Index of Delta Air Lines fleet. As of 4 June 2018, the Delta Air Lines mainline fleet comprises 868 aircraft in service, making it one of the largest airline fleets in the world. Before merging with Northwest Airlines in 2009, Delta Air Lines operated an all-Boeing and McDonnell Douglas fleet; it incorporated Northwest’s Airbus aircraft into its fleet following the merger and subsequently ordered further Airbus types. Delta is known for its policy of generally buying older generation or used aircraft and for continuing to fly aircraft for 20-30 years, much longer than most other major airlines. As such, it has one of the oldest fleets of any American airline, with an average fleet age of 16.7 years as of 31 December 2017. Fellow U.S. legacy carriers American Airlines and United Airlines have younger fleets; as of December 29, 2016, American had an average fleet age of 10.3 years, while United had an average fleet age of 14.1 years.

Passenger airplane Airbus A220-100 (that initially had the name Bombardier CS100) is the base model of the family of narrow body airplane Airbus A220 (earlier – Bombardier CSeries) constructed by Canadian aviation company Bombardier.
In July 2018 was announced the change of the name of entire family of airplanes to Airbus A220 that became result of collaboration between Canadian manufacturer and European airline consortium Airbus in promoting new airplanes on the word markets.
Airbus A220-100 is airplane for operation on the medium-haul routes with small passenger turnover that is not enough for loading bigger airplanes Airbus A320 and Boeing 737.

Seat Map and Seating Chart Airbus A220 100 Delta Air LinesDelta Air Lines Airbus A220 100 Seating Plan
Delta Air Lines Airbus A220-100 First Class Cabin Seats Layout
Most comfortable seats are located in the first three rows.
There are the seats of the first class.
These seats have 2-2 configuration, so the first class may accommodate 12 passengers.
The seats of the first class have 36 inches pitch and 21 inches width.
Unlike Comfort+ and Main Cabin, first class seats were graced with padded black armrests on both sides, which were quite supple.
Each seat had access to a 110v power port and USB ports (fixed to the IFE display)
Passengers of the seats of the 1st row may feel discomfort because of the lavatory and galley area located in front.
Also these seats have mo floor storage during take-off and landing and are located at a bulkhead.
Delta Air Lines Airbus A220-100 Premium Eco Comfort+ Class Cabin Seats Layout
Behind First class seats 15 seats of Delta Comfort+ class are located.
These seats are separated from First class seats with a bulkhead located at eye level.
These seats have 32 inches pitch and 18,6 inches width.
However, the width of the seats of the 10th row is reduced a little because of the tray tables that are built-in the armrests making them immovable.
These seats were identical to economy seats in terms of width and layout, but offer additional space for passengers’ legs.
Delta Air Lines Airbus A220-100 Economy Class/Main Cabin Seats Layout
Economy class may accommodate 82 passengers on standard seats that have 30-32 inches pitch and 18,6 inches width.
Because of the exit row located behind the seats of the 14th row have limited recline.
4 seats of the 15th row offer extra legroom and personal space to passengers.
The seat back of the seats 15CD has limited recline.
The best seats of the economy class are the seats of the 16th row.
Passengers of the seats 16CDE will take advantage of extra space for their legs and additional personal space because the seats in front have limited recline.
The only disadvantage of the seat 28C is close location to the lavatories.
Due to the wall located behind the seats 28AB these seats have limited recline and are considered bad seats.
Limited recline, reduced personal space when the seats in front are in reclining position and noise from lavatories and galleys located behind make the seats 29CDE bad seats.

Delta Air Lines Fleet McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30 Details and Pictures. Delta Air Lines operates 40 aircrafts McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30. This aircraft is the development of the construction of McDonnell Douglas MD-88.
As compared to its predecessor MD-90 has elongated by 1.4 meters body, more economic engines and improved aircraft hardware.
The commercial exploitation of the airplane began in 1995, however it hasn’t had such popularity among airline companies as earlier airplanes of DC-9 and MD-80 family.
During the construction period from 1993 to 20001 117 MD-90 airplanes were produced.
MD-90 was constructed in two variants – basic MD-90-30 and variant with increased flying range MD-90-30ER.
The further development of construction became MD-95 that was later renamed as Boeing-717. This old aircraft will being replaced by Airbus A321-200 and Boeing 737-900ER.

Delta Air Lines McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30 Seat Map Seating Chart and Class Configuration Details Overview
Seat Map and Seating Chart McDonnell Douglas MD 90 Delta Air Lines
With the engines mounted at the rear of this aircraft, most travelers enjoy a relatively quiet cabin and inflight experience.
The left-hand side of the aircraft may be more desirable for those traveling as a couple due to a configuration of 2 x 3. It is reported that the recline for seats on this aircraft are inferior to other domestic narrow body jets.
Overhead bins are also smaller than standard and roll-aboard suitcases must often be placed sideways to fit.
First class seats have 2-2 configuration.
The seats of the 1st row have less space for passengers legs as in front of them bulkhead is located.
Proximity to the galley and lavatory is another disadvantage of these seats.
The seat 4B is often bumped by other passengers and crew members.
Delta Comfort+ has 3 rows of seats that have 2-3 configuration.
Passengers of the seats 10AB and 10DE are considered the best seats as they have extra legroom as this section is divided from the seats of the First class just with c curtain.
As the tray tables are in the armrests, the width of these seats is reduced a little.
The seat 10C has the same peculiarities as other seats of this row plus this seat is often bumped by crew members and other passengers.
There are 129 seats in Economy class of this airplane.
The seats of the 24th row are not reclining as there is emergency exit behind.
The seats of the 25th row have limited recline.
These seats are designated by Delta Airlines as preferred seats that are reserved for Delta Medallion members.
These seats may be given to other passengers at time of check-in if available.
Passengers of the seats 26A and 26E will take advantage of extra legroom as there are no seats in front.
But these seats have limited recline due to the exit row located behind.
These seats may be selected by Delta Medallion members at time of booking or afterwards and become available to other passengers at time of check-in.
The seats 26BCD have limited recline as well.
The seats of the 27th row do not recline but have extra space for passengers legs.
These seats are narrower than standard as the tray tables are built-in the armrests making them immovable.
In addition the seats 27A and 27E have no window-side armrests and it can get cold here by the exits during the flight.
All the seats of 27th row are considered preferred seats that are reserved for Delta Medallion members.
The seats 33A and 33B have limited recline.
The seats 36A is considered the best seat as passenger of this seat as well as passenger of the seat 36B will be able to take advantage of extra space for their legs as there are no seats in front.
However, location of the crew seat in front of the seat 36B may be bothersome. These two seats are reserved for Delta Medallion members.
The seats 38A and 38E are standard.
Their only disadvantage is view that is blocked by the engines.
The proximity of the lavatories mat represent a problem for passengers of the seats 38B and 38C as well as for passengers of the last 39th row.
The seats of the last row are considered bad seats also because there are no windows here and the seats have limited recline.

In Delta Comfort+ section seats are located in 5 rows and have 3-2 configuration.
The best seats hear are the seats 10AB and 10DE.

Also this seat is often bumped by service carts and other passengers.
The seat 12A has misaligned window.
Economy class includes 108 standard seats that also have 3-2 configuration.
As the seats of the 23rd row are located in front of emergency exit, they have limited recline.
The seats of the 24th row have extra space for passengers legs as they are located in front of exit row.
At the same time there is another exit row behind that is why these seats have limited recline.
These seats are designated by Delta Airlines as preferred seats that may be chosen by Delta Medallion members at time of booking or later and become available for other passengers at time of check-in.
The best seats are the seats of the 25th row and the seat 33A passengers of which will take advantage of extra legroom.

Delta Air Lines Fleet Boeing 777-200LR Details and Pictures. Delta Air Lines currently operated 10 wide-body long haul aircraft Boeing 777-200LR. This aircraft, is development result from Boeing 777-200ER.
The 777-200LR (“LR” for Longer Range), the C-market model, entered service in 2006 as one of the longest-range commercial airliners.
Boeing named it Worldliner as it can connect almost any two airports in the world, although it is subject to ETOPS restrictions. It holds the world record for the longest nonstop flight by a commercial airliner.
It has a maximum design range of 8,555 nautical miles (15,844 km) as of 2017. The -200LR was intended for ultra long-haul routes such as Los Angeles to Singapore.
Developed alongside the -300ER, the -200LR features an increased MTOW and three optional auxiliary fuel tanks in the rear cargo hold.
Other new features include extended raked wingtips, redesigned main landing gear, and additional structural strengthening.
As with the -300ER and 777F, the -200LR is equipped with wingtip extensions of 12.8 ft (3.90 m). The -200LR is powered by GE90-110B1 or GE90-115B turbofans.

Delta Air Lines Boeing 777-200LR Seating Chart and Cabin Class Configuration Details Overview
Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 777 200LR Delta Air Lines
Both the 777-200ER and the 777-200LR have the exact same cabin configuration.
At one time, only the 777-200LR had been outfitted with flat bed seating in Delta One but now all 777-200ERs have been outfitted with flat bed seating in Delta One as well.
Both aircraft now have the same number of seats with the same row numbers.
This is Delta’s first aircraft to feature flat-bed sleeper suites in Delta One.
All seats feature personal TVs with audio and video onDemand (AVOD).
Delta One is configured in a herringbone patten where all seats are angled towards the aisle.
This provides maximum privacy and all seats have access to the aisle.
Delta introduced their Delta Comfort+ branded product on their long-haul international fleet in the first half of 2011 and it is installed on this aircraft.
The Delta Comfort+ section is located at the front of Delta’s economy class cabin and features up to four inches of extra legroom and 50% more recline.
The Delta Comfort+ offering also includes early boarding and complimentary beer, wine and spirits.
Delta Comfort+ pricing varies by route length and these seats may be purchased from Delta directly at the time of booking or at check-in.
Delta Diamond and Platinum Medallion members and passengers with tickets in Y, B and M fare classes can select these seats at no charge while Gold and Silver Medallion member can purchase them at a discount.
Delta One may transport 37 passengers on its 37 flat bed seats that have 1-2-1 configuration.
The seats of the 1st row are located close to the closets, lavatories and galleys.
The seats 1B and 1C are ideal for two people travelling together.
Passengers of the seats 7A and 7D will have some privacy and extra table space.
Among disadvantages close location to the lavatory.
The seat 10A is the seat with misaligned window.
Passenger of this seat will be able to see something through it only in reclined position of the seat.
The main disadvantage of the seats 10B and 10C is proximity of the lavatories.
Especially in case of the seat 10C the lavatory door opens directly in front of this seat.
These seats are good for people who travel together as well as the seats 11B and 11C.
Close proximity of the lavatory will also be a problem for passengers of the seats 11C and 11D.
Delta Comfort+ has 4 rows with 36 seats that have 3-3-3 configuration.
The best seats are the seats 29ABC and 29GHJ.
Passengers of these seats will take advantage of extra legroom.
However these seats (as well as the seats 29DEF) are a little narrower than standard as the tray tables are in the armrests and there is no floor storage for these seats during takeoff and landing.
The seats 29DEF have also restricted space for passengers legs.
Economy class includes 218 standard seats. Most of them have 3-3-3 configuration.
The seats 42GHJ and the seats of the 43rd row may be not reclining and are located close to the lavatories and galley.
All the seats of the 44th row are reserved for Delta Medallion members and may be given to other passengers at time of check-in if available.
The seats 44A and 44J are considered bad seats as these seats are located close to the emergency exits and the emergency slides protrude into legroom of passengers.
Plus there are no windows at these seats, close location to the galley and lavatories may be bothersome, the width of these seats is reduced as the tray tables are in the armrests making them immovable and there is no floor storage for these seats during takeoff and landing.
The other seats of the 44th row have the same disadvantages except legroom.
The seats 44BC and 44GHhave extra space for passengers legs but the seats 44DEF have restricted legroom due to bulkhead.
The main disadvantage of the seats 55C and 55G is the fact that they are often bumped by service carts as there are no seats behind.
Close location of the seats 56C, 56D, 56F and 56G to the galleys and lavatories will represent a problem for passengers of these seats.
The seats 56AC and 56GJ as well as the seats 57AC and 57GJ will be ideal for people who travel with a companion.
The seats of the 57th row are considered bas seats, first of all because it is the last row in the airplane and other passengers tend to gather near the lavatories.
The seats 57DEF may be less reclining or not reclining at all.

Delta Air Lines Boeing 777-200ER Seating Chart and Cabin Class Configuration Details Overview
Seat Map and Seating Chart Boeing 777 200ER Delta Air Lines
