Aeroméxico Fleet Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout
The Aeromexico Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner flies in a two class configuration with 6 abreast seating in Clase Premier Business Class and 9 abreast seating in Main Cabin Economy Class.
Seating in Main Cabin is further divided into AM Plus, offering additional legroom plus priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling (for an additional fee), Preferred, offering seating near the front of the aircraft or Exit Rows (for an additional fee), and standard.
The layout is 1-2-1 with the reverse herringbone style seat, compared to the 2-2-2 Diamond seat setup in the smaller Dreamliner.
This means that every passenger in Clase Premier has direct aisle access.
In between the two access doors, the main cabin offers 32 seats.
Between door 2 and economy there is a mini-cabin of one row.
These seats offer a great amount of privacy; however, there is potential for a lot of foot traffic and noise from the economy cabin.
Aeromexico’s 787-9s feature Collins Aerospace Super Diamond seats in business class, which means they’re laid out in a 1-2-1 configuration, far superior to the 2-2-2 configuration found on the carrier’s -8s.
Clase Premier (the airline’s name for its business-class product) is divided into two cabins, with the larger forward cabin having 30 seats and the small minicabin behind it having just six.
The seat itself measured 21 inches wide and was trimmed with navy blue fabric.
Beside the almost indistinguishable red stitching on each seat, there was not much to speak of in terms of the design of the cabin.
Within the larger storage unit was the headphone jack, a USB port and universal AC port, as well as the remote for the IFE system.
In lie-flat mode, the bed measured 78 inches long, and the armrest next to the seat lowered to get a little extra surface area to sleep on.
The seats in Clase Premier are full flat.
The seat can be adjusted using a touchscreen and there is ample storage space in and around the seat.
A power port, handset, USB-port and a mirror are stored in compartments.
A reading light is available above the passenger’s shoulder.
The entertainment screen measures 18 inches; two inches bigger than the Dreamliner.
In economy class the configuration is a standard 3-3-3.
The first three rows are dedicated to the AM Plus cabin, Aeromexico’s extra legroom product, offering four more inches of space.
AM Plus passengers also receive priority services such as check-in, boarding and luggage delivery.
The legroom in AM Plus was excellent, but the regular economy legroom was good for someone measuring over six feet tall.
Standard economy passengers have an 11-inch entertainment screen with a USB-port and a power port to charge their gadgets.
The second economy class cabin features six seats next to the emergency exit row offering a large amount of legroom.
However, these are situated next to the galley which may possibly entail some noise disturbance.
Seat Map and Seating Chart Aeromexico Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
Seat Map and Seating Chart Aeromexico Boeing 787 9 Dreamliner
Boeing 787-9 operated by Aeromexico may accommodate 264 passengers in two classes.
First 10 rows of seats offer 36 flat bed seats of the first class (clase premier).
These seats have 180 degrees recline. All these seats transform into fully-fledged beds.
The seats of the first class are located into two sections.
First section consists of 8 rows of seats: 7 of them have 1-2-1 configuration and one row contains just 2 seats.
The only disadvantage of the seats of the 1st row is close location of the lavatory and galley in front of these seats.
Location of the bar behind may cause discomfort to passengers of the seats 7DF, 8A and 8J.
Behind the exit row 2 more rows of first class seats are located.
There are totally 6 seats here.
The noise from the lavatories and self serve bar will cause discomfort to passengers of the seats of the 9th row.
Economy class seats are divided into two sections.
First three rows located behind first class seats are classified by Aeromexico as AM Plus seats to book which an extra fee must be paid.
These seats, i.e. the seats of the rows 12-15 offer 4 additional inches of legroom.
The seats of the 12th row are considered good seats thanks to extra legroom that these seats offer.
However, the width is slightly reduced because the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable.
Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
For passengers with infants these seats offer bassinets.
The main disadvantages of the seats 24DEF, 25ABC and 25GHJ are limited recline and location of the lavatories behind.
Behind the exit row 15 more rows of economy class seats are located.
Passengers of the seats 26ABC and 26GHJ will take advantage of extra space for their legs.
These seats are designated by Aeromexico as Preferred seats.
An additional fee must be paid to choose these seats.
Among disadvantages: reduced width and no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Protrusion of the exit door is another disadvantage of the seats 26A and 26J.
As there are no seats in front the seats 27DEF these seats offer extra legroom.
But location of the galleys in front and reduced width may cause some discomfort to passengers of these seats.
Missing windows make the seats 37A and 37J bad seats.
Proximity of the lavatories is the only disadvantage of the seats 39D and 39F.
The seats 39ABC, 39J and 40DEF are less reclining than standard and are located close to the lavatories and galleys that is why these seats are considered bad seats.

Aeroméxico Fleet Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout
The Aeromexico Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flies in a two class configuration with 6 abreast seating in Clase Premier Business Class and 9 abreast seating in Main Cabin Economy Class.
Seating in Main Cabin is further divided into AM Plus, offering additional legroom plus priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling (for an additional fee), Preferred, offering seating near the front of the aircraft or Exit Rows (for an additional fee), and standard.
The forward business class cabin consisted of a total of 24 seats, spread across four rows in a 2-2-2 configuration.
Then there was a further mini-cabin behind the main entry door, consisting of a total of eight seats (six seats in one row, and then a center section with two more seats).
These seats feature small foot cubbies which are installed into the seat in front of you, due to the slight angle of the seats.
The personal television was installed into the seat, and immediately below it was a storage rack.
The seat controls are located on the center armrest, and are easy to use.
You can push a single button to put the seat into the upright or fully reclined position, or you can choose specific settings.
On the back right of seat was a storage area, along with two power outlets (one 110v, and one USB), as well as the headphone jack.
The Aeroméxico Boeing 787-8 Economy Class has a high-density 3-3-3 seat layout: three seats on the left side of the plane, three seats in the middle and three on the right.
The seat pitch in the Aeroméxico Boeing 787-8 Economy Class cabin is 34 inches.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Aeromexico Boeing 787 8 Dreamliner
This Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner airplane may accommodate 20 passengers in the first class (clase premier) and 211 passengers in the economy class.
20 seats of the first class are divided into two sections.
These seats have 180 degrees recline.
These seats are transformed into fully-fledged beds.
First section of the first class contains 4 rows of seats that have 2-2-2 configuration.
As the seat 1G faces out into the aisle the noise from the galley located nearby may be bothersome.
The seats 4A and 4J have no windows, these seats are considered bad seats.
Second section of the first class is located behind the exit row.
It contains 2 rows of seats.
One row has just 2 seats and the second row has 2-2-2 configuration.
The only disadvantage of the seats 5DF, 6C and 6G is close location of the galleys and lavatory in front.
Economy class seats are also located in two sections.
First section has 13 rows of seats that have 3-3-3 configuration.
Aeromexico designates the seats of the 8th row as AM Plus seats because they offer 4 extra inches of legroom.
An extra fee must be paid to reserve these seats.
Location of the tables in the armrests makes these seats a little narrower than standard.
Lack of floor storage is one more disadvantage of these seats.
Passengers traveling with babies are often seated in this row because these seats have bassinets.
The main disadvantages of the seats of the 21st row are: limited recline and location of the lavatories behind.
Second section of the economy class contains 12 rows of seats.
There are totally 94 seats here.
Aeromexico designates the seats 22DEF, 23ABC and 23GHJ as preferred seats to choose which an extra fee must be paid.
Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs.
However, other passengers tend to gather in the area of these seats while waiting to use lavatories causing discomfort.
As the tray tables are built-in the armrests these seats are a little narrower than standard.
Also, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
For passengers traveling with infants the seats 22DEF offer bassinets.
Missing windows is one more disadvantage of the seats 23A and 23J.
The only disadvantage of the seats 30A and 30J is missing windows.
Due to missing seats behind the seats 31C and 31G are often bumped by other passengers passing by and service carts.
The seats 32AC and 32GJ have some extra space toward the windows.
But proximity of the galley and lavatories will cause discomfort.
Limited recline and noise from the galleys and lavatories located near the seats 33DEF make these seats bad seats.

Aeroméxico Fleet Boeing 737 Max 8 Cabin Interior Class Configuration and Seats Layout
The Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft is configured with 16 Clase Premier Business Class seats, 18 AM Plus Economy Class seats offering additional legroom, and 132 standard Economy Class seats.
The interiors of Aeromexico Boeing 737 MAX 8 were designed by New Territory (who also designed the Dreamliner), Sabeti Wain Aerospace (upholstery), and fabricated by Rockwell Collins, the world’s most well-known manufacturer of airplane interiors.
Moreover, the 16 seats in Clase Premier feature an Aeromexico-exclusive design.
Leather exteriors
Smart Tray tables, with charging ports
13-inch high-def screens (two more inches than the current model), equipped with Bluetooth and camera
Noise-cancelling headphones
As for the 18 AM Plus and 132 Main Cabin seats, they include an adjustable headrest for more comfort, 10-inch high-def screens (one more than the current model), USB connection, and e-leather exteriors.
E-leather is a sustainable material that reduces the need for traditional leather.
One of the other innovative elements of the 737 MAX is the dynamic lighting included with Boeing Sky Interiors, which makes for both a warmer environment and a greater sense of space in the cabin.
LED lighting in the roof alters with phases of the flight, and reading lights are now easier to find.
With respect to in-flight entertainment, Aeromexico new fleet addition offers up the the latest in technology, not to mention a 10% larger video library and more premieres.
This elevated selection is complimented by an optimized sound system with speakers built in to every row.
Music selection has deepened as well, offering passengers variety with great sound quality.
Another thoroughly attractive feature of the 737 MAX 8 is a higher grade of antenna, improving WiFi connectivity during flight.
This technology is upgradable, making sure that the craft stays current with the latest in wireless solutions.
The bandwidth that the MAX will feature is three times that of its predecessor.
Seat Map and Seating Chart Aeromexico Boeing 737 Max 8
Seat Map and Seating Chart Aeromexico Boeing 737 Max 8
Boeing 737 Max 8 operated by Aeromexico offers 166 seats of three classes.
First 4 rows of seats are seats of clase premier, i.e. business class seats.
These seats have 2-2 configuration.
Passengers of these seats will feel comfortable thanks to leg rest they offer.
The seats of the 1st row have no floor storage during take-off and landing, close location to the lavatory and galley may cause discomfort to passengers of these seats.
TV displays of these seats are attached to the bulkhead.
Behind the Clase Premier seats 3 rows of AM Plus seats are located.
These 2 types of seats are divided from each other with a bulkhead.
AM Plus section offers 18 seats.
These seats are standard economy class seats.
Passengers of the seats of the 6th row will take advantage of extra space for their legs.
However, as the tray tables are built-in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.
Also, these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing and entertainment displays are installed on the bulkhead located in front.
Main cabin economy may accommodate 132 passengers.
There are totally 22 rows here. All the seats have 3-3 configuration.
The rows of the main cabin are divided from each other with two exit rows.
First section contains 4 rows of seats.
Missing window makes the seat 9A bad seat.
Because of the airplane structure the seats 10A and 10F have misaligned windows.
Due to the exit row located behind the seats of the 12th row have limited recline.
The seats of the 14th row are located between two exit rows that is why passengers of these seats on the one hand will take advantage of extra legroom, but on the other these seats are less reclining than standard.
Behind the second exit row the last 17 rows of economy class seats are located.
The best seats of the economy class are considered the seats of the 15th row because these seats offer additional legroom to passengers and extra personal space.
The only disadvantage of the seats 30C and 30D is close location to the galley and lavatory.
The seats of the last 31st row are considered bad seats because they are less reclining than standard due to the lavatory wall located behind, have less personal space when the seats in front are reclined by passengers and location of the galley and lavatory behind may cause discomfort because of the noise.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Aeromexico Boeing 737 800
Boeing 738-800 operated by Aeromexico offers 160 seats of three types: 16 seats of clase premier type (correspond to first class seats), 18 seats of AM Plus type and 126 seats of the economy class.
First 4 rows of seats are the seats of the first class.
These seats have 2-2 configuration.
All these seats are standard only the seats of the 1st class have some disadvantages: limited space for passengers’ legs and location of the lavatory and galley in front.
The seats of the first class are divided from the seats of AM Plus type with a bulkhead.
These seats have 3-3 configuration and are located in 3 rows. AM Plus seats offer 4 additional inches of legroom.
An extra fee must be paid to choose these seats.
As the tray tables of the seats of the 6th row are in the armrests the width of these seats is reduced a little.
Lack of floor storage during take-off and landing is another disadvantage of these seats.
Economy class seats are located in three sections.
All seats of the economy class have 3-3 configuration.
First section contains 4 rows of seats.
Missing window makes the seat 9A bad seat.
The only disadvantage of the seats 10A and 10F are misaligned windows.
These seats are designated by Aeromexico as preferred seats to book which an additional fee must be paid.
Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 12th row have limited recline.
Second section of economy class seats consists just of one row, 6 seats.
As the seats of the 14th row are located between two exit rows, passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra space and extra legroom but at the same time these seats are less reclining than standard.
Also these seats have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Behind the exit row the third section of economy class seats is located.
This section contains 16 rows.
Passengers of the seats of the 15th row will feel comfortable thanks to extra space for their legs.
These seats are designated as preferred seats to choose which an extra fee must be paid.
However, these seats are a little narrower than standard and have no floor storage during take-off and landing.
Additional inch of legroom makes the seats of the rows 28-29 the best seats.
Limited recline and location of the lavatories behind make the seats of the 30th row bad seats.
