There are three versions of United’s 737-700. This version seats a total of 118 passengers and includes power ports for both First and Economy Plus seats.

All 737-700 Domestic aircrafts in this fleet are outfitted with United’s Economy Plus class of service featuring up to 5″ of extra seat pitch.

The first class consists of 3 rows of seats that have 2-2 configuration.

The seats 1A and 1B are considered good seats as they have some extra legroom as the bulkhead has a small cutout.

Among disadvantages of these seats: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and slightly restricted width of the seats.

The seats 1E and 1F have restricted space for passengers’ legs, are narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable, have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are located close to the galleys.

The main disadvantage of the seats of the 3rd row is limited recline.

Economy Plus class has 8 rows of seats.

The seats of the 7th row have no floor storage during take-off and landing and a narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrest.

The seats 10A and 10F are missing windows.

As behind the seats of the 12th row exit row is located, they are less reclining.

The seats 20BC and 20DE are perfect for passengers who are traveling with a partner.

These seats have extra shoulder room as there are no window seats in these row.

But these seats do not recline.

Passengers of the seats 21A and 21F will take advantage of extra space for their legs due to the missing seats in front.

At the same time under seat storage and TV are two rows away from these seats.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

The other seats of the 21st row (BCDE) have some extra space as the seats in front do not recline.

Economy class may transport 66 passengers.

It has 11 rows of seats that have 3-3 configuration.

The seats of the last 3 rows, i.e. 30th-32nd rows are 1 inch narrower than other standard seats on the airplane because of the curvature of the airplane’s tail.

The seats of the last 32nd row may not recline because of the wall behind.

Overhead bins are used for crew members’ purposes.

Other passengers tend to gather in this area in order to visit lavatories.

That is why these seats are considered bad seats.

First class includes 12 seats located in 3 rows per 4 seats in each.

The seats 1A and 1B have extra space for passengers’ legs thanks to the cutout in the bulkhead.

However, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and are a little narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.

The seats 1E and 1F have the same disadvantages as the seats 1A and 1B plus restricted legroom.

Economy class has 112 seats.

The seats of the 7th row have such disadvantages as: lack of floor storage during take-off and landing and reduced width of the seats.

The seats 10A and 10F have no windows.

The seats of the 14th row are less reclining.

The seats of the 20th row are ideal for passengers who are traveling with a partner.

These seats are not reclining as exit row is located behind.

At the same time these seats have extra space for shoulders as there are no windows seats at this row.

Passengers of the seats 21A and 21F will take advantage of extra legroom as there are no seats in front.

As the tray tables are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.

The seats of the last three rows (30-32) have reduced width of the seats as the tail of the airplane has a curvature.

Proximity of the lavatories may cause inconvenience to passengers of the seats of the 32nd row.

These seats also have no overhead storage and have limited or no recline.
