengers of business class.

The seats of the 1st row have the following disadvantages: limited legroom, reduced with, location of the galleys and lavatory in front and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The seats 2D and 2F provide passengers with extra legroom.

However, as the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class offers 144 standard seats that are located in 24 rows.

All the seats have 3-3 configuration.

The tray table of the seats of the 6th row are in the armrests making them immovable and reducing the width.

Also these seats have mo floor storage during take-off and landing.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 10th row is limited recline.

Location of the seats of the 11th row between two exit rows on the one hand provides these seats with extra space for passengers’ legs but on the other makes these seats less reclining than standard.

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

Thanks to the exit row located in front the seats of the 12th row have extra legroom.

Among disadvantages: reduced width and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

The noise from the galley and lavatories located behind will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 29C, 29D and the seats of the 30th row.

Another disadvantage of the seats of the last 30th row is limited recline.

These seats are considered bad seats.

Second version of Airbus A320 is used by Iberia express during short and medium-haul flights.

This airplane offers seats of two classes: business and economy.

The number of business class seats depends on demand.

The most common configuration contains 18 business class seats.

The middle seats in business class are not sold providing additional space to passengers.

All the seats here are standard, only the seats 1AC and 2DF have the following disadvantages: limited space for passengers legs because of bulkhead position, location of the galley in front, reduced width because the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class may accommodate 162 passengers.

All the seats here have 3-3 configuration.

Location of the exit row behind makes the seats of the 11th row less reclining.

Passengers of the seats of the 12th row will take advantage of extra legroom.

But on the other hand these seats have limited recline because of the exit row located behind, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are narrower than standard.

Exit row located in front provides the seats of the 14th row with additional legroom.

However, as the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.

Anyway, these seats are considered the best seats of the economy class.

Limited recline and location of the galley and lavatories behind make the seats of the last 34th row bad seats.

The Business and Economy Class sections can be adjusted according to demand, and Business class can have as little as no seats and as many as 44.

In Business Class, the middle seat is always left unoccupied on all domestic flights, and flights to Europe, and North Africa.

There is a second version of this aircraft that flies with Iberia’s Business Club product and has Business Class set up in a 2-2 configuration.

This A319 aircraft model operates on medium-long haul routes and flies in a two class configuration with 14 Business Club seats and 102 Economy Class seats.

There is another version of this aircraft that is the original A319 configuration, with convertible Business Class seats, but does not offer the Business Club seating product.

Business Club passengers each receive an exclusive toiletry kit and can use a pillow and blanket for sleeping.

They also have access to fast-track treatment in security control and can earn extra Iberia Plus frequent flyer points.

This airplane may accommodate 118 passengers in two classes.

Business class offers 34 seats.

During internal flights and flights to North Africa and Europe the middle seats of business class are not sold providing additional space to passengers.

Due to position of the bulkhead the legroom of of the seats 1A and 1C is limited.

Among other disadvantages of these seats: the noise from the lavatory and galleys located in front, as the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Passengers of the seats 2D and 2F will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

However, these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Anyway, these seats are considered good seats.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the 9th row is limited recline.

Behind the exit row 84 seats of the economy class are located.

All the seats here have 3-3 configuration.

The best seats of the economy class are considered the seats of the 10th row.

Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to extra legroom that these seats offer.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is slightly reduced.

Another disadvantage of these seats is lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

Location of the galley and lavatories behind may represent a problem for passengers of the seats 24C, 24D and of the seats of the 25th row.

Limited recline makes the seats of the last 25th row bad seats.

This version of Airbus A319 is used by Iberia during medium-haul flights.

Airbus A319 of this configuration offers 116 seats of two classes.

Business class consists of 14 recliner seats that have 6 inch recline.

First row of business class contains 2 seats.

The seats of the 1st row have limited space for passengers’ legs, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the lavatory and galleys the noise from which may cause discomfort.

The seats of the other 3 rows of business class have 2-2 configuration.

Extra legroom ofthe seats 2D and 2F makes these seats good seats.

However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

Economy class consists of 102 standard seats that have 4 inch recline.

The seats of the economy class contain 18 rows that are divided into two sections.

First section contains 3 rows and the second section contains 15 rows.

All the economy class seats have 3-3 configuration.

Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 9th row have limited recline.

Passengers of the seats of the 10th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

These seats are considered the best seats of the economy class.

Among some disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width.

Lufthansa Fleet Boeing 747-8I Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

This Boeing 747-8I aircraft accommodates 364 passengers in a four class configuration.

First Class features Lufthansa’s new First Class suite, now situated on the main deck and limited to 8 passengers.

Business Class features Lufthansa’s new flat bed business class seat in 2-2-2 configuration on the main deck and 2-2 on the upper deck.

Economy class features individual television monitors.

The first class seat is a jaw-dropping 31 inches wide, 83 inches in pitch, and 81 inches in bed mode.

There are a total of 8 open suites in first class, all of which are located in the nose on the upper deck of the aircraft.

With the lavatories and galleys located at the back of the first class cabin, the best seats are going to be located at 1A and 1K.

If you’re traveling with a companion, conversation could be difficult while sitting across a wide aisle from one another.

With this in mind, couples or traveling partners might be more comfortable in 3D and 3G.

But really, seats 1A and 1K are the main reasons why the Lufthansa 747-8 is the best first class product; the privacy is matched by no other aircraft.

The 80-seat business class arrangement on the 747-8 is in 2 separate areas of the aircraft.

The best business class seats in the 747-8 will be in row 11.

This is because the lavatories and galleys are further forward from your seat and no other business class passengers will be walking past you.

Lufthansa 747-8 has 32 premium economy seats, each 19 inches wide and 38 inches in pitch arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration across 4 rows.

Seats 21A/C, 22D-G, and 21H/K are exit row seats that offer a lot of extra legroom.

However, they’re still “close” to the lavatories, though in actuality the lavatories are far enough forward that the main thing to worry about is the foot traffic.

The economy seat size of the 747-8 is the same as the 747-4, only instead of 272 seats, there are 244 seats.

Seating on the 747-8 is in a 3-4-3 configuration with 3 rows of 2-4-2 in rows 45-47.

The best seats, in this case, will be side rows 45-47 because there are only 2 seats per side.

This version of Boeing 747-8 operated by Lufthansa may transport 364 passengers in four classes.

First class may transport 8 passengers.

It has 3 rows of 8 open suites.

Passengers traveling with a companion will feel comfortable on the seats 3D and 3G.

Business class of the lower deck has 8 rows of seats per 6 in each.

First section of seats includes 6 rows.

The only disadvantage of the seats of 4th row is close location of the galley and lavatories.

Proximity of the lavatories may also cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of 9th row.

The second section of the business class contains 2 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.

All these seats are standard only proximity to the bulkhead and galleys may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 10AC and 10HK.

Behind the Business class are located 4 rows of Economy class seats.

The seats of the 16th row and seats 18DEFG have less space for passengers’ legs because of the bulkhead position.

The seats 20A and 20K are considered bad seats as these seats have limited recline, have no windows and are located close to the lavatories.

The other seats of the 20th row have the same disadvantages: limited recline and proximity of the lavatories.

Premium Economy class includes 32 seats located in 4 rows that have 2-4-2 configuration.

Passengers of the seats 22AC and 22HK will take advantage of extra space for their legs thanks to the exit row located in front.

At the same time other passengers tend to gather in this area in order to visit lavatories.

The seats 22DEFG on the contrary have limited legroom due to the bulkhead position.

Proximity of the lavatories is another disadvantage of these seats.

Economy class located behind Premium class consists of 23 rows of seats divided into 2 sections.

7 rows are located in the first section and 16 rows in the second one.

The seats of the 27th row have extra space for passengers’ legs but are a little narrower than standard as they tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

The seats 32DEFG are located close to the galleys and this may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Close location of the galleys will be also a problem for passengers of the seats of 33rd row.

These seats may also have limited recline.

Proximity of the galleys is the main disadvantage of the seats of 34th row.

Close location of the lavatories may represent problem for passengers of the seats 47BC, 47HJ, 48D, 48G and of the seats of the last 49th row.

In addition the seats 47BC and 47HJ as well as the seats of the 49th row may have limited recline that is why these seats are considered bad seats.

The Business class of the upper deck may accommodate 32 passengers in 8 rows.

All these seats are standard only proximity of the lavatories may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 81C, 81H and 88H.

The second version of Boeing 747-8 has also 4 classes of seats: first, business, premium economy and economy.

First class has 8 open suites located in 3 rows. All of them are standard.

Behind the first class are located seats of the business class that is divided into two sections.

First section consists of 6 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.

The first row of the section, i.e. the seats of the 4th row are located close to the lavatories and galleys that may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

Proximity of the lavatories may also represent a problem to passengers of the last row in first section. i.e. of the seats of 9th row.

The second section of business class has 4 rows of seats per 6 in each.

Close location of the bulkhead and galleys may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 10AC and 10HK.

Passengers of the seats 14C, 14DG and 14H may feel discomfort because of the proximity of lavatories.

Premium economy seats are located in 4 rows and have 2-4-2 configuration.

The seats of the 22nd row have extra legroom thanks to the exit row located in front but at the same time other passengers tend to gather in this area in order to visit lavatories.

Economy class consists of 2 section of seats.

Most of the seats of economy class have 3-4-3 configuration.

Passengers of the seats of 27th rowwill take advantage of extra space for their legs, but the width of these seats is reduced a little as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

The only disadvantage of the seats of the last rows in the first section, i.e. the seats 32DEFG and the seats of the 33rd row is close location of the galleys.

The second section of economy class is located behind exit row and galleys.

That is why passengers of the seats of 34th row may feel some discomfort because of proximity of the galleys.

The seats 47BC and 47HJ may be less reclining and their close location to lavatories may also represent a problem to passengers of these seats as well as to passengers of the seats 48D and 48G.

49th row is the last row of the airplane and the seats of this row are considered bad seats as they may have limited recline and are located close to the lavatories.

The upper deck of this airplane is allocated for passengers of the business class.

32 seats are located here.

The seats 81C and 81H have such a disadvantage as proximity of the lavatories.

Passengers of the seat 88H may also fell discomfort because of close location of the lavatory and galleys.

Lufthansa Fleet Boeing 747-400 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Lufthansa runs 2 versions of Boeing 747-400 jumbo-jet airplanes.

First version is configured with 53 flat bed Business Class seats, 32 Premium Economy Seats, and 308 standard Economy seats.

Second version is configured with 67 flat bed Business Class seats, 32 Premium Economy Seats, and 272 standard Economy seats.

The 747-4, features an interesting business class seating configuration.

Most seats are in a 2-3-2 configuration, which tapers down into a 2-2 configuration at other parts of the aircraft.

The best seat is 4D, which is a lone seat in the middle of the mini-cabin located at the nose of the upper deck.

If traveling with a companion, seats in row 1 will definitely appeal to you, as travelers love the privacy it affords.

There are 32 premium economy seats spread out in a 2-4-2 configuration across 4 rows.

The seat map looks the same as the 747-8, except that the galleys and lavatories are much closer to the premium economy cabin, which can result in some added noise and foot traffic.

For the simple reason that the lavatories and galleys are closer to the premium economy seats, we believe that the best seats are in row 27; specifically, seats 27A/C and 27H/K are great for solo and duo travelers.

Lufthansa 747-400 has 272 economy seats in a 3-4-3 configuration.

Each seat is 17.1 inches wide and 31 inches in pitch.

The seats are 0.2 inches narrower than the the A340-600 and 1.1 inches narrower than the A380.

It is the most common version.

Business class seats are located both in the lower deck and in the upper deck.

There are totally 53 flat bed seats in the Business class.

31 seats of the Business class are located in the lower deck.

17 of these seats are located in the first section that contains 4 rows of the seats most of which have 2-2 configuration.

The other 14 seats are located in the second section in two rows that have 2-3-2 configuration.

Other passengers of the Business class tend to gather in the area of the seats of the 10th row in order to visit lavatories located here.

Behind the business class of the lower deck are located 36 seats of the economy class.

The seats of the 20th row may have less space for passengers’ legs because of the bulkhead position.

Premium Economy Class includes 32 seats located in 4 rows that have 2-4-2 configuration.

All these seats are standard only the seats of the 24th row have restricted legroom due to the bulkhead position.

Close location of the galleys may cause inconvenience to passengers of these seats.

Behind the Premium Economy Class are located the other 272 seats of the Economy class.

These seats are divided into three sections.

First section has 3 rows of seats.

The seats of the 29th row may have restricted legroom because of the bulkhead position.

Close location to the lavatories may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 30DEFG and of the seats of 31st row.

The second section of the Economy class is located behind the exit row.

That is why the seats of the 32nd row have extra legroom.

At the same time proximity of the lavatories may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.

The seats 33A and 33K are considered the best seats as they have extra space for passengers’ legs due to the missing seats in front.

The only disadvantage of the seats 33C, 33DEFG and 33H is proximity of the lavatories.

The third section of the economy class sis located behind another exit row and galleys.

The seats of the 43rd row have limited legroom due to the bulkhead position.

Proximity of the galleys may represent a problem.

Close location to the lavatories may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats 56BC, 56HJ, 57D, 57G and of the seats of the last 58th row.

The seats 56BC and 56HJ as well as the seats of the last 58th row are considered bad seats as these seats may have limited recline.

In the upper deck are located other 22 seats of the Business class.

The seats are divided into three section.

The first section is the smallest one.

It consists of 3 rows of seats.

The seats of the 29th row may have less legroom due to the bulkhead position.

The main disadvantage of the seats 30DEFG and of the seats of 31st row is proximity of the lavatories.

The second section of economy class eats is located behind exit row that is why passengers of the seats 32BC and 32HJ will take advantage of extra space for their legs.

At the same time other passengers tend to gather in this area in order to visit lavatories.

The seats 33A and 33K are considered the best seats as they have extra legroom as there are no seats in front.

Lufthansa Fleet Airbus A380-800 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout

Lufthansa flies this version of their Airbus A380-800 in a four class configuration with 8 First Class open suites, 78 flat bed Business Class seats, 52 Premium Economy seats, and 371 standard Economy seats.

4 classes of seats are located in two decks of the airplane.

In the lower deck are located seats of the Premium Economy and Economy class.

In the upper deck – first class, business class and few seats of economy class.

An aviation marvel, the double-decker superjumbo still has only 8 first class seats, which makes the experience very exclusive, private, and luxurious.

Each seat is 31 inches wide, 81 inches in pitch, and 81 inches long in bed mode.

Interestingly, the lavatories are located at the front of the first class cabin while the galleys are located at the back.

When a cabin is split like this, the rule of thumb is to avoid the lavatories over avoiding the galley.

As a result, solo travelers may like window seats in row 2 while traveling companions may prefer to sit together in 2D and 2G on the A380.

On the Lufthansa superjumbo A380, there are 78 fully lie-flat seats in the same 2-2-2 configuration and seating arrangement as the 747-8.

The main difference is that all the business class seats are situated together, making the cabin quite dense.

There are lavatories and galleys at the front and middle of the business class cabin, so the best seats are going to be at the back of the business class cabin, preferably in rows 24 or 23.

Not only is the A380 the quietest aircraft in the sky but, it also happens to have a great premium economy seat configuration.

The seats themselves are 19 inches wide and 38 inches in pitch, which is pretty ordinary for premium economy seats.

The A380 offers the best economy seats and is the best aircraft to fly economy on, to be honest.

The Seats are 18.2 inches wide and 31 inches in pitch!

This is actually wider than most of the premium economy seats on Lufthansa.

371 economy seats are arranged in the A380 with a 3-4-3 configuration, for the most part.

Since the A380 is a double-decker, there are two distinct economy sections.

If you can, you always want to be seated in the smaller economy class section, which is arranged in a 2-4-2 arrangement and is more private than the larger sections.

That being said, the best economy seats on the A380 are 95C-H and 76A/K.

With the exit row in front of row 95, you’ll enjoy unlimited legroom.

However, avoid 95A and 95K due to the protrusion of the exit row door into your leg space.

76A/K are outstanding economy seats because there’s no seat in front to hinder your legroom.

Overall, the A380 economy seats are the largest, and by choosing the preferential seats, your in-flight experience will be dramatically better.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Lufthansa Airbus A380-800 Lower Deck

Seat Map and Seating Chart Lufthansa Airbus A380 800 Lower Deck

The lower deck starts with the seats of the Premium Economy class that may accommodate 52 passengers.

The seats of the 1st row of this class, i.e. the seats 50AC and 50Hk have some extra space for passengers’ legs but close location of the lavatory may cause discomfort.

Passengers of the seats 52DEFG may take advantage of extra legroom due to the bulkhead position.

However, close location to the stairs that lead to upper deck may be bothersome.

Close location of the lavatories may represent a problem for passengers of the seats 56C, 56DEFG and of the seats 57AC and 57HK.

Economy class in the lower deck is divided into three sections.

Most of the seats in the economy class have 3-3-3 configuration.

The seats of the 60th row as well as the seats 61DEFG have no floor storage during take-off and landing.

As the tray tables are in the armrests, the width of these seats is reduced a little.

Also, proximity of the galleys may be a problem.

Proximity of the lavatories may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 73DEFG and of the 74th row.

The first section is divided from the second with emergency exit.

That is why the seats if the 1st row in the 2nd section, i.e. the seats of the 75th row have extra space for passengers’ legs.

Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing, reduced width of these seats as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

Other passengers tend to congregate in this area in order to visit lavatories located here.

The seats 76A and 76K are the best seats as they have extra legroom due to the missing seats in front.

The seats 76DEFG are narrower than standard, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the lavatories.

The only disadvantage of the seats of 87th row is proximity of the galleys and lavatories.

The third section of the economy class in the economy class consists of 7 rows of seats that have 3-4-3 configuration.

The seats of the 88th row are located close to the galleys, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are slightly narrower than standard.

Close location to the lavatories may be bothersome for passengers of the seats 93C, 93D, 93G, 93H and of the seats of the last 94th row.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Lufthansa Airbus A380-800 Upper Deck

The upper deck has 8 open suites in the first class that have 180 degree recline.

Business class includes 78 flat bed seats that also have 180 degree recline.

These seats are divided into 2 sections.

First section consists of 9 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.

All of these seats are standard.

Only close location of the seats of the first and last row of the section, i.e. of the 10th and 20th row to the galleys and lavatories may be bothersome.

The second section of Business class has 4 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.

The only disadvantage of the seats of 21st row is proximity of the galleys.

The last rows in the upper deck are the seats of the economy class.

These seats are located behind the exit row that is why the seats of the 95th row have extra legroom and are considered good seats.

As to the seats 95A and 95K, these seats have no windows.

The main disadvantage of the seats 98AC, 98GHK and the seats of the last 99th row is close location of the lavatory and galley.
